Thank you! 😊 im so glad you enjoyed it. It means alot to me , especially when I'm struggling to balance this with work and life. It makes it all worth it. More coming very soon!
😄 🤣 yeah it's a double-edged sword. I want it yes but I really don't want the pain of building and painting it. But I do want it painted.... its a triple edged sword
I don’t know what this is but the sheer level of commitment to finishing it and open loops meant I had to make it to the end. Good job wizard boy. We need to see you in more films.
Thank you! 😊🙏 I try to be a good wizard when the winds of magic let me. I never heard back from my Fast and Furious 17 casting tape, i remain hopefull however. Keep making clever content!
I can really relate. I have the same exact model sitting and waiting to be primed. The green stuff molding really got to me. I thought no one has this rare old sculpt since Balrog has had a few ones after this! Great work on yours!
While I have like 600 painting videos on my favorites in here.. I dont think any of them are fun and comedic like yours is :D Very well done had multiple laughs, shame I sold my metal Balrog back in the day. Subbed!
Thank you 😊 not this time, I'm sure knitting could be involved somewhere in the future. My partner knits, she could knit a balrog jumper while I paint one. Have a race of some kind
Paintjob is decent...but entertainment is excellent ;) I quite like the narrative style with all the little hints on what we hate about this hobby ....
Its definitely a love hate relationship! Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment 🙏 glad you enjoyed It. I aim to entertain and learn something new every time and of course share my despair, something we've all felt in the hobby and.... in life in general.
@jamescameron464 Will be holding back on zooms in the next video. Cheers for the feedback. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video other than that 😊 🙏
Great vid, enjoyed it. My thought when you asked was, how about a plastic Balrog model comparison.? Only because iv always fancied a plastic Balrog but seems very dear for a handful of parts. You might convince me the end result is worth it, though, going on how well your metal one turned out. Cracking stuff, I'll look out for your next one. And that bell has been bonged.
Thank you, I really appreciate it 🙏 That is a really cool idea, I do want one for myself and I definitely don't want to do another metal on for the time being. I'll see if I can justify getting one soon 😊
😄 🤣 only the most attractive goblins are allowed in the upper halls. Possibly Yeah, the cracks were very inconsistent, I was hoping the Ink would be easier than it was. I haven't tried a white oil wash so I should give that a go! A 🔥 tip from a 🔥 goblin.
As in the ones from the final shot with the balrog? There are some various ones in the moria style shots, mostly GW. Then in the Elven board they are from Elvrn Kingdom which Is a set you can print. Yeah they do look like that!
The amount of subscribers for such great content is actually a crime. Subbed instantly, wishing you the best, man, that mini is looking VERY good.
Thank you 😊 🙏 I really appreciate your kind comment and Sub! Makes it all worth it, More coming soon!
Subscribed. It's insane to see a channel under 1K subs that has this level of presentation and personality. Keep up the good work, man!
Thank you! 😊 im so glad you enjoyed it. It means alot to me , especially when I'm struggling to balance this with work and life. It makes it all worth it. More coming very soon!
Master artisan and narrator! Well done😃👌by watching your videos I'm inspired to paint at least one mini 😅
Ah thank you 😊 🙏 ah nice, what do you think you'll go for?
The first 5 minutes of this video is the same conversation I have anytime someone gives me an old metal dragon they had laying around..
😄 🤣 yeah it's a double-edged sword. I want it yes but I really don't want the pain of building and painting it. But I do want it painted.... its a triple edged sword
@@TheWizardsBrush I do recommend getting a Wowstick for pinning.. its made these metal beasts so much easier..
@SangriaSamurai Ooooh OK, I will look into that, especially because my pin vise is awful. Cheers!
Amazing work man! That OG sculpt is so good. Gorgeous looking goblins by the way 🤣
Thanks dude! 😊 it is a chonky chunky beast tbf. Sexy sexy goblins 😄 🤣

