While one acknowledges that the personal day-to-day reality of many of these West Bank residents is one of feeling oppressed, it’s heart breaking to hear how deceived they are about the source of that oppression. It’s like a twisted dark version of The Truman Show 😔
This. This. This. The ahistorical look at history would be fascinating if it wasn't so horrific and detrimental to long lasting peace. Another issue with this is that, how they are oppressed? The only reason they don't have a full country of their own is that their leaders declined a two state solution and went back on the accords by continuing terrorist actions. The only people they have to blame for their situation are their own leaders. Israel's only real fault in this situation is not having a firmer hand when the PA went back on their side of the deal. We just let it sit there, and I feel bad for those that are paying for their ancestors mistakes. But in a toss up of "who could change the Palestinians situation and who's fault is it?" it's 90% Palestinian Leaders and the rest of the Arab world, and 10% Israel and that would mean we (Israelis) either lay down and die or return their warfare with a devise end.
True in some sense, however there are some that speak out. Also, they have the internet, so it makes no sense that they don’t actually know what’s true. Look at Egypt (Arab Spring) and also the resistance and out-right defiance of women in Iran. All you can conclude is that it’s the Palestinian culture to support terror and death. 🤷♀️
@@RedCarpetZygomaticuscheck out Bassem Eid from the West Bank. There’s also a couple guys from Gaza but I can’t remember their names. They converted to Judaism! "I don't support killing BUT" Yeah you can't do that. Even if I was tortured for 70 years straight, as a 100 year old man I would not rape or torture or kill in revenge. Anyone who would, is evil.
Yeah. When Jews suffered the largest and most brutal genocide in human history, did they turn into terrorists? No, because it's a different culture. Where were the mass shootings, child abductions, suicide bombings, and massacres? Nowhere. We were angry but we carried on and vowed to build a new relationship with the Germans less than a decade after the Holocaust happened. Even if the Palestinian Arab narrative was true, it wouldn't excuse their disgusting actions. And no, I'm not dehumanizing anyone. There are Palestinian Arabs who are not like this but, as we can clearly see according to their own admissions and their own polls, 75% of Palestinian Arabs support Hamas... which is literally a genocidal terrorist death cult. Pretending that most of them are peaceful and not pro-Hamas is dangerously naïve and willfully ignorant of objective reality. They even talk on their TV talk shows about how pathetic the Jews are for loving life. They think they're so righteous when they say that, "Life is vanity. Life is temporary. Death is certain. Heaven is eternal. So why not sacrifice my life for Allah?" They actually think that God wants them to willingly sacrifice their lives. Not in the regular sense of risking your life for a legitimate reason like saving lives or protecting your country while hoping that you survive, but in the sense of murdering random civilians and literally praying to Allah that you get killed by the Jews. Literally begging God to end your life "for the sake of Palestine" and their 72 juicy virgins that Islam promises them - I'm not joking, look it up. I've seen videos of terrorists in prison lamenting that, "I wanted to become a shahid (martyr) but, unfortunately, the Jews didn't kill me". Unfortunately, their society is broken, sick, and morally depraved.
Exactly this is 100% in all my personal interactions with Arabs (except a few truly Westernized ones). They all proudly boast that they are against killing civilians UNLESS there's a good cause for it
I would like to hear them answer "what does oppression mean to you? what are you lacking that you would have if you lived in Egypt or Jordan or anywhere else?"

They think that Israel's prosperity came just from sitting around and being handed things, as they expect to happen to them. They don't realize that unlike some oil-rich Arab countries, Jewish Israelis became 'un-oppressed' through work and innovation. They could be given keys to a house in Lydd (Lod) or Yaffo, and $50K each and wake up tomorrow only to realize they have largely the same problems that they do now.

The cognitive dissonance is amazing. They take no agency for their plight and do not blame Abbas or Hamas for their situation. I lost count of the luxury cars driving by in Ramallah. Bari, I love your work and what you stand for, but if you want to inform your viewers better, please ask ordinary Palestinians: "What does winning against the occupation looks like?", "When will you declare victory?".
