I watched every minute of this! So don’t ever think it’s too long!! Those of us that LOVE your voice and style will hang on every second! I have never been into dark and moody, until you came along! I’d love to get back up to hickory again, and I’ll visit the booth- I worked in hickory with Bayada nurses and loved it- I lived in granite falls and MISS IT so bad
SAME, SAME Kathy, I Love your videos and watch all the way to the end girl! Dark and Moody can def be an acquired taste, glad you are loving some. You inspire me too..someday soon we need to meet up and junk together. If you EVER plan a trip to Hickory/Granite let me know I am on that wagon..loved your last video. I need to go comment on it right now..I get busy and forget.
@CozyJunkStudio i agree, the video isn't toooo long. You're the best artist/crafter I've seen on YT. Your art is high quality. Seriously. Thank you for sharing your creativity with the world.
Thank you so so so very much for your encouragement, I felt like you was talking directly to me. I have soooooo much stuff, and even tho I have 90% of it organized, I have just been overwhelmed and can't seem to get started. Thank you
You are so welcome! and I was talking to you!!! So much of what I said applies to all of us creators and thrifters, we definitely have our highs, lows, and overwhelming moments! I talk more about this in episode 3 which will be out this week. Thank you for watching and the comment!
The "flimsy" towels look like flour sack dish towels. They are exceptional for drying glasses! They are the only kind I knew growing up in 60s. I still have at least one that my mom embroidered when she was a child in the 30s. They also would be good for stamping words on for embellishments as they are a little thinner than drop cloth
They are my favorite kitchen towels! Best dish towels for drying , they bleach sparkling clean. Cheap Cotten …….i love them. To each his own, obviously. Your work is lovely.
I love the fact that you are a nurse, so am I. Just started crafting during Covid, it’s a wonderful stress reliever. Only so many things you can keep or give away though so I hope to try my hand at selling. Your projects are inspirational, ty ❤
I’m new, this is the 2nd video I’ve viewed of yours. I did stay until the end because I love numbers. Loved all of your creative pieces especially the frames, I have frames-LOTS of frames. I smiled big because of your encouraging pep talk. I want to RUclips but planning and follow through are my weaknesses. I’ve been a booth owner for about 5 years and I have never made as much money as you spoke of. I have lost A LOT of money with this hobby, it truly has been a social experiment for me and my therapist suggested it as a way to get me out of isolation so in that aspect it has been worth it. Thank you for sharing your gift and craft and thank you for the much needed encouragement. ❤
Sounds like using it for therapy has been beneficial so maybe you haven't lost as much as it feels like. You are so welcome for the pep talk and you all inspire me too! Take care!
You are so welcome! Absolutely go for it and don't look back, the fun ahead is amazing! I am obsessed with creating, selling, and thrifting....it makes life a blast!
You are a younger version of me😂I just subscribed to your channel, just found RUclips I have been doing this for about 40 years. I love seeing your ideas. It inspires me and recharged me into branching out again , after losing my j husband to the cursed Covid, 3 years this month. Thank you! I’m a Sharon as well😊
Hello Sharon!! YAY! WELCOME. Yes, get inspired, your alls comments inspire me too! So sorry about your husband, we almost lost my dad to Covid. Thank you for commenting and watching. Enjoy creating!
I love that last cloche! Really cute idea's Sharon. And I so appreciate you actually going through your profits with your booth & perfect timing for me. I work full time & it's great that you are sharing the realities of what it takes to not only create & source your items but also how much time it takes to maintain your booth. This may not be viable for me yet ( as I inquired just yesterday at a place & they start at $200 & take 16% ) but I'll keep watching as I love your creativity & your positivity and encouragement!!!!. Again really appreciate you Sharon taking the time to share all this with your audience.
You are so very welcome! Remember you don't need a booth, you can always ask them if they have a shelf or hutch you can rent. I started out in a hutch for $60 a month! Thank you so very much for your wonderful comment.
@@CozyJunkStudio Yes there's another place I looked at a few years ago & they started at $98 for their glass cases(have no idea if they have shelves or cases)but again thank you for the advise as I wouldn't of known to even inquire about something that small. Appreciate your feedback!!
