I’m liking this form of camo effectiveness video. Not necessarily laying down on the earth as a sniper where the viewers have to find you on the screen but actually getting up moving around as you would be to get to places on a patrol. I think the series really shines when you present the camo pattern’s effectiveness during movement. If you get what I mean. I'm happy that picked up one of these suits at a polish store for roughly 15 Dollars. Never saw this camouflage pattern before and it immediately caught my interest. Good video, and Greetings from Germany!
Interesting pattern..strangely effective, especially in that environment which could be fantasized to be similar to Yugoslavia...gotta love the MP-44 Sturmgewehr's the Yugo Paratroops used post war.
Rofl how is this similar to Yugoslavia? Do you know how unbelievable variable Yugoslavian terrain is? Literally from exotic beaches to alps and everything you can imagine in between. This camo was not designed for this environment. It was designed for MOUNTAIN areas in Yugoslavia.
Few years ago it turned out that was one of many hillarys lies. She came to bosnia in 96 when conflict was already over. I am from croatia i know history of this part of europe very well
The pattern is called “Pesak” (or translated to english “Sand”) by JNA (YPA - Yugoslav People’s Army) and the suit is called MOL - Maskirno Odelo Letnje (Camouflage Suit Summer). There was second type of camo pattern for MOL, called M-68 and the pattern shape is similar to U.S woodland pattern, but it has only three colores (green as base, brown and tan large stripes) and it’s much older than Woodland pattern so it’s not a copy. There was the third type of suit build for winter, called MOZ - Maskirno Odelo Zimsko (Camouflage Suit Winter) and it was plane white. So, if you are searching for this suit, type MOL Pesak or Maskirno Odelo Letnje Pesak.

This is MOL69 ( camouflage summer suit 69) that JNA adopted in 1969. Set contains two piece suit and gloves packed in a small bag of the same material. It's designed to be worn over standard SMB uniform, thus is over-sized and made of really light material. Camouflage pattern is ingenious, easily blending with any backgrounds, whether grass, sand, bushes, trees...etc. Small loops are sewn on all sides for attaching surrounding vegetation to blend even better. Not all are colored in the same colors- there are variations depending of probable place of use. In beginning it was issued to scout and border units, but latter was in use by various units, since it's very cheap and versatile. I still have one, top only, "got" it from captured Serb scout in September 95.

I concur...most versatile add on to your loadout. I've used it on Kosovo ('99) too. You wouldn't believe how useful it is in the urban 'rubble_debris' environment also. Btw, those leaf straps were always a bit flimsy. You need some thicker branch to cope with. Otherwise, spot on...

Another version of this Russian digital flora EMR camo on a pull over suit from the company BARS can be seen in this video from 4.19 in and a little forward. Light green slightly more light in color, it makes a difference I think at least: ruclips.net/video/FB8eLcxAcds/видео.html , here too, a review: ruclips.net/video/DDVhztnNtHI/видео.html
Seems to work very nicely. Although, it is definitely not perfect for the terrain y’all are filming in, I’m sure it works much better in climates with somewhat lighter foliage and textures. Great video as always!
That bluish green on the headgear sticks out. I spotted Bruce every time but twice. It's a great pattern though and I liked the video. Brent did we actually use o.d. tshirts with the 3 color desert uniform?
Pretty good apart from the hood which is way too blueish. It looks like something has happened to the colour through sun exposure or something like that.
Your effectiveness tests are awesome would you be able to do one for the new 511 Geo7 pattern. I believe this is the next level of camo patterns. It seems to be a combination of the best attributes from the best patterns around. I'm going to reference mil specific patterns and not hunting camo for my technology references. Macro and micro patterning from atacs Environment light imitation from the Russian SS leto / German flecktarn color scheme from multicam (not to be confused with OCP) Randomization of pattern similar to concamo 3d depth technology from kryptek
i'm not color blind but find many patterns do not work or poor bruce gets pegged out many times. this time he got me I do pattern ideas self design, using micro macro patterns across the board to all my gear.
Looks a little off with colors here, even though it looks like a good summer colorway, not too good in the fall/winter. It might work in the urban areas. At 6:52 the dependapotamus train is coming in... Saigon Sam in Lejeune had a pattern that looked like this but it was a bit torn up... The owner and a few other people there have a lot of old collectible uniforms. Semper Fi USMC/ Retired
I picked it easily up in the areas where there was only leaves on the ground with minimal green grass, where I couldn't pick it up at all was the instance next to the river behind that old tree.
Oh I see how it is...Big Bruce makes a great video and u jst throw it in the corner and dont even care about it!!!! That's messed up! Lmfao jk brother...great video and like always fantastic editing!!!!
Ha, yeah I know I'm a dick. I think I was working on a few different bigger projects at the time so I put it on the back burner. I then forgot about it. I have a few other patterns that I'm going to be releasing shortly that I filmed earlier in the year.
It would be a good business venture. Take old patterns and/old foreign patterns like this, print them on some 50/50 nyco fabric (something cheap but not too cheap) then make BDU or ACU cut pants and blouse and tactical shirts and pants. As well as other things like headgear.