You can look at the videos of the Ask Project(Street interviews with Israelis and Palestinians). The large majority of Palestinians do not want peace with Israel and do not wany a two-state solution. Those who do want peace still insist on a "right or return" for all Palestinians into Israel, so basically there would not be a Jewish state because the Arabs would be a majority. The Palestinians will not give up the right of return, which is why their leaders have again and again turned down peace, because they know they would be assassinated if they agreed to that.
It's not "missing" IMHO, because the word suggests it's incidental or unintended. The constant rejection of peace from Palestinian leadership is very much intended. They don't want peace and don't want to hear about a two-state solution.
The simple solution is to take the dispute to the ICJ. However Israel refused to do this for 75 years believing that they are invincible. October 7 proofs invincibility is not guaranteed. So Israel wants to do the Nakba of 1948 again. However this time Nakba is live on social media. Israel is confused and kicking like an injured beast. In 1948 Arab countries turn to the UN for help but ultimately public pressure forced King Foarok of Egypt and King Abdullah of Jordan to act. Also president Quwaiti of Syria. They did not do much accept take 20% of Palestine not taken by Israel.

@hus390 To be fair it was a an agreement between PA and Israel that Area A and B are to have Israeli security, at the very least. We can speculate on how hard the process is (and many do criticize that), but the military presence feels necessary unless more agreement were gone forward IMO. I will say I do think if Jews living in the West Bank are just given security guarantees to live in those areas by a Palestinian state (at the very least they can pay land taxes to them) I think that would be the bare minimum (albeit that seems unlikely).

It’s truly frightening to see someone who is merely inconvenienced by a checkpoint (which was instituted due to two Intifadas of hundreds of terrorist attacks)-which is like going through airport security-calling the raping to death of young women “justified” as revenge. Where are the peacemakers????
Are these people for real? Surely they know Israel hasn’t even been anywhere for the last 20 years? Also, what country has a free to all border entry? No country does. Their country is Jordan. It’s always been. The history will confirm that. The Gaza people originally came from Egypt and Egypt wouldn’t let them return, and then Egypt refused to take Gaza back from Israel. Egyptians have openly said they do not want Palestinians because they don’t want October 7 in Egypt. So that’s not Israel’s fault.
This is incredibly misinformed: 1. Israel hasn't been inside the gaza strip, sure. But it completely controls what goes in and out, even through the Rafah border. 2. Fees for border entry is fucked up agreed. 3. Their country is not Jordan. 70% of gaza is refugees from other cities and villages in what is now israel. 4. Gazans are not Egyptians, and if they are then with the same logic, we all came from Africa so are we all African? 5. Sadly I don't think it's just the Hamas party line. But the Fatah party line. Fatah rules the west Bank, it used to rule Gaza until Hamas usurped them, but even before that they were running schools that indoctrinated children to hate & kill Jews.
It highlights the belief in myth. Palestinians believe they are the most oppressed people on earth today and also in history. They do not understand the depths of oppression that the Jewish people have faced. "It's 1% of Palestinian oppression" - this man has no idea. Even on earth today, the Palestinians are mostly left alone. Compare to Thai indigenous groups forced into human-zoos for world tourists or Assyrians who no one pays attention to. Palestinians would be able to live in any Muslim nation quite happily - but as we know, most people have the same level of happiness no matter the how the circumstances of their lives change. Angry people are still angry after losing a leg, happy people remain happy after losing a leg!
Islam has no right to demand an end to the war without returning Israel children. Israel has no right to stop fighting until they bring all the children from gaza ❤️🇮🇱❤️
The saddest thing is not the lies, it's the unwillingness to show any accountability. They ELECTED Hamas for government, instead of a more moderate peace-seeking party. Unlike neighbouring countries, they never had an Arab Spring style protest and never tried to replace their corrupt and warmongering regime. They taught their own kids to hate the Jews, and to sacrifice their lives so that they'd "free" their land. What they never taught them was to strive for peace and end the conflict.
