How do I stop then run out of it this one guy 0-1 trapped me the whole game when I ran double Mable I pinched Dline still didn’t work it was so irritating
If someone is spamming the run and ur having a hard time in dollar you can switch to a formation with 4 down linemen and still run double Mable. Usually pinching the D line and then slanting the D line down will do the trick especially against 0-1 trap.
Ok cool thanks another question if I have 2 deep in and deep out Kos at saftey would I have a good chance at stoping the middle of the field routes while also guarding it with my used
@Chillinindoe ya I would say so. U can always change up looks too if ur opponent is hitting the middle of the field a lot. Putting a very hook or a 3 rec in the middle once in a while isn’t a horrible thing. But those are good abilities for that
And have you tried the spread playbook I have been messing with it and it has good rpos and lots of plays that take the user away so u can target the middle of the field
I’ll have to take a look. That’s what I’ll do next week. Maybe stream while playing it. Gonna create my next blitz video tn. I heard spread may be the best PB tho
Outside will be better at defending outside routes, inside will help defend inside routes, over the top will make D be better at defending vertical routes and underneath will press the WRs at the line of scrimmage and will get beat over the top bc they will be predicting short passes

Sometimes that happens man, u gotta just adjust. If your opponent isnt running corner routes and is hitting the middle of the field then you gotta start adjusting to that. This defense is the basic way of playing it. Running this every time against a good player you will get shredded. The key is to mix it up and when u run this you run it at the right time and the right way.
When people run Mable against me I just use high low reads over the middle since their user is usually the only defender guarding that area.
For sure. There’s many different ways to run Mable coverage but if someone is running basic Mable that’s one concept to beat it

Yep! Mostly for over the top and underneath tho. Underneath changes purple zones to flat zones which are light blue