Right, in Colorado, these are everywhere, but the starting prices are crazy insane! We have the Armadillo Antique mall which is the size of a Walmart and then we have small places that just say Antique! I have purchased so many of my favorite pieces of art and furniture from one in Northglenn, Colorado on Melody drive. I know that if I go in there, I am leaving with something! LOL 😆
@@YayasWhimsicalBrush Yes it was the Brass Armadillo Antique mall & it's kind of big (& not in the best area) that the glass cases are in that charged $98. That was in 2019 so probably has gone up. That's where I first started buying DIY paint. But I like Sharon's idea of seeing if you can just rent a shelf or hutch as I too never thought of that & I don't have much more than that right now anyway.
I love that you wanted to use your fabric glue since it was old and needed to be used up first before pulling out the modpodge LOL!! That is so me!! I don’t like to waste anything! I love all of your crafts and your commentaries. You are so relatable! Keep ‘em coming 😊
I am also new to your channel. I loved everything you made. I'm mostly into paper crafting and small wooden Christmas ornaments. I only set up at craft shows. Since I retired a year ago, I have more time to work at my crafts, and hope to make a little extra for retirement.
WELCOME!!! I love paper crafting and want to do more on this channel some day. It is wonderful that you have time to work on crafts. Enjoy it! and yes sell them and give yourself a raise!!!
You should keep doing the flour towels. They become a favorite in all kitchens as well as holiday decor for baskets tree wraps drapping in pot baskets crocks. I use them constantly. I've made many for Years in this old country farm. I have 2 aunts who want my old ones when I make new ones. Lol so at Christmas I make them some. I also have cut them in half to make 2 kitchen towels from one wash them first before making 2 from one flour towels you'll double your proof since a set is still beloved by shoppers. Keep doing great videos. Hugs from NC
Great idea about making two towels and yes, you are right those towels sold right away! So of course I have been making more because they are so easy, thank you so much! Love that you are from NC too!
Loved your video. Thanks for the cloche ideas and candle making. I was interested in both of these and your video was perfect. I watched all your video and appreciate so much the details of your booth and sales!!!
I watched every single minute of it! I love to watch your videos,i have a full time 40 + hour a week job and love to craft but dont have alot of free time to make stuff and when i do i have no idea how to sell it!?! But listening to you is giving me some ideas thank you so much have a good evening 😊 Cant wait till your next video! OMG, the little sewing machine cloche was so adorable if i was up there and not in Tennessee id so buy it ❤❤❤
That is wonderful, so happy you are getting inspired and ideas. I love to get inspired from other people too. You can do it, take it one day at a time and before you know it you will have a whole lot of things to sell. Thank you for watching the whole video, that is inspiration for me to keep going!
Thank so much for your transparency in all this. It's hard to watch videos sometimes where people just vaguely say, "make this and you can sell it, blah blah blah" but like how much? Where? etc. So this was nice to see. I really like longer videos like this that break stuff down and explain it all! Thanks :)
Wonderful, I worry about making longer videos, it is nice to hear that you like them. You are very welcome for the information these videos have inspired me and encouraged me as well!!!
Everything looks wonderful. Another note to put on the candles is something about not burning the candle all the way down as hot glass will break. (make sure the wick is perfect center as it will burn straight down from where it is set) Love all of your information, Thank you!
Love all the ideas for making and filling cloches. Thank you for a peak at your booth and the pricing/profit info. I would like to get a booth of my own, and your comments about starting small and just doing it was very encouraging. Thanks again.
Finally! I'm so excited to find a talented crafter that both shares her DIYs and gives us a glimpse of real-world pricing, ending with taking us to her booth. I can't tell you how much I appreciate seeing the full circle of creating to selling. I am an avid crafter, and what I don't keep for my home, I happily give away. People ask me all the time, why don't you sell your crafts? I don't know is the honest answer. I think about it from time to time, and who knows if I ever will. But I love that I found a rare gem in you, somebody who loves crafting and is willing to share their process from making to selling. So fun to see and watch. You have a new subscriber! Thank you. Jen from Las Vegas. PS (It's not all sin in this beautiful city.)
WELCOME!!! So happy you are here! Thank you so much for the wonderful comment! This comment is why I do this...thank you for watching and sharing! Girl I love Vegas! It is beautiful, magical and wonderful, can't wait to visit again!!!