They say there is no future in Gaza, could it be because they have made it that way for themselves? When we look at our lives we usually see our own downfalls our mistakes that lead us to where we are at. These people do not, it seems like their problems are caused by Israel, the USA someone else, but themselves.
They have nice clothes, cars everywhere, shops, food, yet they are oppressed. I think they want to live like the Qataris. Well, Israelis don't live like the Qataris either. There's no oil. The West Bank is open to Jordan. They could move anywhere their heart desires.
I think the Free Press purposely chose this location and these people to make it seem like it's not that big of a deal, which seems unfortunate coming from them. I love the Free Press but it's very clear Bari is hyper partisan on anything involving Jews. She rarely supports identity politics unless it's Jews. So, there is definitely bias in this reporting and that should be stated up front. This doesn't mean I support Palestine, it means "heterodox" people supposed to be as neutral as possible when reporting, even tho they may personal have a strong bias.
Bari is not working for the mainstream media and she doesn't have to be neutral. She is Jewish and she is pro-Israel and she makes no secret about it. Her point of view is legitimate and honest in my opinion. The voice of Jews and Israelis must be heard when the world is flooded with antisemitic and pro-Hamas propaganda coming from all the outlets including the left mainstream ones. The only people that are willing to express Israeli point of view are a few activists like Bari Weiss, Douglas Murray, Mosab Hassan Yousef, some Conservative and Christian outlets. Frankly, the other side is peddling lots of falsehoods that people are eating up and it is absolutely terrible.
You’re so brainwashed! Even if your claim is that they didn’t have a state because they were under the ottomans or Jordanians, whatever your opinion is. These people were here for thousands of years, at least 2 thousand years. In the U.S. we revere our natives and have developed a collective shame for our actions of theft and misery. It would be a rare person to say, the natives are not the rightful owners of the land. Our cities, streets and the like are named in their honor and we all still accept that they have been greatly disenfranchised. So, the world is looking at Israel, who is dishonoring the multi thousand year occupancy of these people in the lands. Some are a thousand years of lineage, some hundreds and some could be found in the dna of the Canaanites. I respect that Abraham, a likely descendant of many Palestinians and Jews, inhabited the land thousands of years ago, but to stake claim today?!? Because of that?!? That seems highly problematic to me. Jews occupy this area because of superior military, alliances, influence and wealth, not because god mandated it. We cannot use our gods to grab land. How many people believe their god entitles them to others rights. Our society breaks down with justification like this. It’s one thing to possess a land and have their be an error of foreclosure or a dispute of conquest in previous 50 years or whatever, but to claim ownership after a 3,000 year gap of ownership?!?! That is completely illogical and insane.
the only reason gazza is on seige and there is so many check point for west bank is because israel care about its security and they give us all the reasons too, if they was peaceful over these years they would give israel a hope for 2 state salution and maybe things would look diffriend
I understand that it’s probably impossible to speak out against Palestinians living in the WB from fear of retribution by the government and community. However, in the broad world of 2 billion Muslims, there is so little speaking out against Hamas and Palestinian leadership. There is so little agency. This is not a partner for peace.
Thank you, I see how this people talk and I understand that they dont want any peace in the region, this people support the pain of Israelis and therfore They are ready to sacrifice the children of Gaza, it is sad that they hate the Israelis more than they love their children.
It's like a person who continually puts their finger in a light socket and then complains that they're getting a shock. I feel badly that they're experiencing the effects of a shock but the answer is to stop putting your finger in a light socket. I feel compassion for the Palestinians, for the wars they've endured, hardships, but the answer is to stop attacking Israelis. What they're upset about is that Israelis won't capitulate and die. Everything would work out well for them that if after a terrorist attack, Israel would not fight back. That's what they're sorry about. It isn't land or borders because all of those things have been negotiated about ad infinitum. They say what they want very clearly from their chants: From the River to the Sea... And Globalize the Intifada.
I believe you have this analyzed correctly, and very succinctly. I do not feel compassion for them. I feel compassion for the 1200 who died and their families, and the hostages taken.

