one thing I will say about lesserafim is that even if the critisicm is true, we HAVE to keep in mind that our words are reaching a real person. Too many times have kpop fans harsh words hurt idols beyond repair. I fully support each netizen to express their opinions and critiscm, but please never forget that words have impact, and we should use them wisely. Never be one to cause anyone else mental stress.
Lesserafim CLEARLY don't work hard vocal wise, as such they did not deserve to perform at Coachella, imo.
That opportunity should have gone to a hardworking, more deserving group like gidle, kiss of life, Xg, and Nmixx. Nmixx literally do dance practice videos while singing live, and they do it so well!
Beyonce says she sings on the treadmill so her vocals aren't affected while dancing. This tells me Nmixx have been working hard vocal x dance x performance wise.
If you ask me, they're much more deserving.
I stan talent, and hard work over popularity.
I almost laughed when you said “stop beating around the bush with le sserafim”. Who the heck is tiptoeing around their issues anymore? All I see is criticism and hate and it’s constant on every thing they post now. I’m already tired of it.
some of the 'hate' is just critisism and also there is more than 1 reason as to why this whole hate started and SOME of them r valid and very understandable but others is just joining hate bandwagon.
@@6estiinylike I said totally agree that some is criticism. Some is hate. One is okay the other is not but once I’ve seen criticism for the 10000th time, even if it’s valid, I’m now over it. I understood the first few people who said it but now it’s just on everything everyday.
The only way to avoid it .. is to not give it attention if you're over it really 🤷🏻♀️ .. there is no real escape from hate, online bullying, criticism .. once you come across one there's bound to be more .. so best advice is to just ignore it
Totally agree about Le Sserafim, never conntected with them . They try so hard to be strong, cool or whatever and it just comes off as tacky. Unforgiven is an okay song though.
I’m only halfway through your video but man your takes are so refreshing and rational. As a longtime kpop fan of 10+ years, it still irks me when i see majority fans baby idols and excuse their mistakes.
Taking accountability is not bad, and constructive criticism is more helpful than babying them. Not everything that isn’t praise is a hate comment. Like let’s be for real, the amount of babying Jennie got during solo era was actually shameful. I would never give my idols flowers after a lazy stage or seeing them perform half-heartedly. Not to nitpick, but also she and blackpick - except lisa - do pick and choose when to bring energy to the stage. How this doesn’t enrage blinks is beyond me. Like that work ethic is so disrespectful.
Or this weird phenomenon with babying the maknaes and making being the youngest their whole identity *cough**cough* eunchae *cough**cough* because they don’t have the talent to back it up. Like idk how it got to the point in kpop where we would rather enable our idols in their mediocrity rather than calling them out - both on and off the stage. At the end of the day, these idols are not gods or some perfect entity, they are human beings just like us. We can still admire and support them, but to act as if they are unable to make mistakes or be problematic is something us kpop stans really need to move away from.
Thank you for the MR video opinion. I have never gone out of my way to watch MR removal videos but ever since the Lesserafim situation, they started popping up a lot on my feed (particularly ones of Lesserafim). I've always thought that everyone agreed that MR removal videos aren't a valid way of determining how well idols have sung live due to how susceptible they are to being manipulated but ever since the scandal, this hasn't been the case anymore apparently.
In terms of Min Heejin, how can you claim to start a trend in the industry if you don't want other groups to deliver their own take on that trend. Doesn't everyone know that 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery'.
What I find interesting is that during covid, there was an emphasis placed on futuristic concepts (e.g. aespa's next level going viral and the rise of virtual groups like MAVE and Superkind) to probably reflect the anxieties people felt towards a future post-covid. However, now everyone is trapped in the nostalgic past with the y2k concept after the pandemic. This might be due to people like my age group (19 years old), who were born during the 2000s but wasn't old enough to fully remember both the bad and good of living during that era. Therefore we glamorise the 2000s as we long for a time where life was easier now that we've experienced the struggles of the pandemic. It makes me wonder what path kpop will take in the future.
you had me then you lost me at the whole hyuna situation. Yes, she is a grown woman who can choose who she dates and allows into her life but should she not be criticized for dating a man who was known to be in the GC of the weirdos and then denied it a first....Then you had to say basic human decency as if he had it for those women. Yes, she can date but no one should have to bite their tongue for someone who is in my eyes guilty by association. even if she wasn't with him at the time of it happening. Everyone knows what she stood for and her struggles with being so young in the industry. I only expect people not to be friends or date nasty people. I mean would anyone of the right mind be friends with a rapist, pedo, or perv? Even if it happened 5 years ago? Hell no lmao. let alone date one... and yes the Burning Sun scandal will always be a stain because people were hurt and taken advantage of and no one should ever forget what happened let alone the people who were involved with it. this was just sour all around.