Oh you have become my favorite creator! You are so inspiring and creative! I adore all your projects and always look forward to your next video! The info you provided is so inspiring and encouraging. Thank you for taking the time to give us this valuable information. You make me laugh and I live watching you create. Your style is so my style and I will definitely be trying a lot of your projects! Thank you so much for sharing your talent and your knowledge! You are amazing!!
I think you are so informational. I am looking forward to opening a store front I am getting ready to move to Indiana we just bought a house up there and I ran into some health issues so am on hold a minute but when able we are moving and I am doing all of my creations and getting ready to sell all my stuff. I love your stuff ❤❤❤❤ of course I stayed to the end. 😂 I am a junker!!👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much. I understand things can be overwhelming even though we want to do them. I encourage you to start small and sell items to friends or family or get a shelf at a Vendor Mall and sell your items. Hope this helps!
I am a new sub and I appreciate you! 😂😅😂 So funny, at 45 min in, just after you show us the basket tree, and then you tell us that you hang wall on this art! You say, "I hang wall on this art." I laughed so hard, you didn't even realize you said it and just kept going! 😂😂😂😅
WELCOME!!! Yes girl..my words come out backwards all the time...I just laugh and embrace it! Thank you for watching, commenting and laughing!!! Love this.
Sometimes I feel like my brain and my mouth can't catch up with each other. I'm from GA so when I get really excited my Southern completely goes wild!! I love your videos so much!!
Long time crafter/DIYER. I have always loved repurposing items. I finally rented a booth at an Antique Mall 4 mo. ago and it has been a little challenging to get it set up in my small space. I also work at an Antique Mall in another town.. LOL! So it has helped me to see what is selling. Yes, framed art sells well here also. I love that I can also have a mix of altered and vintage items. I love to make signs and sew pillows and bowl fillers. Something for everyone, small to big is always good to have. TYFS I love all your ideas very similar to my taste. I wish I had your profit numbers!! But hopefully I'll get there. Any advice on advertising to get traffic in. I have FB page but don't know how to get it seen. Great Job on your booth and your channel!! 🤍🖤🤍🖤
Yay!! So glad you finally rented a booth! I will list items for sell on Facebook Marketplace that are in my booth and also promote my booth through the photos of that specific item as well as the description box and if they want the item to go purchase it from my booth. Hope this helps!
Hi Sharon, you're candles "shrink" because you are pouring the wax to hot. Cool your wax to 135 F before pouring. That should help. Love your channel!!❤
You got my attention quickly! You made great projects with items I have collected and made things already, then didn’t know what to do with them after the season! I love old dishes, tea cups and frames! So this one video hit the spot! The cloche items made my heart and mind sing! I used to do vendor shows but age and health has made it difficult, so thinking about a booth is intriguing! I love display and possibly I could partner with someone! My daughter is doing e-bay and I am looking at other similar platforms! I am an artist and craftsman that has sold well if I can get my items out there! Thanks for the business breakdown! Blessed and safe fall days!
Yay!! So glad you found this video helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your creative journey with me. Yes, keep going and having a booth gives you a platform to sell your creations without being there or setting up and tearing down all the time. Enjoy!
Btw, I really appreciate the transparency on your booth profits....I have a small showcase right now of smalls that I have upcycled/made, but I'm on the fence about getting a larger booth. It is over twice as much "rent" and I'm concerned about making enough for it to be sustainable. You've given a lot of good information! Thank you!
I always remember I can't make enough items to fill my booth so I need to have other things and smalls, smalls, smalls, my paper items and junk packs pay my rent! You are very welcome!
Well, don't I feel silly!? In another video I asked you questions related to the marketing and selling of your gorgeous creations while all my answers lie here. It proves I haven't watched all your videos, but it's also a testament to how impressive you are; instantly I fell in love and couldn't keep it together. All that to say thank you.
Love your ideals. I use a double boiler with hot water to melt my candles it works great also. I melt down candles that have scents. Love everything you made ❤
Love everything about this video. It did not disappoint. All these projects were extremely creative but doable for the average crafter. Thank you for sharing the business side of things as well.
I just wanted to say thank you!! You have inspired me to find a way to get my crafted items out there. I’m looking for a booth to rent and can’t wait to give this a try!! Craft fairs are just too hard with not enough bang for my buck and effort.