It would have been more to the point if more challenging questions were asked, like "Why sisn't Arab leaders accept the UN partition plan and share the land?"
Exactly! When the world's moral principles get degraded to a simple "strong vs weak, winner vs loser" criteria, something is bound to go very wrong in the coming decades. I'm not thinking about going to Israel just because of people's opinions about it in the west. I'm thinking about moving because a) it's my people's home and society; and b) the fact that 50% of 18-24 year olds in America support destroying Israel (literally) is a sign that our society is breaking apart. This is a sign of many more problems to come that have nothing to do with Jews and Israel. What else could they be manipulated into supporting? That's what scares me.
Palestinians are experts in blaming others. In the last 30 years they were offered a state 3 times and rejected the 3 offers. They also rejected any offer in the past for 2 state solution: the peel commission in 1937 and the UN partition plan in 1947.

They live in luxury compared to the poverty stricken reserves where the indigenous natives in Canada were dumped after their land was stolen. No one seems to care about them. Israel, which actually is the indigenous homeland of the Jews, is constantly being accused of occupation.
It’s just so sad that they have been fed these lies about Gaza being a prison and having no supplies, when some of the wonderful Israelis on the Israeli side, who were the ones who would drive them into Israeli hospitals and try to help their life, we’re eventually killed by Hamas on October 7th. It’s not like Hamas spared any life - even the ones who wanted better for the Palestiniens (and are a majority in Israel)
HAMAS targeted the Nova Music Festival as well as kibbutz communities. Both were people on the liberal end of the spectrum. People who don't support state terror or a one state solution. People who support Palestinians the most in Israel. Kind of weird places to target really.
While their people languish in poverty and are treated as human shields, the leaders of Hamas live billionaire lifestyles. The terror group’s three top leaders alone are worth a staggering total of $11 billion and enjoy a life of luxury in the sanctuary of the emirate of Qatar.
Westerners should take not on how many Palestinians truly feel about the two state solution. It’s just a launching ground to achieve a one state free of Jews.
Actually the two states solution has been around since 1922 - it's called Jordan! Even better - look at the map : Greater Palestine was Jordan Lebanon and Southern Syria. The little bit to the left is Israel !
Everyone should know that this was filmed in Ramallah, which is the most liberal Palestinian Arab city. The average opinion in Ramallah is actually moderate by their standards.
The most liberal? That was where the 2000 brutal lynching of two Israeli reservists happened. That is where the "Bloody Hand" symbol originated, you know, that pin that all the woke Westerners wear so proudly.. The people in Ramallah celebrated 9/11 FYI, and were absolutely delighted with the October 7th massacre. Liberal is not a word you can apply to any Palestinian mentality.
I've also been very surprised by the sense of a bustling, modern life in the West Bank and previously in Gaza... hardly the harsh prison regime Leftists would have us believe.
I'd guess there are periods where the Israeli presence is more relaxed and periods where it's more intense and trigger-happy. Unreported World did an episode on Gaza in 2003. It was before Hamas took power and before the IDF pulled out, but at the time of the intifada and everyone on high alert. At that point it was a brutal and relentless repression where soldiers were quick to shoot. It was a half hour episode and even I felt a sense of "I couldn't live under this". Could it be that they are afraid of being heard complaining against Hamas ? Gosh, what a terrible situation this is. One thing that could gain them support from skepticals would be if Hamas just give the hostages back and surrender,
The only pain most of them feel is that they did not achieve the huge victory over Israel that Hamas and Iran promised them on October 7th. They feel pain? Oppressed???? Just look at the cars, at the commercial activity all around, people dressed decently, crowded streets! The Palestinians' frame of mind is their own undoing.
Unfortunately they could have a future if they would stop their aggression toward Israel. Israel, in 1947, wanted to see the Arabs in the land prosper. They wanted to live side by side in peace and prosperity but the Arab nations would not have it. I just wish they would know their true history so they could change their future.
