THE BULLY KUTTA - DANGEROUS BEAST FROM THE EAST? - غنڈہ کتہ کتا / बुली कुट्टा कुत्ता

- Опубликовано: 13 сен 2024
- Today Anneka meets the East's most powerful and feared Mastiff - THE BULLY KUTTA. A giant guarding, fighting and hunting dog descended from the war dogs of Mesopotamia. Centuries old, these revered and loved dogs are symbols of the countries of India and Pakistan. Huge, muscular and dog aggressive. Will this mastiff be too much for Anneka to handle as she meets some Aseel and Ancient line Bully Kuttas.
Today we have an exciting *COMPETITION GIVEAWAY* - The Winner will need to answer a question on the Bully Kutta and can win an Animal Watch T Shirt, an Animal Watch Mug or a poster of Anneka and her wolfdog Kumi. Listen for the question and answer in the comments box below the episode. You can answer as many times as you like, but also make sure to LIKE this episode, share and SUBSCRIBE to Animal Watch to be in with a chance of winning. The winner will be announced on the 8th of April, randomly selected via a sorting app. You can be anywhere in the world to enter. We will write the winner as a pinned post on this episode too, as well as on the community page, Anneka's facebook and Instagram pages.
The Bully Kutta, otherwise known as The Beast from the East. A competitor to the title of world’s most powerful mastiff. Made for hunting and guarding, as well as being a fierce fighter, he stands tall like Doggo Argentina, muscular like the Pitbull with a wrinkled face like the Malakli. In fact Bully Kutta literally means ‘heavily wrinkled dog’. The word "Bully" comes from the root word of the Hindustani and Punjabi languages "Bohli" which means heavily wrinkled. "Kutta" means dog in the Hindi-Urdu language.
He's described online as ‘unfriendly’ and aggressive to strangers and strange dogs. He’s also described as powerful, independent, difficult and demanding. In fact, a real handful that can only be handled by the strongest of people. Adored by royalty, this ancient dog comes originally from the Punjab region, a shared region between northern India and Eastern Pakistan…but mostly now exists in Pakistan where he continues to be developed.
He stands extremely tall at the shoulder, males can get up to 40 inches and weighs a lot due to his dense muscle. He has a mastiff skull and crushing teeth. His independent demeanour will mean only the strongest leaders can take one of these on….

Wow, this video really gives a great overview of the Bully Kutta breed! I had never heard of them before, but now I can see why they are so highly regarded for their intelligence, strength, and loyalty. It's clear that they are not only beautiful dogs, but also very capable and hardworking animals. I'm really impressed by the variety of tasks and activities they are able to excel at, from farm work to sporting events. It's clear that the Bully Kutta is a breed that is truly one of a kind. Thanks for sharing this informative video!
Your comment really defines what the Bully Kutta is all about. I'm a proud owner of one of these amazing dogs myself. She is only 4 months old and is so smart and loyal and just so much fun to be around. A truly man's best friend.

Except these dogs are dangerous not a great thing
Most dogs are more or less dangerous. It’s important to remember that in order to be responsible.
All Mastiff Breeds Have A Dominant Personality It's In Their DNA
@@allensaunders449 any dog can be dangerous. Some just more than others. Like the Fila (Brazilian Mastiff). Theyr so crazy, they detest even being touched. I was close to on once. That dog started biting the metal bars on his crate. Scared the hell out of me.
Yes the big thing here that sets tham apart as true athletes among the giant breeds is the narrow ribcage. English mastiffs simply don't have the ability to haul their massive ribcages around for too long. The bigger the dog, the leaner it should be in order to still be athletic. Unfortunately, I predict the bully kutta will soon be taken over by the kennel clubs and transformed into another overdone, non athletic mastiff

Love from Canada! Thank you for sharing! My husband had one pair of bully kuttas when he was growing up in the northwestern Pakistani province of Khyber Pukhtun Khwa (KPK), although people there are more known for keeping Pakistani bullterrier (Hinks bullterrier). My husband tells me that the pair was for guarding duties of their small flock of goats and sheep (kind of a hobby farm), hence more of livestock guardian duties. Both would go out taking the flock with them and return unscathed. The family was upper middle income with father doing a well paid job and mother being a homemaker and taking care of the farm. I therefore reckon that bully kuttas can be kept for guardian duties rather than for fighting.
These dogs are massively built! How beautiful and the different colors. The Naagi Bully Kutta are predominantly black.
A businesswoman I know got fed up with burglaries and bought one of these as a young pup. He’s now five and huge. However a really lovely temperament although his trying to sit on your lap is comic to say the least. As a guard he has little equal. His bark and appearance at a window sends all intruders hastily packing. A lovely dog with a gorgeous temperament but feeding him!

