I don't think it followed Ghetsis willingly, it was probably a friend of N's as a Deino or Zweilous. That's my best guess at least because dragon types are always notorious for being incredibly picky about trainers that they trust.

Hydreigon with a dragon claw to boost dragon type moves plus stab with drago meteor combined with a pokemon that knows the move topsy-turvey which can reverse your allys stat changes so instead of draco meteor lowering your sp. atk by 2 it actually raises it by 2 so basically every time you use it it gets stronger and stronger.
Hydreigons always been my favourite pokemon cuz black 2 was my first game and ever since i saw ghetsis with it i have akways loved it and i use it in almost every team
