While I still loved the REmake of RE2, I still feel that the original is a better made game given the time and technology that the team had to work with. It still holds up with everything barring graphics to this day, and even they still hold a sort of PS1 charm that cannot be replicated now.
@@Blackreapxr I'm new to the resident evil franchise and I have to say that, while the remake is superior to the original regarding visuals and gameplay, it is not in story. The A and B scenarios are mostly the same and the Leon and Clare storylines contradict with each other. In the original game the a/b scenarios had different bosses and storylines.

Another reason to play the original may be the fixed camera too, I know some people say it’s inferior and fixed camera was a technical limitation, but if you play REmake 1 you can see how fixed camera works effectively to add atmosphere

The number of times you fight a boss. Like G1 has 100% and he is fought 1 time, Mr.X has 700% and he is fought 7 times, well 6 one of them doesn't count.

When i was a kid i was only afraid of zombies because of the first zombie cutscene in RE1. I saw G5 and it didn't scare me, i see a zombie i run away eh.
Damn! Lol i just starred at it and i was mhe, that one zombie from RE1 scarred me so much that when i saw other horror games like silent hill it didn't scare me, and only zombies from RE1 could scare me others from other games not.
Who is fond of the series i recommend to play Resident Evil Mortal Night; beautiful mod singleplayer and standalone that puts us in the role of Hunk for a total of 4 hours unpublished between gameplay and innovative game mechanics. An unmissable must ;D

I love the remake. (Just got platinum yesterday) I play it non stop just like I did with Resident Evil 4. But I wish they would’ve kept the boss fights according to the scenarios. An example is that it’s weird fighting G3 birkin in the second scenario, even though Claire had already been through the laboratory and collected the vaccine for Sherry, hence commencing the boss fight after she left the lab if you used her for the first run. Or vise versa. But it doesn’t detract anything from the game.

Well there is alot of things missing, the version that was leaked isn't actually the one furthest in development because in the trailers the final form or fourth form of birkin appears and there is also voice acting. Altough the people making the 1.5 more playable could just improvise.
Before RE 4, it was quite a bit emotional scene when Ada "Dies". Although the black Silhouette of Ada back then throwing a Rocket Launcher was supposed to be ambiguous, like "Did she really survive". Then in RE4 Ada did indeed survive

RE2 was the first in the franchise I remember playing. I wasn't scared of the zombies (unless those fixed angles stopped me from seeing them), I wasn't afraid of the dogs, crows or even the giant sewer gator. What made me pause the game and run in terror was the damn giant spiders and tyrants. Me and Claire share fear of spiders and had my cousin warned me about that his control would still be working that day. Oh and Mr. X, Nemesis's precursor also made me kinda claustrophobic.
Now imagine that in the remake! *shudders* Naw man I had to tell my nephew that if he acts bad Nemesis will get him I told him about his legend and he behaves silently in fear now!
The trenchcoats that tyrants wear act as a power limiter so that they don't mutate when they take to much damage, when the tyrant fell in to the lava the coat burned off and with the damage it was taking from the lava made him mutate into the super tyrant.
Resident Evil Survivor didn't look that bad in first person view. Wish they used the Resident Evil 3.5 camera in some game, it was a mixture of fixed camera angles and over the shoulder....
I remember this death scene leaving such an impact on me, cuz I did Leon A, Claire B, Claire A, and Leon B in this order...my SHOCK on the Rocket Launcher drop moment as I was ??? in Claire B but !!! in Leon B. Such a great game.

William only appears in the B route, the monster you found is from A route which is the route you are playing.

Me and Claire share fear of spiders and had my cousin warned me about that his control would still be working that day. Oh and Mr. X, Nemesis's precursor also made me kinda claustrophobic.
Honestly the spiders are the least threatning enemy in the game for me ahah...

i dont understand how does a tyrant that fell in lava become super?...
The trenchcoats that tyrants wear act as a power limiter so that they don't mutate when they take to much damage, when the tyrant fell in to the lava the coat burned off and with the damage it was taking from the lava made him mutate into the super tyrant.
is it me or is the building structure in parts of RE2 similar to RE0?

In the concept art there where some designs that had him carry weapons, machine guns i think, só there is that.....

By just googling Resident Evil 1.5 iso, there is a bunch of websites to download it, you need a PSX emulator for it.
There are people making it more playable, but i don't know how updated it is right now, but when i playd it was playable.
