Thanks for sharing your experience as volunteer in Paris 2024. All this reminds me the time when one of my dreams came true: volunteering in the Olympics. I had the big chance and honor of being a volunteer in Rio 2016. It was such a fantastic experience in my life that I'd love to repeat it in L.A. 2028 (Hopefully). ¡Hola! Oh wow, I would have LOVED to have been a volunteer at Rio 2016 - it looked like so much fun! This was my second Olympics (I did London 2012) and both times have been an amazing experience. It's difficult to explain just how incredible it is to people who have never done it. Only other Olympic volunteers truly understand! 🙂 It would be such a privilege to volunteer at Los Angeles 2024. I hope we both get the opportunity to do so. If you see me in LA in four years time, please say hello! 🙂

I think I'm the only Brit in the village! 🙂We can normally get everything we need in Tende - in addition to a small supermarket, we buy all our fruit and vegetables from the market on Wednesday, bread from the local bakery, and meat from the butcher. We even have a lovely lady (Valerie) who sells fresh goat cheese Saturday during the summer! Occasionally we stock up on a few things in Italy, where the prices are definitely cheaper. Do you live nearby?

For the Sochi 2014 games (I applied but wasn't accepted), there was a Skype interview. For Paris 2024, there was no interview at all.