Yay! I totally agree, find somewhere that you can just drop your creations off at and let someone else finish the sale! You are so welcome and I am so happy you are getting out there with your creations...keep going!!
Oh my gosh, so much to say....I watched it all....loved the projects you made! The sewing maching, the green rose, the dark and moody with Edgar Allen Poe, be still my heart. You are so creative, I just love your stuff. The canvas prints from Temu are wonderful, I have looked at them many times but havent bought them. I really appreciate you giving all the info on your booth. Maybe someday I may get to that point 😊. Thank you thank you thank you for your time and creativeness. 😇🙏
WOW!! YOUR RENT IS SOO REASONABLE!! Mine was that price for a 5x8,plus 10%.. i stayed 2years and needed some rethinking because it was fun but not really.. Your information is SO INSPIRING ❤ THANK YOU I AM SHOCKED BY YOUR COACHING SKILLS,,YOU ARE THE BEST MOTIVATOR🐦🌷
Do it! We all need crafts, pretty things, and people to buy them from. I buy people's creations too! Don't be scared, if you making something and you don't like it, or afraid someone else may not like, put a price tag on it and see if it sells. If it don't, know worries, donate it, give it away or re-do it into something new! Thank you for the comment!
you have such great information, and great inspiration! I'm a relative newbie at all this, and just now trying to get my feet wet in this small business idea, and I love all these tips and tricks! Thank you for sharing!
WELCOME!! So happy you are here! and you are so welcome. I am so glad this was informative. Good luck and keep going it is work, but fun work! I enjoy it so much!
Came across channel today. Enjoyed watching several, yes several, of your videos today. Had to get shot in ankle this am so I hoped in recliner, put foot up on pillow& grab heating pad. No popcorn though☹️. Then binged. Thanks!
Hey Girl! WOW... I can't believe how you keep creating beautiful item after beautiful item. I don't work but I seem to create better during late night/ early morning hours too. So happy for you that your booth is doing well and people appreciate your creative talent. I see why they live your items. I'm looking forward to part 3 of this series. Until then take care 😊 And, yes, I stayed until the very end!! Was sad when it was over 😢
I found your video today and started writing during your candle segment, before I finished watching. From what I understand about candle pouring, you need to melt the wax very slowly on low to prevent the sinking effect. I’m not sure why that causes it, but maybe something to try next time. The information you shared about your booth was very informative. Thank you. I REALLY need to be more motivated to work on product for my booth but sometimes it feels overwhelming and I tend to overthink things too long. 😂
WELCOME!!! Thank you so much for the information, this is why I love the comment section. I too am learning everyday while creating and to have knowledge from other creators is wonderful! You are so right, motivation is key to creating and I too struggle with motivation sometimes. It is comments like these that motivate and inspire me to keep going. Thank you again!
I wish last year when my daughter was still playing travel softball that direction I could have stopped !! She has aged out now and I don't travel that way as much unless my son has a high school fishing tournament that way ... Thanks for all you have shown and helped with !! I have thought about a booth for so long but I am afraid of nothing selling. Waynesville NC here ! ❤
I really enjoyed this video and watched it to the very end. I am planning to have this type of business in my retirement, which will happen in about five years. I am saving up crafting supplies and found items. It was really great to hear about your profits and you had some wonderful tips from this type of business, keep it up!
I'm new here. Opening up a brick and mortar store this week. Eek! I paint furniture but I'm renting out shelves to local, Eco-friendly crafters. This may flop but I got some good ideas today. Thanks!
WELCOME!!! So happy you are here! Congratulations! Promote your business, constantly rearrange things, add new things here and there, buy/invest in one of a kind large eye catching pieces that you may never sell but people are drawn in to look at, , have plenty of small items to help pay the bills and you will be successful! Wishing you luck! Thank you for commenting and watching.
You gave so much inspiration. Ty. I've been looking at those prints on temu thinking about giving them as Christmas presents. So glad I found ur channel. I've been watching all ur videos ur style is right up my alley.
I am just getting to the comments and I have answer 3 of yours in the same day, thank you so much for always showing up in the comments! You are awesome!
