@@deanspam7049 weird, just unconfigured mine and then reconfigured to a different app without any issues. You could try unconfiguring that option. Shutdown, power off and restart then reconfigure. Don't know if that will solve the issue, but can't hurt, though can't see how that might cure it either ;). A more radical approach would be to clear data and cache on the app and start over...
to narrow it down a bit, try configuring that double tap tp a different app and see if that works. If it does that would suggest some kind of issue with your iptv app - though, again, it just sounds odd
I had some issues using the main volume control configuration - it wouldn't configure properly for me. I also tried doing it by "Add Button", also with no joy.
Awesome channel. My 2017 Shield has just died.It boots up then just continues to crash and switch itself off.It had been working fine being used daily since i bought it.It won't stay on long enough for me to attempt to do a factory reset.I've checked the mains supply and that's ok.Ready to give up and purchase one of the newer boxes.Any ideas? Thanks.
initial reaction - some kind of hardware issue - sounds like maybe a faulty power supply unit - but you say you've checked that, You could always try running it by Nvidia customer support - they are generally pretty helpful in sorting out hardware issues and have been known to send out replacement parts. Try them, keep us posted how iy goes. shield.nvidia.com/support
@@WOTBoxTV I found the issue thankyou. My hdmi switch is playing up.My Roku Stick+ is reporting low power when running through it.I now have a new switch on order and my Apple tv and Shield plugged straight into the tv.Because i wasn't getting any handshake issues i didn't imagine the fault was with the switch.I carried out a factory reset anyway on the Shield just to be on the safe side and i can now report everything is running fine so no need for a new Sheild unit just yet.Happy days and thanks for your thoughts on the issue.
@@MrRogermash DOH! That's a common issue - and usually the first thing I'd recommend checking (when people complain abot bad image or flickering etc) - great to hear you've got it sorted! You won't need to get one of the newer boxes, unless, of course, you want another one for the bedroom, kid's' room or garden shed ;)
Anybody know if replacement decals for other services (Hulu, RUclips TV,etc.) are available for that button?
I've seen them advertised but can't remember where. They come as packs with several different stickers, Plex, Syncler and other etc
Awesome. Thanks. Rog.
Glad it helped Roger.
Having issues with double tap on Netflix button not doing the chosen command but single and long press work ok, any help?
hmm, odd, what app/action/media/ are you wanting to put in for double tap - I'll see if I can recreate the issue on mine
WOT Time it’s to launch my iptv provider app

how do we repair the lost long pause for volume up and down

@@WOTBoxTV same . Developer response:
The volume buttons can't be remapped. Nvidia hard-coded them.
@@wwmoggy Cheers for that, sneaky Nvidia, what a pain. Had the same with the Power and the Mic buttons too. Annoying