Nagy Bully Kutta Color-
As a breed subtype it can have the same color variations as other Bully Kuttas white, fawn, black, harlequin, red, brindle, etc. with varying markings.
Now if your question was specific and actually about Romeo he would be considered brown and white or red and white depending on who was doing the describing.🙂
Keep up the great work.🙂
19:02 what is the growth on the breeding dogs leg? I looks very painful, as he keeps adjusting it and avoiding putting weight or laying on it. I hope it isn't something that could be passed to offspring or an issue like cancer?
You're right!
I just left the same comment, kinda blows my mind how many people didn't recognize that issue. I guess you have to be a true dog person to recognize such things😉
The growth on the leg is a fatty cyst which is being removed under surgery next week. The reason he could not put weight on it during the recording was because he had a needle stuck inside it the day before to obtain a sample for testing. It is not cancerous and not genetical.

Just for info, there is another variant called Sindhi bully kutta from Sindh state of Pakistan. It’s heavily wrinkled type like the old style bully kutta
British breeds have played a big part in the development and ancestry of the Bully kutta because the British had rule over India from 1858 to 1947 so a lot of working breeds of mastiffs Dane’s even James hinks Bull n terriers made there way to India to take part in dog fighting and boar hunting and in the Sindhi province of Punjab which is located of the southeastern region of Pakistan naw but was part of India back then in this area they had a very strong breed powerful breed called the sindh mastiff or in Punjab known as Bohli These dogs were crossed with the working dogs of the British raj which give way to the Bully kutta but sadly the breed is getting rare in its pure form a lot are being crossed with imported dogs the Bully kutta is becoming rare in its original form

Bully kutta's are much bigger than dogo argentino's. Dogo argentino do not weight more than 45 kg and bully kutta can grow over 80 kg. Most dogo argentino are more human friendly than bully kutts but have more animal agression if not good trained. I have owned 3 dogo argentino's. Also dogo argentino is verry new breed compare to bully kutta's. People talk about training but with this breeds but you neet to adjust to the breed. Al 3 my dogo's where from hunting/working stock and i neet to watch out with other animals because there drive to hunt and catch other animals whas big if they have the change. Also they would not start a fight but would not excep other dominante dogs and accep every challange to fight. The same with bully kutta's there use to fight other dogs and you neet to adjust to them and not the otherway around because some things are in DNA in the dog that human cannot change.

“Kutta” is spelt wrong; I should know because my ethnicity is Indian; there are hardly any Indians who know how to use the English alphabet to write Indian words; the correct way to spell dog in Indian is ‘KOOTHA’, not “Kutta’.
@@PSYCHIC_PSYCHO everyone understand but some kind of pro idiots start teaching others on small things ….
Is that the dog that Jim Corbett refers to in his books about man eating tigers and leopards? I remember him say something about the massive and very dangerous guard dogs that some shepherds use in the Himalayan foothills, to protect their livestock.
@@truthseeker3536 that dog is called gaddi kutta. They are similar to size and weight of bully kutta. They have mostly black tan coat with lot of long hair and mane. They look bigger and long legged version of tibetian mastiff but they are lot more agile , better gaurd dog and lot more stamina than shorter bulkier TM’s . Bully kutta were used by mostly in pits thousands of years ago by kings against lions and tigers and there are records of 3 dogs were enough to take down a big lion or tiger. Bully kutta have more of fighting dog or hunting dog heritage as they were also used to hunt down deer and wild boar by kings. And Gaddi kutta have more of a Shepherd and gaurd dog heritage. Bully kutta have a little bit of size advantage over gaddi but not by much but gaddi might look a bit bigger bcoz of it’s big mane. But both are beautiful breeds from north India. There are many more big beautiful dog breeds in India but these two are biggest and the meanest.
I've seen You love big breeds. You should make a video about Owczarek podhalański, big white fluffy friendly and powerfull sheepherds popular as a home protecting dog.

The original “Transylvanian Lyken Hound”. An ancient breed that are usually difficult to train. Just takes a lot of love and armor.
Transilvania è in Europa dell est - Romania - nulla a che fare con questa razza canina
Long awaited video... respect from Pakistan 🇵🇰.
