The Beatles - You Really Got A Hold On Me (from the 1969 Savile Row Sessions)

The new "Let It Be" boxset is right around the corner however a disappointment for me was the lack of this gem: a chilled yet heartfelt cover of "You Really Got a Hold On Me". Taken from "A/B Road Complete Get Back Sessions" this was performed at Savile Row on January 26th, 1969 and was used the original "Let It Be" movie.
The part where this song was used hit a chord with me as the Beatles, at this point, seemed desperate and melancholic over the tension between them however they still, as tired as they were, bonded together and jammed to this old Smokey Robinson song which the lads had released a cover of on their second album, With The Beatles.