Not to mention that Israel accepted the Arabs already living within the 1947 partition as equal citizens before the Arab armies attacked them the day after they declared a state.
They could have built schools and made something of their state from the aid money. Instead, they weaponized and their children are dying because of those choices.

Something else that goes unsaid; they are willing to refer to the war in Gaza as a genocide, and yet never mention fear that the genocide will come for them next, despite their contempt for Israel. They know that Israel isn't truly attempting to wipe out the Palestinians, it is just a trigger word for victim status
Please define the oppression and occupation, two words freely used but without offering a basis. Please define what you think freedom is, because all I hear is to be beholden to shariah, and I can’t envision that as a form of freedom.
Does anyone ever ask how are they oppressed? Like how is it different from other international borders where you have checkpoints? Is Egypt oppressing Gaza? Is Texas oppressing Mexico? Is Canada oppressing the US?
We need so much more of this and so little more of westerners putting words in Palestinians mouths. Although, progressives are so radicalized they say this crap as well.

But then I remember that it wasn't just any Jew. It was Bari Weiss. I continue to be impressed by you and your organization, Bari. You are the epitome of what journalism should be.
This is absolutely mind blowing to me. This is a series of people blatantly supporting terrorism then feign innocence. Unbelievable. Absolutely disgusting.
If you look at really dictator regimes you rarely find its subjects openly criticizing it (look at North Korea for example). These people do not hesitate to criticize Israel, but NOT A WORD OF CTITICISM for PA...
These people have no empathy at all and continue making everything political. When the IDF went into Gaza, it found extremely rich neighbourhoods that lack for nothing. But these people keep telling stories about how sad they all are and how much they should receive everyone empathy - despite already having the highest humanitarian aid per capita on the planet.
The young woman says she has no future. Is that because she has no agency, no control over her own life? What does she want for her future? Are women oppressed in her culture? What is she saying? People always have a future….until they die.

I appreciate that Bari and FP are showing the Palestinian perspective as well as the Israeli perspective. I hope FP stays truthful and centrist and does not capitulate to a far right perspective at the expense of a truthful examination.
Correction: even without settlements, according to the UN, Gaza is still classified as occupied thru the blockade and control of all its air, land, and sea entries
Your first mistake is justifying your claim using the UN. They are a sham. They allow dictator governments with abysmal human rights records pile on Israel to avoid any airtime to their own atrocities. The UN is a joke sadly.
Exactly my thoughts! Like isn’t there one person who realizes their beliefs aren’t intellectually or morally consistent? One person??
True in some sense, however there are some that speak out. Also, they have the internet, so it makes no sense that they don’t actually know what’s true.
Bari, I love your work and what you stand for, but if you want to inform your viewers better, please ask ordinary Palestinians: "What does winning against the occupation looks like?", "When will you declare victory?".
And then some more easy questions that could challenge their surreal answers
You can look at the videos of the Ask Project(Street interviews with Israelis and Palestinians). The large majority of Palestinians do not want peace with Israel and do not wany a two-state solution. Those who do want peace still insist on a "right or return" for all Palestinians into Israel, so basically there would not be a Jewish state because the Arabs would be a majority.
The Palestinians will not give up the right of return, which is why their leaders have again and again turned down peace, because they know they would be assassinated if they agreed to that.
I think we all know what the answer is….it starts with “from” and ends with “sea”. 😏
Sadly, the Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
Israel led by Netanyahu made it clear (the war made him honest) that military occupation will not end, and he was doing everything he can to perpetuate it. Period. Why? Because Israel wants the land they are living under. And for that sake, it will make their lives hard to force them to leave. So when they hear Israel had a bad day, their reaction is “f@£k them, they are causing us to live horribly everyday”. There’s a desire to push back the pain and suffering they are enduring to the source (Israel).
It would have been more to the point if more challenging questions were asked, like "Why sisn't Arab leaders accept the UN partition plan and share the land?"
Can see why woke loves them they perfected "victim" culture.