I liked the smooth transition from epic voice at just the right time 😁
Thanks dude! 😊 it is a tough voice to keep up tbf. I can only manage an intro 🤣
@@TheWizardsBrush I have a monster voice which is taxing too 😅
Lovely bit of shadow of flame you got there! 👍 Great job on this, you have a strong will to do the metal model 😅
Cheers dude 🙌 yeah it was a nightmare, but I do love the weight of the metal models when thier finished
I can really relate. I have the same exact model sitting and waiting to be primed. The green stuff molding really got to me. I thought no one has this rare old sculpt since Balrog has had a few ones after this! Great work on yours!
Oh mate yeah, it sat around staring at me for ages! Yeah it is such a pain! It is satisfying when done. I hope you get through it 🙏 thank you 😊
Amazing to see it finally painted, been looking forward to this one!
Cheers dude! This one was a right old muck about to get finished. Hope your good!
Looks great! Loved the video, makes me want to paint a Balrog…just not the rest of the army.
Thank you! 😊 I know what you mean 😄 🤣
Awesome! Looking forward to the Collab. Adam is a good dude. Met him at a tournament earlier this year with his awesome goblin town army.
Cheers! yeah he is such a good sport! His goblin town army is fantastic and his Goblin town build.

Thank you so much 🙏 I really appreciate it. I'm glad to have you on board! Ah man, that's a shame. It's a nightmare, but a really cool mini!
“Balrog mateee” 😂 this gave me jokes
🤣 🙏
This video has nothing to do with knitting, but I really like it.
Thank you 😊 not this time, I'm sure knitting could be involved somewhere in the future. My partner knits, she could knit a balrog jumper while I paint one. Have a race of some kind
Thanks for the vidéo, maybe i miss something, what is the name of the white you use at the begining please?
No worries, thank you 🙏 I used vallejo White and a white Ink
@@TheWizardsBrush Thank you, I only used corax white for now but yours seems to be whiter
Fun fact: balrog wings were also used for nazguls felbeast model
That is a fun fact! I didn't know that, just found an image online and it is indeed the case!
looks good , thx for resumen👍
Thank you 😊 🙏
Glorious Bloodthirster... I mean great Balrog! Blood for the... Moria?
Thank you 🙏 🤣 they are alike. Blood for Moria indeed! Although I think he may corterize the wounds
Mate this video is absolutely amazinggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
Thank you so much dude 🙏 means alot! Looking forward to your next vid as per usual!

Love the videos! But not gonna lie the constant zoom outs made me terribly dizzy. I recommend staying away from this editing technique.
Thank you 😊 🙏 Noted, I don't want anyone getting dizzy! I'll pull back on the zoominess next time, cheers for the feedback 😊
I was "like what, how?" And they i watched it, it literally couldn't finish it. Hurt my eyes.
@@Lakefront_Khan I will be avoiding hard zooms in the upcoming videos. Thank you for the feedback 🙏
Yeah I was going to say the same thing. Love the video, I was gonna ask if it was just me. Otherwise, I love what I’m seeing.

nice goblinses, man!
Thank you 😊 🙏 😄
I don't think GW make this mini anymore as its now a plastic kit (so newbies rejoice) alas, the metal one looks horrendous, good job!
Yeah that's true, they don't! Yep the plastic must be a joy, I do want to get one for myself. Thank you 😊 🙏
Some very attractive looking goblins there. Would a white oil wash work in the cracks

@@TheWizardsBrushI’ve seen people use a watered down white gap filler like you used for the joints as well
@Lekdog yeah I've seen this too! I was tempted to try it but got cold feet at the last minute. I will try it next time though. Cheers!
@@TheWizardsBrushI'll try it on mine and report back when I fuck it up
@Lekdog ok cool, I'm interested to know if it works so cheers. It's a worth while experiment 🫡
WHERE ARE THOSE BUILDINGS IN THE BACKGROUND FROM
they're straight out of Battle for Middle Earth!

old metal minis were the worst, especially as kid who didn't use to green stuff or putty. Just LOTS of superglue :D
I think we've all been there! Thanks for watching and commenting!
