I'll be applying a matte medium to my sculpt
It's crazy how much that cool belt and holster adds to this figure, but it's a bit of a stretch having it as part of the accessories! They were really doing their best to make this out to be a DX, which, let's be honest, it really isn't!
Although, tbf, we have been spoiled with that amazing base. (I think that probably should've come with the DX25 and the Dagobah one with this - but I'm not complaining!) 😄
I like what you did swapping the headsculpts. I'll be doing the same as Snowspeeder Luke looks a bit more tense and stressed.. more fitting for Bespin Luke!
I just need to get that suit dirtied up as I've seen some great examples of custom weathering to it online. I'd be too nervous to try it myself though! Great vid, mate! 👍

Great look at this figure, I ultimately went with the Mando season two figure adding back a Luke to my collection. Doing good work here my man!

This is my favorite Luke I own, but I agree it should have come with way more hands. Especially for a DX release. Mando Luke is awesome, but this one has so much more nostalgia. I’m probably in the minority, but I love the clean look lol.
I’ve owned a few Luke’s and this one is also my favorite. The clean look is nice, just wish we had a little bit of weathering to convince me he wore it around the galaxy haha
I did the head swap and used the DX25 combed hair look on the Snow Speeder Luke headsculpt (on the Bespin Luke) and it makes an amazing looking Bespin Luke!! Then the messy hair and the DX 25 headsculpt on my snowspeeder Luke figure and it gives him a helmet hair look... love them both more with the headsculpt swap.
They both are awesome and it’s so cool we can swap the head sculpts!
Got Mando and Snowspeeder might have to add this one in time as well love the base

I find it very strange that your portrait is as shiny as it is. I hadn't noticed it on mine and watching this made me double check. After further inspection, there isn't a shine to the portrait for me. I wonder if it's specific to the DX24. Not sure why it would, but it might be.

Mine is still in the box, until I can get one of those cords to light it up. But now you have me eager to take him out. But I hate that name plate on the base. Maybe next they'll give us a Hoth Luke....and a tauntaun!

Dose this hand's lightsaber change the position?
If the hand holding the lightsaber is in the initial position, it is not possible to have both hands holding the lightsaber.
However, hand is connected lightsaber.
I’m not using the sculpted lightsaber holding hand. Both hands are holding the hilt though.
Unpopular opinion: I don't like foam, every cheap 3rd party company is able to pull it of when clamp shell requeires more r&d and secures figure way better. Also I prefer waist grabbers, less damage better support in my experience.
I can see that about the clamshell. I just like the presentation better regarding foam.
Do you still think they'll make a battle version of him? Which I'm hoping and waiting for. But if they did, what accessories would he come with different from this version?
I don’t see why they wouldn’t. They already have the figure just need adjusted paint apps and battle damage. I could see a different base and his cut off arm along with the battle damage being the differences. Cheers!🍻🤘🏻🐺

Haven't bought into it suit seems to tight to much micro stitching jacket should be and look one piece
It does seem a little tight. I may try doing the weathering look myself.
Its a good fig but think i may be over star wars now 🤔 thats just me
