My family camped there in the '70's thru the mid '80's. We were fortunate to get the same spot almost every year. We were next to the lake with the beach to our left as you face the lake. I think it was D-29, 30 or 31. In the 60's ( yeah, I'm old!) we used to stay at one of Wickers Cottages. One year we stayed at one of the Stumps cottages next to Fox Island.

I have a camper in seasonal campground on the north part of the lake and bought me a e bike to ride on the trails next season. Great way for a 70 year old man to get some exercise without straining my legs. Really liked your video

Great video. Thanks for the info. My wife and I are looking into getting some electric bikes. Seems like it would be a great time. Thought I'd mention, the site you show as D54 is actually D034. You can reference this video at minute 6:59 ruclips.net/video/HHb5OCfVEBU/видео.html
Hope this saves you from booking D54 next time by accident. Happy camping!

Thanks Carl. E-bikes are definitely a lot of fun. We ride ours everywhere. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel.

Good information and tour. I grew up around the lake! My family moved in 1992 and I returned then moved again 2006 and 2009 (divorced). I grew up in Turkeyfoot and lived in Russells Point for a few years. Now that my son is 18 and moved away I feel the pull of living around the lake. It has a culture all its own. The sunsets, the people and the smell of the lake is what I miss the most. A few months ago I started to prepare and wont be ready for at least 3 more months but its videos like yours that keep my hope and dream energized. I miss camping there at the park! Again, thanks for the tour . Subbed!