That's what scares me.
woke loves them for victim culture and lies
I can see why right wing simpletons love propaganda
Palestinians are experts in blaming others. In the last 30 years they were offered a state 3 times and rejected the 3 offers. They also rejected any offer in the past for 2 state solution: the peel commission in 1937 and the UN partition plan in 1947.
This is what a victim mentality brings you. Unreal.
but it worked for the zionists....
Newsflash: they were committing these acts 70 or 80 years ago too.
Meeting with Hitler to discuss the Jewish problem and the viability of a holocaust even before Israel began.... hmmmm n kind of shows you what this is really about.
This is absolutely terrifying.
Such oppression, on a typical street with cars, a shoe store, street vendors, decent clothes, manicured beards, a fancy LED display on a building in the background....
Yea they are soooo oppressed…. Bullshit!
UN in 1947 assigned lands to two people.period.
all that loss is sad sure ,but all that blood is on Hamas' hands
The blood is on their hands too for supporting it.
The power of ideas. In a culture that doesn’t think of productive, individual endeavor. But of tribal revenge and dominance.
Horrendously accurate
It was like a real-life version of the future in Terminator.
True. That aspect of life is hard for sure. But we know why that is
@@sadako24one that they made for themselves. As you said, it was during the intifada. In your analogy, they are the terminator robots. The can effortlessly blend in and attack at any moment and they are hungry for the total destruction of their enemy. Israel are made to look bad but they are the good side unfortunately. I want to see Palestinians flourish but they need to get out of their own way.
@sadako24 I could get criticizing the seeming extraducial policies against Palestinians, but I do wonder what you'd do when the lines between civlian and combatant/terrorist is so thin, how do you get the jump there with clear boundaries, I wonder.
And those who plant te&&or harvest te&&ror.
YES
“For such a time as this.” This woman is so smart, so brave, for such a time as this. Keep up the great work, Bari. You’ve got a lot of us watching and learning.
Thank you Bari for showing us what the Palestinian ppl think, I can hear deep pain in their words, and I also wonder if most of them had to say that because their faces are showing in camera, tho the young ppl do look hurting. I’ve seen abuse from my own country’s police and soldiers so I imagine their fears of suffering rudeness treatment from checkpoint officers towards them, I so feel sad that they didn’t condemn the atrocities, even if they suffer, because as bad or rude they are treated no one doing to them what Hamas did in 10/7 .
Do you have any idea of how these people live?
Better than what propaganda is being pushed here.
And they are not afraid, they just NEED to remain the eternal "victims" of the "Zionists".
Save your tears for the truly oppressed in Syria, Yeman, Nigeria etc.
Or it could be that they are honest, and really think that
stop projecting on to them what you want to believe. It's because your Western mind cannot comprehend how so many can be this evil and hateful.....but it's reality. They say what they mean....They are not afraid of their leaders
It’s clear from the first guys perspective that Palestinians are being grossly manipulated into believing a false narrative. To think no food or drink has been allowed in for 20 years is absurd and disconnected from the reality on the ground. He does seem like a decent person though.
He most likely is a decent person, but this is the persistent propaganda he receives from his government and mosque.
here is a twist, he knows its a lie that he is saying. But he also thinks there is Western media camera in his face, so like a good Paliwood actor he spouts all his lines
This is why there will never be peace
All I need to know about ‘Palestinians’ I learned on October 7.
Thank you, Bari, for this. Only by trying to understand the other side and relating to one another's humanity even when we disagree can we hope to reach some resolution.
yeah - Bari's empathy is world-renowned.
Absolutely great video. Two state solution is not possible. They confirmed it.
Wow. If I see Nerri Weiss’s name on something I give it my full attention. This did not disappoint although I want to see way more of this!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks Bari Weiss for covering the other side. It makes me trust your perspective a little bit more.
I cannot believe the lies and exaggeration from ALL the people here. No responsibility, no mention of Hamas that has created this pathetic life for everyone
Let me just say one thing, not a single person in this video looks “oppressed”
The guy's smile at the beginning of the video is the face of evil.