Great video as usual! I have a tip on stamping on fabric. To achieve a bolder, crisper ink impression. Don’t remove the stamp too quick. Leave it set longer so the fabric can absorb the ink.
I watched every minute of this! So don’t ever think it’s too long!! Those of us that LOVE your voice and style will hang on every second! I have never been into dark and moody, until you came along!

Thank you for your uplifting advice and support on how to get started!! 🎉
You are so very welcome, and thank you for watching!
You are certainly inspiring. I wish I had the nerve to do what you do, but I just do stuff for myself.
You say, "I hang wall on this art."
I laughed so hard, you didn't even realize you said it and just kept going! 😂😂😂😅
@@charmingAmy 😆 😂 😆 😂
Thanks for the tip! This is why I love the comment section and thank you for watching!
Thanks for sharing your experience and projects with us! This is very interesting. I appreciate you very much.
Thank you so much!
Enjoy!
Your booth looks very inviting, I would definitely be motivated to explore it!
Yay! Thank you so much!
❤ all your videos and creations
Thank you!
Not at all, not everyone has seen my videos and I am happy to answer any questions. Thank you so very much for your wonderful comment!
Love your ideals. I use a double boiler with hot water to melt my candles it works great also. I melt down candles that have scents. Love everything you made ❤
Thank you so much, yes I need a double boiler..seems like I used to have one, great idea!
I’m glad I stayed till the end! Tons of great advice for vendors! ❤❤
Thank you so much and thank you for watching!
I had to re-watch this one again. ❤🖤
Wow, thank you!
Love everything about this video. It did not disappoint. All these projects were extremely creative but doable for the average crafter. Thank you for sharing the business side of things as well.
You are so welcome! Thank you for commenting and watching!
Really like that fabric!!!
Thank you!
Hey Tomasine, thank you so much, as usual your comment is so encouraging! Thank you for watching and always being present in the comments.
WOW!! YOUR RENT IS SOO REASONABLE!! Mine was that price for a 5x8,plus 10%..
i stayed 2years and needed some rethinking because it was fun but not really..
Your information is SO INSPIRING ❤
THANK YOU
I AM SHOCKED BY YOUR COACHING SKILLS,,YOU ARE THE BEST MOTIVATOR🐦🌷
Oh wow! Thank you so very much for the wonderful comment!
I love how much your sharing! Font worry about length!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video!! It was a little confidence booster!! I have a hard time stepping out and trying to sell my things!
Thanks for being so transparent. Loved watching and I am a new subscriber.
You are a sweet breath of positive and fresh air, tysm 🫶🏻
You are so welcome and thank you so very much for watching and commenting!

Thanks!
WELCOME!! So happy you are here. Oh no, I hope your ankle is getting better! I love binging DIY videos too!
Hey Girl!
Was sad when it was over 😢
Hey Terri! I get sad at the end of my fave RUclipsrs too Thank you so very much for always being present
Wonderful items and lots of great information!!! And thanks for the encouragement too, I really want to move ahead with my DIY goals.
You can do it! and thank you for watching!
HELLO Neighbor! Thank you for watching and it will sell, don't doubt yourself!
I really enjoyed this video and watched it to the very end. I am planning to have this type of business in my retirement, which will happen in about five years. I am saving up crafting supplies and found items. It was really great to hear about your profits and you had some wonderful tips from this type of business, keep it up!
Wonderful! Thank you and good luck. This type of business is a lot of fun!
Such wonderful information!!! Looking forward to watching more from you!!

Great tip! Thank you!
This is awesome. Your booth is beautiful.
Thank you so much!
Love 💕 your booth
Thank you so much!
Another round of great projects! I'm drawn to ravens because of Poe!! I'd have to put all that data into an Excel spreadsheet 😂. TYFS 🥰
Poe is my spirit animal...lol. He's is moody and so am I. He loved dark things and so do I. Thank you Rhonda for the comment.

Great video, tons of great ideas, as always. Thank you for the inspirations!
Thank you for the comment, you are so welcome!
Great video as usual! I have a tip on stamping on fabric. To achieve a bolder, crisper ink impression. Don’t remove the stamp too quick. Leave it set longer so the fabric can absorb the ink.
Great tip! Thank you so much!
Very inspiring!! Thank you!❤
Loved this video! Stayed until the end!
