NOT ONE DOCTOR TOOK AN XRAY?! 🤬
So it was in the right at the first pic then at the dentist it were on the left and u used the gua cha (idk the name) on ur left cheek AND at the end of that you removed it from the right cheek am i tripping!? Or idk 😭😂
I hope she informed both docs for their future reference. It may never happen again but good to know.
@misko3092 I had to watch it again to notice but most of the video was filmed using a front facing camera and that last clip was not. 😅
Pizza would never do this to us.

Getting gaslit by doctors always pisses me off. She was almost convinced there was nothing wrong
She wasn’t gaslit 😂 the doctors truly didn’t k is what was going on. The only person who gave her an actual answer was the surgeon and in a way he was half right. Learn words before you use them
@@leriahslife341Ong like wtf is this kid on about? Learned a word on tiktok 😂😂 we must have watched different videos cus the doctor said she didn’t know I didn’t see any gaslighting
@@leriahslife341 ur not wrong she wasn’t gaslit, but the doctor did nothing. Telling her to take pain meds and keep up oral hygiene is the equivalent of getting told to use ice and walk it off in PE. She’s kinda lucky it came out and did not get lodged deeper in her cheek. But again all we are hearing is his words through her, hopefully he told her more info abt what was happening or at least got a scan of what was in her cheek. Just some kind of effort to help besides common sense advice. Getting told “idk take pain meds” is unfortunately common for women in healthcare (again not saying that that’s what happened here, but just that it’s common).
@@isaburntcake What exactly do you expect? Doctors thinking about EVERY possibility that could have been? I work at the dental field, I would never guess that a whole flower with stem would be in the cheek.
If you literally can't find anything and can't even feel anything because the flower is not hard, you don't automatically think it's this case. Especially because we don't even know if she mentioned that she got it after that specific meal.
He gave ibuprofen and mouth wash because it's obviously an infection with "no reason" so calming down the infection is important.
An xray also wouldn't show anything as it is not a hard substance that will show up.
I am all for doctors who actually gaslight and literally refuse to do anything despite having pain, I hate those but this is not a common case and doctors cannot think of every uncommon case in the world
How was she getting gaslit when the stem was tiny
If you think you’re useless, just remember the “reacting persons” is existing.
I was looking for this comment 😂
If you ever feel useless remember that there are people who insult kids for messing around with greenscreen
@@wecangethigher4866 if you ever feel useless just remember that there’re people who have too much time worrying about other people instead their own.
@@wecangethigher4866That is not a kid that is a grown woman

If you think something is wrong and your doctor says it’s “probably nothing”, get a second, third, or fourth opinion! Trust yourself! If something is wrong, your body will tell you and you need to trust it.
True
Except that that is so expensive 😢
I could barely afford the first opinion 😅
The problem is, doctors are expensive.
That's easy to say, but not easy to do. Wish it was that simple
I’m telling you. Doctors are not the same anymore. It’s almost rare to find a doctor that’ll take the time to aide your needs.
Had a doctor 3 years ago told me my coughing was due to tiredness n the weather, only until i realize that i lost 5 kg and coughing up blood that i got tested for lung tuberculosis. Until now i still struggle to get those 5 kg back
@@emilyann4504 omg what!!!!! That just pissed me off. My mom lost a toe last summer because the doctor didn’t open her circulation in her foot, to allow blood flow through the foot after an infection. When I noticed her toe was black, the doctor told her that it was due to her diabetes when in fact two weeks prior he told my mother that her diabetes were controlled and she was in the healthiest state he’d ever seen a diabetic. I swear.
I had a piece of wood stuck in my foot for 3 years after an injury, went to the doctors many times, they told me it was just scar tissue until it started forcing its way out and they finally listened to me
My friend's grandmother's cancer progressed to her bones before doctors knew what was happening, because they just attributed her pain to "being old". Gave her paracetamol and sent her on her way FOUR TIMES, and by that time she was already sentenced to death, basically. Doctors really are not doing their job. I don't know if it's always been this way, or if something's changed, but it's definitely not good.
In their defense you can see organic material in an xray.
Ever felt useless? Remember this woman in the corner
Great content. The faces being pulled while sitting over the top of someone else's video made the original story soooo much better

