Ah we all did that as kids the excitement of putting the fuselage together as soon as we opened the box, as for the Perspex canopy, well back then we did not have masking tape just a thin brush and steady hand.
That was fun for the youth in times, when no cell phones existed. Never had this kit, but always wanted it, since the Blenheim is a good looking aircraft. Thanks for showing us this treasure.
I've got the same model in my stash but a bit newer, from 1986 according to the box with a different box front, this one being a photo of the model. And the transfers are much better with the centre circles actually centred!!
Showing my age but I'm pretty sure I made that model as a child myself maybe 1978 something like that, I remember it quite vividly because I think it was my first exposure to the "Free French"
@@nostalgicplastic4323you could always hunt down another 1 in not as nice a condition as this and build that 1 leaving this 1 in the box.....amazing condition (esp the box) for somethimg that's 48 years old.....same age as me.👍👍👍

Well, there's the newish Mk1 Kit, available in all good model shops.
Amazing condition Baz
An true nostalgic kit. I made around 1975 too. I remember that the kit came without the turret clear part.

Not a bad little kit👍

I did the Mk 1 in the 70s.
I dare say another find from Sarah?
Of course!

Are you going to build this vintage kit?
I don't think so, at least not for a while.