3:15 is not notice only because e was in the corner of the screen
4:13 could see what clearly looks like fabric
4:54 stuck out like a sore thumb
5:20 Pretty damn good, thought he was a log
5:55 instant spot, sticks out
6:11 sticks out slightly from lighter color, unless you were looking for a combatant, you would not think otherwise.
6:44 very good, well positioned to not stick out, would not see if wasn't looking for an enemy.
very good camflage pattern
Nice! I still wish u could do some in lower light condition or in water. I like how you filmed at that Creek.
Go Bruce !
So Bruce did not get you a set?
SOF was a great mag where you could get some real news that the mainstream media would not touch.
This is the first video like this I've ever seen, and it's kind of fun. It's like "Where's Waldo, OR DIE!"
Interesting. I kept finding this one really quickly.
U should definitely check out serbian made M-21 rifle and our new uniform pattern M10
nema to nista, 2 pravila krov nad glavom i ab dvica jaro automat jugoslovenski
Oooo, that looks like some solid stuff man!
Yes i am lokooking for m-10 pattern ,was there something between the 89 and m-10 because I have oakleaf pattern dating to 2004.What happened after that?
In Serbia, some colectors have stuff with this pattern but rarely you could buy it and prizes are huge. Reason is its rare...and very affective.
Thanks for the input.
It’s very popular in paintball community. It’s very effective on most terrains
I suggest Yugoslav lizard camouflage and some of variants of oak leaf patterns. For me, Yugoslav lizard was perfect - oak leaf Hoewer wasn’t good enough because bad quality of color and textile they used.
Hey Brent I have some Surpat and other Russian patterns... Also some Ukrainian patters as well would you be interested in doing a vid on some
I have a set of Surpat, it's pretty effective, probably one of the best universal patterns alongside Croapat.
@@Sovietskikh yea i was wanting to get Brent to do a effectiveness vid on surpat... i can supply and im right down the road so easy peasy
@@WindshieldWonder hi, i from Russia. Which one version of surpat you have? Just interesting. Its have 3: classic, savanna and taiga (forests in middle in Russia) you can check this here srvv.org/surpat/
Maybe down the road brother, well see how it goes. I have a never ending list of stuff I have to film. Appreciate the offer.
@@Stranger-my4um original
Awesome pattern.
Anyone else consider these videos a harder version if "Where's Waldo"?
Sks was a nice touch.. 👌
Agreed
Elite of Yugoslavia!
Great video and effective pattern. Still love your presentation format and shooting.
Thanks brother, there will be more to come.
More Yugoslavian camo vids! One of my favorite countries to research.
Also, where did he find that camo, IV been looking online and it's incredibly hard to find Yugoslavian camo.
Few people have it....and they rarely want to sell it
There will definitely be more coming down the pipe in the spring/summer. Bruce has a few more patterns from that region to film with.
I'd love to do something like this with my 90s Serbian volunteer guard uniform! I have the shirt, pants, and even the assault vest!
@@theillyri8339 I'm confused as to what your comment is supposed to be implying? I never said I wanted to see Yugoslavia again, just test out some camo I bought
Hey Bruce when are you going to do camo patterns from your home country......china?
Haha, you got jokes
can you make a review of the Ratnik digi flora camouflage, and also, the new german Concamo, which is very very impressive...
Peace
He has made a review of the digital flora, the Ratnik one isn't much different.