I love how the seed came out the other side where the swelling was

Confirmed- my mom has a tiny shard of glass in her knee/leg for the longest time. Overtime (like years) it slowly wiggled it ways out and popped out. Unsure if it was swollen or not (this happened before i was born). But ye your body does it best to GTFO foreign objects
😭 what's with Mom's and getting glass stuck in them? My mom had glass stuck in her hand and the same thing happened to her, it just came out one day
@@Livvylol42 I'm not a mom but when I was 6 or so I got a shard of glass stuck in my foot, I have no idea if it's still there or not.
This happened to my mom with a sliver of bamboo. It stayed in her for 10 years before it just came out on its own
I got a piece of lightbulb glass stuck in my knee when I was like 6. I’m 35 and 2 weeks ago where the scar was suddenly had a scab and started hurting. My 8 y/o was playing with one of those ear cameras and looking at booboos and she looked at my knee and I scratched the scab off and I could see something so I squeezed it and a piece of glass came out covered in like skin or something. I was shocked.

Thank you so much for your reaction, it helped so much when watching because of your valuable inputs and information you provided.
Fellow clinicians take note: often times, your patients DO know whats going on, you just have to ask the right questions
I mean they did ask questions. It's just one of those situations that's so unique, and hard to spot. Cause a simple xray won't show it either
@@Its_AsteriaA foreign body in live tissue of any kind is really not all that unique. Even the mouth.
@@ghoultoothin this case, it’s unique since she didn’t eat meat, bones or anything hard. Who would expect a foreign body from a person who ate marigold.
That great feeling when you knew something wrong with your body but no one believed you, until you prove them wrong.
The fact the doctors didnt know why there was pain and swelling scares me 😭😭 i know their human and can't know everything but still 😭😭
Honestly it's very hard to notice punctures in live tissue as it wants to close immediately. This is also in the mouth which makes it even harder. Plus stuff like this won't show on a x ray. Best thing to do with the mouth is to let it come out naturally if possible as the body is very interesting on how it responds to these foreign objects and the removal of them. I had a hollow tooth that broke and I'm still spitting tooth fragments from that and bits that broke when I got a implant tooth. It's been about 6 years since I broke my tooth and 5 years since the surgery.
Obviously that is rare case, also that tiny thing wouldn't appear on xray
X-ray doesn't show those things
Ah yes doctors should magically diagnose stuck plant stem inside cheek syndrome.
Obviously they found nothing with their professional exam, and imaginings won't show it. Whay do you want them to do? Open the cheek for something small as that?
What u think a doctor sees swelling and will think about a marigold stem ?
We just cancelled green screen kids and now we have to cancel green screen moms
The duct of the parotid gland opens in the cheek opposite to the first molar. That stem was lodged inside her duct. It's very unusual. I don't blame the doctors for not being able to identify it.
Yes it’s true. I have popcorn husk stuck underneath my gum. I tried to take it out multiple methods and no luck getting it out. For two weeks I felt really irritated and my gum was swollen for the first week but then I feel normal the week after. Then 3 weeks later I literally saw it got push out and I felt the sense of relief.
Popcorn husks and gums are the worse combination ever!!

@@lovelylibra7349 I'm french so I least I'm gaslighted for free haha
So, genius what do you think they should have done? X-ray? Won't show up, it's living tissue. Just start randomly cutting away tissue? Yeah I'm sure insurance will cover random exploratory surgery for some minor pain and swelling.

