I think that artist made two different brothers for Swapfell Sans. Or, that his Papyrus has two different Personalities.
They're named Pup and Rex in a past video recently.

no, the melting happens when a monster gets ahold of too much determination, shown by the creatures in the true lab and Undyne’s death in the neutral route