I don't like that she's dating someone like that .. but I also can't tell someone who they can or can not date if all I am to them is a random person on the internet .. I'm not saying we can give advice but a lot of times when that happens the person receiving won't listen since they believe they know what's best .. so I just decided to wash my hands and not waste my breath .. if she leaves him in the future then I'm sure many of us won't be surprised .. also I don't follow Hyuna all that much to know exactly on the tip of finger what she stands for .. could you kindly elaborate that?
@@th3a_ami At the same time if you tell said random people on the internet to look prettily on your relationship you are opening up that door for them to comment and have a say. and even if they won't listen should you still not say something if you feel like it is wrong? Also was her brand not woman empowerment.. to love yourself and go to the beat of your own drum typa thing? Or was that not her whole stick...
@iyanna716 well yeah .. the door for public opinion is opened at that point .. oh well
So Hyuna has the same generic love yourself stick most girls groups, boy groups & soloists have .. idk how ppl actually thought that this was her actual image but then again.. the company manages and idols image even though the idol has a say in it soooo
😮💨 my Lord this industry tires me ... Thx for chatting with me
@@th3a_ami of course 😭 Thanks for responding back as well🫶🏾. Also I think she had the best success of the stick cause she was so “provocative” which made people respect her more for being “herself?”
Yg rly needs his game up if he wants to continue to be respected and be a top company like recent years
Sm and Jyp have so many different concepts in comparison
Instead of the same damn song every time
Don’t get me wrong I love the songs
Like sheesh has been stuck in my head for weeks
But you’d think he could give some spice with it.
So appearantly Be:Lift said they did copy New Jeans and Hee jin said they didn't apologize .. then again why would they .. lady you didn't invent Y2K and what's wrong with getting inspired by an existing group when debutting a new one .. again y'all are different sectors under one roof
This lady istg😂
I'd also like to see Gidle on coachella, but i dont trust shuhua at all.
I hope LSF goes on hiatus to get vocal lessons and heal from all the hate.
I dont understand why people trust MR videos so much😅 even after lsf performed at coachella, there people waiting for the MR videos to judge them.
I stopped stanning NJs because i dont think they can bring anything new with their music. Idk if its because of the y2k concept, i cant tell. But their music got repetitive and even after listening to bubble gum, i guess i was right
The nice little tribute to Cherry bullet since disbanding
Love this video. You got a new sub cus we see eye to eyeeee.
Now let me share a take (I’m still watching btw so if you said this my bad):
Kpop Stan’s abuse words like iconic, fashion icon, and it girl to the point it doesn’t hardly mean anything if you are call this. Just cus ur fave wore something not basic doesn’t mean they are a fashion icon. Just cus your fave is pretty doesn’t make them an it girl. Ur fave simply dancing to the song they were taught to do for the song doesn’t make them iconic and neither is your fave making a funny face. Especially for it girl, y’all make it confusing. Why am I hearing stans be like “Yeji is the real it girl” “Jennie is the only it girl” etc… please stop
Thanks for subbing.. I hope you enjoy my content.. btw yes I have talked about the overuse of "iconic, it boy, it girl" etc. (in other videos) I just went deeper into it .. I totally agree with you and I can't help role my eyes whenever people call anything related to an idols job (dress pretty, switch up their looks, sing, dance.etc) "iconic" like its the idols basic minimum to do all of that
@@th3a_ami Lol I’ll go watch more of your other videos
I forgot what idol but I remember some female idol was being called iconic cus she smiled… that’s it… she smiled cute… 💀💀💀
I also forgot to mention with the whole professionalism but that’s another discussion.
@@AUGHHHHHBBG you're right that's a whole other discussion
@@AUGHHHHHBBG why can't people who see my content be more understanding like you 😭😭
@@th3a_ami 😭😭 I mean this is ktube so people are crazy
I hope you have a nice day tho. You probably gonna see me a lot under future video comments ❤️
But baby monster are much better singers and dancers than blackpink tho except when it comes to Lisa for dance
I disagreed completely with your take in "looks only will take you so far, talent matters more". In kpop being attractive is literally the most important thing. Looks can make your career, like irene and wonyoung, or destroy it, like jeongyeon and jhope, and dont get me wrong here, wonyoung and irene are talented, but they never gain popularity because of their talents, their fame is 100% caused by their looks, some people does not even know irene is a rapper and not a vocalist, and about jeongyeon and jhope, jeongyeon was very loved at the begging of twice career and now shes invisable to most people in the kpop community, and jhope is very famous, like hes part of the most famous k pop group ever, but he always put the in least popular bts member category, and like jhope is 100 times more talented than any other bts member, even jk, but there is a reason why jk, tae and jimin are way more popular and famous than jhope, their looks. And this "visuals over anything else" effect is a kpop industry thing, like, in the west lady gaga, that is a woman often consired ugly is way more famous and relevant than madison beer, a woman often considered extremely attractive, and dont get me wrong here, looks matter everywhere, but in kpop, looks can make you or destroy you, no in between, looks matter the most always. I not saying it should be like this, im just saying it is like this.
