I would like to add few points, there are mainly two domains in Cybersecurity in any organisation.
1. Information Security &
2. Network Security
Information Security, is mainly protecting your organisation from any attacks, as explained in this video. Recommended certifications: CCNA, CEH, OSCP, etc.
Network security, is mainly designing, implimentation and maintaining a security infrastructure for an organisation. Recommended certifications: CCNA, CCNA Security, Juniper Certs, Checkpoint certs, etc.
PS: This is just a basic explanation.
I'm Hashim and I have hand on experience in it support and basic networking can I change my way into cyber security

The video is informative for the beginners.
Just wanted to point out that newbies generally tend to get carried way more by offensive side of the cybersecurity and related jobs which he covered in video. But there are as much awesome work and opportunities on defensive side of Cybersecurity and It is more niche and overtop.
I am gujju follower of your work and I am saying this because I also am in Cybersecurity field too and just wanted to inform that there is whole another part to Cybersecurity. I am working as a Threat Researcher (Spam and Malware analysis and research). And I just want people of YudiSquad to look out for opportunities on defensive side too.
Just reply and I will share more on opportunities on defensive side which you can share with our YudiSquad.

@ viewers - Cyber security is a very very big industry. In this it's not neccassary that one has to break into devices, Be it Red or Blue team- both itself are very vast .
Red Team - Offensive ( penetrating the systems)
Web application security, Network security ( These are part of Red Team) and one has to gain knowledge on both but excel in only one domain further these domains are also very vast.
Blue Team - Defensive (Protect, Build strong infra, logs)
Malware Analysis, Threat hunting, Firewall,Incident Handling,etc etc - just like in Red team , these are also very vast domains and one has to gain knowledge on all but excel in only 1 or 2 domains.
Purple Team = Red Team + Blue Team
One who is having both offensive and defensive skills can go for it. and i would suggest if you are a begineer , focus on Purple Team skills, Companies will prefer you than simply red team guy or blue team guy as you will be having more knowledge than them.
Module that you should study to get into Cyber Security - Firewal basics(any firewall - Palo Alto, Checkpoint, PF Sense), CCNA basics(Networking), Ethical Hacking( Web and Network both), SIEM basics, Cyber forensic basics.
Once you have basic knowledge in above domains , you are ready to go for interviews.
Coding skills are not required, if you can understand the code its an added advantage. for a begineer coding is not required at all. Depending upon your interested domain , coding might be neccesary.
If you want to learn coding then start with python.
Again claryfying- Coding is not important, just start your career, then depening upon your interested domain go for whatever is best and at that point of time it will be easy to learn coding as well.
Cyber security is very vast and all above knowledge is partial not full so please dont judge.
