While I still loved the REmake of RE2, I still feel that the original is a better made game given the time and technology that the team had to work with. It still holds up with everything barring graphics to this day, and even they still hold a sort of PS1 charm that cannot be replicated now.

The A and B scenarios are mostly the same and the Leon and Clare storylines contradict with each other. In the original game the a/b scenarios had different bosses and storylines.

Another reason to play the original may be the fixed camera too, I know some people say it’s inferior and fixed camera was a technical limitation, but if you play REmake 1 you can see how fixed camera works effectively to add atmosphere

When i was a kid i was only afraid of zombies because of the first zombie cutscene in RE1. I saw G5 and it didn't scare me, i see a zombie i run away eh.
Damn! Lol i just starred at it and i was mhe, that one zombie from RE1 scarred me so much that when i saw other horror games like silent hill it didn't scare me, and only zombies from RE1 could scare me others from other games not.
And now its on 50000...lol. This is a placeholder until i finish the game in Hard/Nightmare mode, now i kinda feel bad that i have to take this down some day eh.
The number of times you fight a boss. Like G1 has 100% and he is fought 1 time, Mr.X has 700% and he is fought 7 times, well 6 one of them doesn't count.
In this game it actually looks like ada painfully “died” but in the other one it just looks like she could of got up at that moment but in this one leon kisses her and in the other she kisses him
The remake is AWESOME!! I didn’t get a chance to play the original so this is great for me and if you pre-ordered you got the original sound and outfits for characters I couldn’t ask for anything more!😆

I love the remake. (Just got platinum yesterday) I play it non stop just like I did with Resident Evil 4. But I wish they would’ve kept the boss fights according to the scenarios. An example is that it’s weird fighting G3 birkin in the second scenario, even though Claire had already been through the laboratory and collected the vaccine for Sherry, hence commencing the boss fight after she left the lab if you used her for the first run. Or vise versa. But it doesn’t detract anything from the game.
This was my first RE game. Is it ok if this game still creeps me out? Even though I am almost 30? I still feel uneasy every time play this game or any other RE games. LOL!! :)
Before RE 4, it was quite a bit emotional scene when Ada "Dies". Although the black Silhouette of Ada back then throwing a Rocket Launcher was supposed to be ambiguous, like "Did she really survive". Then in RE4 Ada did indeed survive
Resident Evil Survivor didn't look that bad in first person view. Wish they used the Resident Evil 3.5 camera in some game, it was a mixture of fixed camera angles and over the shoulder....
If you do this some ammo appears but i don't remember where, it also make the alligator appear with the next character and this time he dies no matter which way he is fought.
I remember this death scene leaving such an impact on me, cuz I did Leon A, Claire B, Claire A, and Leon B in this order...my SHOCK on the Rocket Launcher drop moment as I was ??? in Claire B but !!! in Leon B. Such a great game.
I'm 27 now. N I grew up playing this game. RE2 was the 1st game my dad bought with the ps1. So much fun. Btw you can kill the gator with one bullet lol.
RE2 was the first in the franchise I remember playing. I wasn't scared of the zombies (unless those fixed angles stopped me from seeing them), I wasn't afraid of the dogs, crows or even the giant sewer gator. What made me pause the game and run in terror was the damn giant spiders and tyrants. Me and Claire share fear of spiders and had my cousin warned me about that his control would still be working that day. Oh and Mr. X, Nemesis's precursor also made me kinda claustrophobic.
Now imagine that in the remake! *shudders* Naw man I had to tell my nephew that if he acts bad Nemesis will get him I told him about his legend and he behaves silently in fear now!

Well there is alot of things missing, the version that was leaked isn't actually the one furthest in development because in the trailers the final form or fourth form of birkin appears and there is also voice acting. Altough the people making the 1.5 more playable could just improvise.
Yeah i never died in Claire A...until i meet G4, caught be with the bite attack a couple of times in caution and killed me right away eheh. I think G4 might actually be harder than Super Tyrant.

I wonder if there will ever be a fully completed version of Resident Evil 1.5?
Well there is alot of things missing, the version that was leaked isn't actually the one furthest in development because in the trailers the final form or fourth form of birkin appears and there is also voice acting. Altough the people making the 1.5 more playable could just improvise.

Im so confused cuz i dont know that there is more boss cuz i havent done 2nd scenario of claire and leon i only done first scenario of leon in ps1
2nd scenario bosses are the same for Claire and Leon. They are same in 1st scenario too but Claire fights in different locations than Leon.
G4 is my favorite boss... even though he's an big pain. :)
Yeah i never died in Claire A...until i meet G4, caught be with the bite attack a couple of times in caution and killed me right away eheh.
I think G4 might actually be harder than Super Tyrant.
I love how one of William Birkin's screams in 1.5 is just a stock scream at a lower pitch.

Leon woundn't know what "hold her like in re6" because that hasn't happened yet, he would look at you all weird then go to the nearest bar to drink some vodka to forget all about it.
Ok after I play the remake version of it I find the classic ending holds the best action

12:00 Fucking seemless cutscene transition my booiiiiiii
The cutscene didn't play in my game so i took it from a youtube video(i forgot to credit the guy and i don't remember the name) thats why the transition might look weird.
Is Claire available from the start or do you have to unlock her? And I didn’t know you could play as Elza!
Claire is available from the start.
Elza can only be played on the beta, unless you get a mod for her in RE2.

If they would of added RE 1.5 Birkins voice.. "Sherry.." to the finished RE2.. i think that'd of been a nice touch
It was added in Darkside Chronicles, so maybe i might be used in the remake.