As one of the others has replied already, I already have a digital Flora pattern video. The ConCamo is going to be tuff for me to get my hands on.
Some pictures of ConCamo here for a starter: www.concamo.com/concamo.html (I did not know about it, interesting) :o)
Another version of this Russian digital flora EMR camo on a pull over suit from the company BARS can be seen in this video from 4.19 in and a little forward. Light green slightly more light in color, it makes a difference I think at least:
ruclips.net/video/FB8eLcxAcds/видео.html , here too, a review: ruclips.net/video/DDVhztnNtHI/видео.html
Seems to work very nicely. Although, it is definitely not perfect for the terrain y’all are filming in, I’m sure it works much better in climates with somewhat lighter foliage and textures. Great video as always!
For sure, thanks ma.
Very good camo
I have this exact Mountain pattern set. Thought about selling it.
That bluish green on the headgear sticks out. I spotted Bruce every time but twice. It's a great pattern though and I liked the video.
Brent did we actually use o.d. tshirts with the 3 color desert uniform?
that's an impressive camo!
Pretty good apart from the hood which is way too blueish. It looks like something has happened to the colour through sun exposure or something like that.
Its simply the dye.

Your effectiveness tests are awesome would you be able to do one for the new 511 Geo7 pattern. I believe this is the next level of camo patterns. It seems to be a combination of the best attributes from the best patterns around. I'm going to reference mil specific patterns and not hunting camo for my technology references.
Macro and micro patterning from atacs
Environment light imitation from the Russian SS leto / German flecktarn
color scheme from multicam (not to be confused with OCP)
Randomization of pattern similar to concamo
3d depth technology from kryptek
I have the top part of this uniform. I wonder how much it costs?
this happens to be toughest pattern yet thanks for video dang man I be goner against this one good going bruce nail this to extreme expert unseen
i'm not color blind but find many patterns do not work or poor bruce gets pegged out many times. this time he got me I do pattern ideas self design, using micro macro patterns across the board to all my gear.

I picked it easily up in the areas where there was only leaves on the ground with minimal green grass, where I couldn't pick it up at all was the instance next to the river behind that old tree.
Nice pattern, only thing is I see the green is a different hue to the natural vegetation around it.
I love that pattern. Tru-Spec could make some nice kit out of that. It be expensive though.
How do you say Where's Waldo in Serbian?
Gde je Waldo?
Где је Валдо
Very good God bless keep fithing
it worked on me bruce with sniper advice do not use tree as cover many times or next to ever
This was pretty effective
Never heard of it love it
Greetings from Bosnia !!
Effective? yes!
@@Brent0331 nice!!!!!!!!
The pattern is not bad, but both me and Bruce have to apply a camo pattern to our Yugo SKSs
I have an ARMIJA BiH chest rig, and a one of a kind field rigged vest made from a yugo jacket with AK pouches sewn on.
Cool video
Interesting video
Thanks
that shiny sks blade really give you away, I wonder if they ever painted them black like in the crimean war
Ive never seen them painted.
You should try out Norwegian Nkamo
Like the video, Serbian paratrooper here who fought in that conflict, check out FRY camouflage uniforms M89, M93
We will be testing M89/M93 in the very near future.
It would be a good business venture. Take old patterns and/old foreign patterns like this, print them on some 50/50 nyco fabric (something cheap but not too cheap) then make BDU or ACU cut pants and blouse and tactical shirts and pants. As well as other things like headgear.
It was easy to spot due to the large light spots I think if you were to put some foliage on to the base layer it would have worked better.
The green thing on your head gave it away very easily
Great video. Camo tape your weapons FTW
Great vid
Thanks
I m pretty sure that camo was imported by all 3 sides during war , that was not issued or expect by JNA
