Hi! If you are able to answer, that view of green threshold lights line on runway, it is the marking of touchdown zone, yes? I also noted it is 25C, one of twin runways at FRA =)
I gotta make a project on lighting systems at airports, that is why this is very interesting for me.
Phenomenal landing Captain!! What a beautiful flight deck, Airbus Neo! Thanks JP for another stellar video!! 🛫✈
Glad you enjoyed it, you're very welcome!
Pilots are the most disciplined people on the planet. It's always so cool to see how they perform these incredible procedures. Thank you for all you do!
Drink everytime you hear 'check'
hahaha... I hope you mean coffee
Checked!
😂😂😂
Smoothest landing I have seen so far!
Wow, the captain is very careful. I notice that she wanted to make a second confirm when they saw the taxi lights are off while vacating the runway to avoid any mistake!
Really interesting to watch, and super professional crew. Didn’t think ATC were too helpful RE which runway to plan for, but interesting how they planned for both possibilities using the secondary flight plan. Learn something every time!
I enjoy listening to and watching these pilots; their stories are amazing. This A321Neo is amazing and beautiful inside and out. I've always loved the A321, and I hope I can fly on an A321Neo one day. I enjoy seeing how they work when they're in the cockpit; it makes you feel like you're there learning from them. Amazing and beautiful night view outside these windows. This aircraft is so quiet compare to the older A321's. Awesome landing by these great pilots; this plane sounds quiet but does sound great while landing. I love seeing other planes while taxing to the gate. Awesome video; I love it.
ANOTHER great film from JP! Good job Gulf Air flight crew! Smooth as you'll get!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks very much
Absolutely sensational crew.

Yes!👍
Some definitely do rule.

Beautiful aircraft and what a great landing ❤️
I live the pilot dream a little bit through flight simulators hehe
Glad you enjoyed the video and landing
It would be great to own one of those full-size, physical, flight simulators, the type used in aviation-training schools etc. One could have hours of endless fun with one of those ... but oh, so expensive to buy.
The first scenes filmed exactly over my house :D
Love from VOBL, India 🇮🇳
Hello captain. Beautiful view you cockpit. Good trip.the best Airbus??
God bless you
Be safe
Thank you! You too!
Slick landing ladies :)

Great video no doubt!! What a beautiful landing, in a night sky full of light and color
good pilot co-operation...
Very much so!
thank you very much for a very interesting video, especially as you had 2 female pilots and of course a female Captain. best wishes to those 2 pilots on this flight.
❤ super kaptenin

👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
👍
*A bit scary they were not told which right to take to vacate the runway.*
😍
👍🏻👍🏻
I need to became a pilot as you👍👍
You'll have to check out the requirements for the job. Stick with it - 'every journey begins with a single step', as they say. 😉

