Awesome flock! I wish I could get my hands on Damara in the US. I’m not a fan of the fat tail, but I love the colors they can come in. And the hardiness. Do they damage your bamboo? I’m trying to grow some bamboo for shade, I’m in my second year and still not doing well thanks to the rabbits. Bamboo is such an awesome plant it’s a shame so many people hate it.
Hi, thanks for the comment. Our bamboo is well established and is about 10meters tall. The sheep eat the chutes as they pop out of the ground and on the lower areas that they can reach. They do a really great job actually of keeping the bamboo where we want it. Although I can imagine it would be a struggle if all of the plants were in reach of them. Thanks.