Oppressed???? Just look at the cars, at the commercial activity all around, people dressed decently, crowded streets! The Palestinians' frame of mind is their own undoing.
They do not know the true meaning of genocide. The ignorance is terrible
@@waz3128who are the european settlers coming here and accepting arabs to live in their lands they lived for centuries
They could have built schools and made something of their state from the aid money. Instead, they weaponized and their children are dying because of those choices.
It’s bizarre that they think the world doesn’t know what’s going on over there. Believe me, we know already.
We know and we supported the outcome. Now the progressives know everyone knows so they have to start acting like they support palestine.
There's no such thing as a Palestinian. The name literally makes no sense.
It is really tragic what she's saying at 6:52, I cannot imagine living next to a raging war. With that said, the Palestinian side needs to accept defeat so the whole region can move on.
naaah. It is just unlimited US support. If that plug is pulled, israel will not last 3 days.
@SK-ou4gt not true at all. America was very distant from Israel during the Eisenhower administration. Read a book.
wow, truth of sad reality in our faces. these people say without any problem such hard thoughts, and the world think israel can make peace with them? it is very clear they dont want to. this video made me very sad, i dont see a good future
there IS a good future. the jews see that they have no future there and they all move to West Israel (The US).
Even birds are prevented from entering Gaza??
Story from 1001'Night
Poetic thinking
I’m pretty sure it was translated wrong and that he was saying planes. But that’s from what I know from secondhand Arabic 🤷♀️
What cheek to say that October 7th was just one percent of what has been happening to them! There's no comparison!
They are oppressed by HAMAS!
Maybe they would like living in Qatar better. Their leaders certainly do.
Corey Gil-Schuster called, he says “imitation is the highest form of flattery.”
yeah but his questions are cynically loaded with left wing self loathing
We need so much more of this and so little more of westerners putting words in Palestinians mouths. Although, progressives are so radicalized they say this crap as well.
I am still in shock that a Jew went to The West Bank, asked the questions that you did of the people who allegedly ALL want to kill you, and then had the integrity to post their unvarnished answers.
Absolutely disgusting.
not surprising at all. the US provides unlimited support to Isreali terror.
This is what happens when you oppress them
If you look at really dictator regimes you rarely find its subjects openly criticizing it (look at North Korea for example).
This guy is full of it. Everyone seems to forget that Hamas were the people who started this whole mess.
Thank god for the free press for giving us a real, non-biased view into the world. Thank you!
The young woman says she has no future. Is that because she has no agency, no control over her own life? What does she want for her future? Are women oppressed in her culture? What is she saying? People always have a future….until they die.
Judging by her accent, she was most likely born in US. So, she certainly has a choice, and chooses to stay in Ramallah.
@@Alex-by-the-lakewhat is more chic than being a victim. Women in the US like to two the exact same way.
Thank you for sharing this. Palestinian voices need to be heard too. And that’s what I expect from a channel called Free Press: a channel where many different point of views are seen.
Why tell that first guy, it is because you selected a government of hate that does not want peace. You voted for this foreseeable outcome. Now you suffer.
It would be great to get some push back at these people after they spew their ignorance.
Well done asking and just listening. I have my own opinion but this format made it easier to hear other opinions without having my counterpoints all queued up and ready to respond. Thanks Free Press.
That was so pitiful. Why don't you get people to talk about the children?
Free the hostages nowwwwwww
If those are representative of views in the WB, it does not look good for the future.
What wonderful p, challenging and compelling journalism. Thank you
the eternal and perpetual victims wedded to the idea that their suffering will eventually mean the dismantling of Israel.
In other words: “Bebol of the wurrld” (if you know, you know)
Bari, I’m sorry you had to interview people who would gladly cheer your demise.
She did not have to, she chose to. That is why I am a subscriber.
no it was a "Israel victory tour" by bari - rubbing it in the face of Palestinians.
What is the gaza-egypt border?
This is upsetting. These people are so misled
If they care about their own civilians' well being, maybe elect leaders that care about the same? Just a thought
