I worked at Garnier in Development Marketing International team, L'Oreal HQ in France. I can share my 2 cents from my experience there and also about your review. As you mentioned correctly, there is a lack of coherence in the product description because there are many different teams working like Marketing team for Product label, Digital team for Website and Product Description Pages. Then comes the country level teams who almost NEVER challenges any decision (specially the Indian team because we don't challenge authority in general I guess?). Anyway, the Garnier Skin Naturals is a sub category and thus it doesn't matter if the product has natural ingredients, the name of the sub brand stays intact. Because bright colors look better on dark skin girls.. it make light skin girls look more pale.. so you think oh my god she got lighter.. dark skin color girls should always wear bright colors.. they look so pretty with them.
It's not about which color suits which skin, I think if any color suits someone they should definitely wear it irrespective of what skin color they have . It's how other girls in the advertisement were made to wear dull colors to make Alia's costume and skin color more attractive. That is my point
pluviophile I have lived in USA for 25 years most whites girls don’t like wearing bright colors like orange or yellow.. they wear them when they get tanned because they feel it looks better on tanned skin.. light pale skin fades in bright colors.. if you see black women they look so pretty bright colors. Definition of glow is different in India and USA too.. in India when you are light your skin is considered glowing but in USA it’s the opposite, it’s when you have nice tanned brown skin..

@Vartika Bhagat dear skin lightening creams doesnt have bleach dear. u get bleach in market for bleaching purpose. When u go out in sun your skin gets pigmented because uva rays tans ur skin. pollution, external agressors make ur skim dull pigmentation. Hyperpigmentation / skin darkenining is real and all these creams work on inhibition of melanin making your skin brighter. I know the promotion is wrong but they dont bleach.

I have used both the cream & the face wash. I found both to be good. It did not do anything related to fairness but did a decent job in fading the acne scars (the face wash did it with continuous usage) & helped to brighten the skin a little. I have sensitive, acne prone skin but these products didn't break me out. These products are definitely not something that perform exceptionally well but these are also not very bad. This is just my opinion by as usual, a great video...

Yuzu lemon is a scarce variety which originated in China but it's highest cultivation is done in Japan. It has a distinctive flavor so it's good for cooking but no unique special uses other than that. The video content is great. Keep up the work! (Just thought of clarifying)

I have used both the cream & the face wash. I found both to be good. It did not do anything related to fairness but did a decent job in fading the acne scars (the face wash did it with continuous usage) & helped to brighten the skin a little. I have sensitive, acne prone skin but these products didn't break me out. These products are definitely not something that perform exceptionally well but these are also not very bad. This is just my opinion by as usual, a great video...

I used every of these creams and then my husband who is super fair himself wouldn't let me no matter what 🤣 i used to throw a fit but after some time i realised he was doing it for me telling me again and again"you don't need this crap" and then finally I realise i am beautiful and have great skin and don't need these things.

Dear Jovita as much as I agree to all the points you said but Yuzu lemon, although it originated from China but is currently mostly cutivated in Japan..... That being said I really agree to your point that it is better to spend money in a brand that is inclusive and spends more money in research than marketing no matter how cheap their product is.