Glad you enjoyed it!
Great stuff. "CHECK" was blue on the ECAMs on final. Hope the flight attendants were buckled in!
👍🏻
What mcdu version is this?? S9? It looks a lot different!
Will need a pilot to answer you here...
Are the cockpits larger on Airbus aircraft? This looks quite spacious.
Yes
Is cda and low drag approaches not done in gulf air? Why?
They worked on the precise airbus procedures. Flap 1 before FDP and then configuring as required.
What does she say and the End with gps loss ?
what to do to become pilot in nepal give some information
Best is to contact some flight schools. Good luck👍🏻
When you hear "5" you know its butter
I also want to became pilot 😭
Sounds like a warm German welcome from Frankfurt ATC!!!! Surely they could give the landing runway in use much earlier.
I agree with you... it was very early morning with very little traffic specially now during covid traffic is much lighter... I guess they wanted to keep it a surprise and keep the crew guessing :)
I just commented to criticize them and then tower for not specifying which exit.
My oppinion on that: First time they asked for the runway to expect, they were talking to Langen FIR and not yet approach, so a center controller can simply not tell you which runway you can expect besides the landing direction (because Frankfurt has theoreticly 3 landing runways in that direction). Second time it was approach controller, but as you might have noticed, 25L was closed and was planned to reopen at 5 a.m. If you look to the landing time it was 05:01z so one minute after, maybe approach was trying to figure out, if 25L will be open when they arrive, that why the runway was assigned so late. I have flown into Frankfurt a couple of times by myself, so i know a bit of the way they are working there. But i agree that especially during the pandemic it is no big deal to just assign them for runway 25C, as traffic situation is low right now.
Whenever a German airport is mentioned, it's generally always Frankfurt, as if there was no other airports in the country, Berlin always seems to take a backseat ... minding its own business, no doubt 😁
@Top News DE That's correct sir. In the Langen FIR it's handled like following: EDGG_DKB_CTR (Dinkelsbuehl) for example clears you for the STAR into Frankfurt. In this Video you can hear, that there is no Frankfurt Director. So it's a socalled staggered operation in Frankfurt (the planes need to be separated to each other, other than on an independent parallel app.). So FAS (Frankfurt arrival south, or simply "Langen Radar") will give you the specific RWY what to expect. That's why the previous controller just said the STAR and thereafter expect RWY 25 (so not specified yet). Hope I could help.
Ohh my goddess
👍
Hello how are you from turkey meet you
Wow, this workload is impressive! Ladies, I'd like to fly with you!
One hundred......check..!
👍🏻
No expense was spared on the captains headset.. jk. One would think the airline could provide at least a Telex...
I was the 321st like lol
You should play those numbers on the lottery!
I learned something (I think this is right): (3) stripes = Senior First Officer. Therefore, (2) stripes = First Officer.
In most cases 3 stripes is F.O. while 3 stripes AND a star is Sr. F.O.
4 stripes for Captain, 4 stripes and a star for Sr. Captain
Perhaps an airline uses that system however from the nearly 300 airlines we filmed I've never seen 3 stripes and a star. 4 stripes and a star is for Chief Pilots
Different airlines use different methods. Some airline don't have the 2 stripes at all and I've even seen an airline with 1 stripe...
@@justplanes
Well then I stand corrected. Thanks for the clarification :)
@@justplanes No, I've never seen '3 stripes and a star', I have seen '4 stripes and a star' (training captain).
I want to fly plane as passenger but afraid of turbulent 😢
I used to enjoy watching your programs but I will discontinue if your cameraman insist upon having the camera light on at night or if the overhead cockpit lights are on. For me it ruins the feel of what it is like at night in the cockpit.
Did you miss out on your cornflakes that morning?
Two women pilots! How lucky those passengers are. ❤❤
I want to become a airline captain
👍👍
So many people want to become pilots, we see it here endlessly. I think many wannabee pilots are unaware of the gruelling training and high education standards that are required (there's more to it than just engaging autopilot). Unfortunately, most people who set out on this 'dream' , eventually fall by the wayside. However, you can only but try. 👍
I become pilot
👨🏻✈️👍
Thanks 😊
Please replay
You can play the video after it’s premiere on Saturday

For an international airport, (FF) their ATIS words to voice program, (sounds worse than windows) is shocking. Too much slurring. Great to see a diverse team flying the plane. I see more female pilots flying for middle eastern airlines than I do western!
Its terrible indeed.. they should just have someone record it...
Yes it's somewhat ironic that the Middle East has more women pilots than the western world, when you take into account the attitude and culture of the Middle East towards women in general. 👨✈️👨✈️👨✈️
cabin blue :D
chakchackchackchackchackachac hahahah
Not very impressed with the two air traffic controllers. I think it was approach or center then obviously Tower. The first one didn't specify left centre or right at least two times after being asked. It is understood that you need to answer with the letter when there's more than one Runway facing the same way. Later the tower controller should have understood that they were looking for an exit letter but all he said was exit to the right. These modern airplanes have a map of the airport under this place so they could have exited at the best exit most convenient to their gate. Assuming of course they're not trying to get them Off The Runway due to approaching aircraft.
Yes have to agree with you... pilots are tired of an overnight flight, you would expect the approach to give them the actual runway so they can prepare and not guess... and considering the traffic is light these days there was no reason to keep them guessing till the last minute...
This Airbus does Not have the map of the Airport
@@D4rthDuck I believe you're right. But I knew I saw it somewhere. At 6:35, she has one on her tablet. If she had received a recommended exit it would have helped her, airport operations or ATC. Not a big deal, but still a deal.
looks like not the most organized of cockpits....
The incandescent book ethnopharmacologically contain because sharon concurrently whip given a aboard blow. whimsical, thundering railway
verbiage very weird...too much talk during a visual approach for gods sake. I would go crazy working with such useless workload. Hundreds of unnecessary checks...
