Attic from good old Germany - my. home country. Wish they'd tour the US a bit more. Invocation & Sanctimonious are great albums. Very Mercyful Fateish. Excellent interview.

Attic is honestly one of the most consistently good modern metal bands I've heard tbh. Right alongside bands like Enforcer and Uncle Acid imo of the best modern metal bands.

I just listened to it. I liked the distant clean guitar in the background, and the lyrics in German added some mysterious bad-assery Pretty good, I'd say.

There have only been two other bands where I have heard vocals close to King Diamond. They are Bewitched from Chile and Them from Germany.
Bewitched from Chile, are a thousand more times interesting, convincing and better than these guys could ever hope to be. Been around way longer, have more disparity to their sound and I refuse to acknowledge any similarity at all.
@@andygreatfield I was talking about similarity in vocals to King Diamond not similarity in sound to Attic musically. Bewitched and Attic are poles apart when it comes to that.
