I lost my younger sister a year ago. She was 46. I miss her. This song is so beautiful and the lyrics really make you think. Ren has made so many songs and no matter how far back you go they are all good, but still he impresses my with every new release. He is only getting better.

When you do it at the end of the day it makes you focus on the good instead of dwelling on the bad before you go to sleep, and it really seems to help. Love you ladies. 👔

This song, like many of Ren’s, got me right in the gut. I have a daughter I never want to lie to. She’s 7 and exceptionally curious about EVERYTHING. And in true AuDHD fashion, she has an acute sense of justice which means the world often doesn’t make much sense to her. I watch 1000s of reactions to Ren's music and work so I don't always have time to catch on up Ren's releases of information outside of music although I do REALLY want to hear and know it (hence why I watch so much Ren and his music because it resonates so much). And if the old memories are pain and anguish, even new positive memories are intertwined with pain. Thus, the other component of changing cognition is acceptance. Accept the pain, but you do not need to attach to it. Acknowledge the suffering, but it does not need to be something you seek or avoid. Just allow it.
