Just played halo reach for 5 hours this evening. Still just as amazing as it was back when this vid was released.
You edited the ending from another game so that it showed you winning ;)

I like how the UNSC starts at a hanger where the only way to the base is an aircraft. I wonder if it would be possible to make something like Star Wars Battlefront 2 space battles... That would be awesome.
Imagine this but with 16vs16. You can control pelicans and drop off tanks. You could find broken pieces to try and repair a broken scarab off on the beach to overwhelm the enemy. Plus of course everything already there. This would be incredible:x

Imagine combining Warzone and Invasion into a new game-type that was at least 10v10. Amazing.

awesome i love the part where the guy on fire jumps out of the mongoose and runs through the fry and almost captures that objective. it was an amazing action shot!

Wow now this is what I call a real invasion. I love the whole flying to the island thing. Much more better than the maps Bungie has chosen for defaults. Maybe you should submit this.

I was inspired by this map to make a 2 vs. 2 slayer version... In the 'hanger' I put two Banshees, one Falcon, and spawning points for the blue team. At the island below I put together a little outpost tower against some trees (to provide some cover) consisting of several types of 'buildings' with some spawning points for the red team. I also placed a rocket launcher, spartan laser, and shotgun around the tower. And lastly I put a shade turret at the top of the tower... : )

My brother and I just made an invasion map where the elites are on offense, and one of them spawns in a prison cell, and his team mates have to blow up the cell (the prisoner lives), then use another bomb to blow up one of the walls of the prison, and proceed to the rock and capture the territory
Lots of people make maps, but not a lot are as set up this efficiently. I mean the whole fact that the falcons have to come in, kill enemies, get the bomb and blow shit up. It's better than most. :)
The beginning your teammate lasers the banshee, killing himself in the process so you can take the post. I'm actually sure he didn't mean to do that
By the way i'm getting halo reach and is invasion a game type you need all map packs for??

The elites seem to be dominating the map, and the spartans must be really good if they can get the core to the falcon. all the elites are camping at the core, and the spartans spawns all the way across forgeworld, so the time will be running out really quick. And it must be really boring to fly the falcons all the way over to the island, just to be shot down by a turret...

Would anyone recommend downloading the reach DLC because i am bored with just 2 invasion maps but me and my friends could never make any good maps like this

AHRF Mini Review: Good concept for Invasion, I like the overall design of the map. However, (And I realize this map is almost a year old) I do find the aesthetics to be very plain, and that there is little creativity in the forging itself. It's all very generic, as much of the map is pre-made structures. Even so, i find the map inspiring, and very good for a map made this early in the game. Overall 7/10.
