Excellent tempo! This is musique royale (not to be confused with Mickey Mouse)! There is a "recording" of Gigout himself on a Welte-Organ in the stairwell of the Britannic (Sister-Ship of Titanic). He plays much quicker, but in my opinion adapted to the small room.
I wonder whether it even could be played quicker, given the action of this organ? I certainly couldn't! It isn't an easy piece anyway, at least not for an amateur like me. 🙂

Alana, you played through as the epitome of a seasoned professional and I so admire your tempo, drive, and passion. Brilliant is all I can say... just brilliant.
Nice to see the exuberance of a student mastering a piece like that. Sometimes in recitals the performer becomes so perfect at the piece that he or she loses that sense of almost being overwhelmed by it, which I dislike. You can almost see how her breath is taken away by the finale..very special!

Christopher Born if you look in to the histry of this organ you will find it is not a tracker organ as such it built useing barker levers so evan if you had it all cupled to gether it would not be that heavy to play , its a early form of pnumatic assitance regards andrew
Thanks for the information! I will look more into that. I was operating under an incorrect assumption.
