thanks for this video. i wonder though, at time 14:01 ish you mention lower freq. travels further. although that is correct, crsf doesnt change freq. it only changes power and mode. or am i missing something?

Hi, thanks for the kind words. This statement is referring to crsf being a lower frequency than FrSky or similar - 915MHz vs 2.4GHz
Crsf does indeed make changes to power level, and it does make changes to the mode that it operates in (150Hz and 50Hz, and then in an emergency mode it’s 4Hz I believe).

Is it possible to get the output power on beta flight osd?

It should be if your FC is supported. I have a Radix FC that outputs TX power as part of its Crossfire OSD icon.

Are there still known dead duck issues on KISS 4in1? I was getting them on 121a beep but not on 121z voice. Haven't tested extensively on the new fw but it seemed to happen on sharp tricks (like rubiks cubes & spring rolls). I flamed an old reliable kiss 4in1 and now had this issue. Should I just switch to FETtec?

I've never experienced a dead-duck issue on any of my KISS products. FETTEC is a great product, and will probably eventually replace KISS.