I mean, it was most likely the ibuprofen which reduced the swelling along with the rinses that allowed it to work its way out. Ibuprofen literally reduces swelling and inflammation which would have made it easier for the seed to come out.
@@overrated3237she said it was 3 weeks later tho the ibuprofen was not in her system for that long lol

It’s the dayyyumm for me 😂😂
Again this is why medical professionals need to listen to their patients and ask questions. Spend time and wait because the answers to help you patients are there you just need to figure out what they are explaining
But they did listen... and she did explain. You're not gonna see a seed in someone's skin without some kind of scan. Xrays won't detect plant matter
Yeah a surgeon sees swelling and should think of a marigold stem
He actually was correct nad tge medications helped her reduce oain and swelling
That was so satisfying to see it just fester out of your mouth like that 👌

My dad and I played paintball at a friend's bday. Someone thought it was a good idea to let a 6 year old play, and he shot my dad in the next from less than 10 ft away. He bled and was bruised, it left a ring-shaped scar on his neck where he was shot.
Years later, he gets a pimple over his scar. He pops it, and a piece of the plastic paintball casing came out 😭
Sounds like your dad had an abscess around the plastic that eventually worked its way to the surface where your dad drained it thinking it was a pimple. This happened to a friend of mine who got stabbed with a pencil in elementary school 🫠

I had an extraction at a dentist office instead of an oral surgeon - NEVER AGAIN!! Not only was I given nothing for pain or antibiotics, they left a chunk of tooth that caused pain, swelling, and discharge for NINE months. Every time I asked about it, they told me it was nothing.
I think I'm more impressed that she got a dentist appointment AND an appointment with an oral surgeon so quickly. I try to get an appointment and I'm waiting for 4 months 😂
THIS IS WHY I’M SCARED OF EDIBLE FLOWERS😅
It’s not medical gaslighting. I’m a dentist and I doubt I would have been able to find that. You can’t see it, it doesn’t show up on X-ray, unless she told me she ate a salad with seeds recently, my brain wouldn’t even go there.
i hate getting gaslit by doctors. when i was 6, my mom had told the doctor my neck looked bigger than normal. for 8 years, nobody would listen to her. then at 14, i got diagnosed w thyroid cancer. doctors suck. now im 15 and cancer free all thanks to my surgeon and God ❤ !!!
It must’ve been such relief Jst watching I come out😂
I'm so glad your ok , bless ya , it could have been a whole lot worse
I luv how you keep telling dr that something there but they never wann listen
This why I don’t eat the salads in a fancy restaurant 😭☝🏻
Did they not see this in a X-ray?
Maybe just like how skin is not visible on the X-rays, the marigold was not either? That’s just my guess, but bone and teeth are the only things you generally see on dental X-rays.
X-ray are basically EM waves which are absorbed by the bones and can easily pass through the blood and ligaments so that it doesn't show on the x-ray. That's why we can see cavities and fractures through x-rays. Therefore, the EM waves weren't absorbed by the marigold and just passed through so they weren't able to see it on the X-ray.
Lost me at: " I knew It Bro"

Be careful what you eat ❤❤❤❤❤
Never underestimate your instincts... When i delivered my second child, i felt the nurse stuffing me with bandages down there to stop the intense bleeding i had because she had to stitch me for a long hour before she finished and took all the bandages off, supposedly... Later when i got home, i started feeling like there was something deeper inside my uterus... I went and did an ultrasound with two different gynecologists and both of them said i had nothing; it was only after five weeks later when i was resting in the toilet that i felt something sneaking out of my vagina to eventually fall in the water... It was indeed a bandage as solid as a rock... I'm just grateful to God it didn't cause me an infection or any worse complication
This girl and her story are something I think about randomly sometimes 😂
Crazy
How does it feel to be first?
Sooo.. serious question. If they had done an x-ray, would this not have been caught immediately as a foreign body?
Possibly they did take one could’ve been missed as the seed could’ve been super imposed on to the tooth , but I agree with you
It would have to be something like bone or metal to show up. It was just regular plant matter and would just blend in. Even then it's kinda a waste of time. 99.99999 percent of the time stuff like that just works it's way out eventually
X-ray are basically EM waves which are absorbed by the bones and can easily pass through the blood and ligaments so that it doesn't show on the x-ray. 2 professionals and none of them thought of maybe checking her cheeks
Permanent fear unlocked.
I remember this. I last heard of it when she came back form the oral surgeon who told her it was just trauma but that it wasn't really lodged inside her cheek. I forgot to check back but just like her I really wanted to believe it was just the trauma. Turns out it really was in there. Her gut instinct was right. It really reminds you to trust yourself and if you get gaslit by medical providers to get a second opinion and a third or fourth if needed.
