Just showcasing how the world is supposed to start with the Intro and where you would spawn according to it, as well as some other smaller things others might have seen.
Here's the traduction for the dialogues in English for those wondering (I'm only translating them once tho, it would take too long to translate the sale thing over and over lol( Also, I'm translating "lapins" as "rabbits" but it could mean "Rabbids" because in French, their name is "Stupid rabbits" so it might be one or the other)):

This what I could understand from these dialogues, it's not perfect as I'm not a translator but I think they're more or less accurate! ^^
Such a shame that this got reworked the way it did, the more I see on it the more I’m impressed with its creativity and overall scope, especially for the time.
Looked like a really ambitious piece of art.
Damn… I sincerely hope if they ever develop Rayman 4 I hope they look back at this game for reference.
Of course they won’t use the rabbits anymore but I would love to have a Rayman open world game like this I really love the apocalyptic flair in a fantasy world
Idk I think they could definitely still use the rabbids. While their design and tone have changed some in later iterations the general consensus in the rabbids titles is that they're usually the "bad guys" for the most part. So I don't think it'd go against the "rabbid's brand identity" so to say.
@@soultaker2254 I mean, i don't see why they wouldn't be able to use the original Rabbids concept as it is. And if for some retarded reason something's preventing them to do so, they can just use the fact modern Rabbids are called Rabbids while the Rabbids from Rayman 4 were called Raving Rabbids and Say something like "these Rayman 4 Rabbids are an evil sub species of the Rabbids you know"
me too! rayman 4 has always been a dream of mine, it will so awesome to have the fan community create it!
I agree, like Rayman 2 Revolution did something similar with the hubs like Dark Souls but this prototype is really some sort of an open world
Rayman quiting a underground rabbids base while a song in spanish about a hearbreak is playing in the bg is something else

The source code was leaked alongside this, so i would love to see a team attempt to finish this version of the game.

There's a lot of comedic and conversational dialogue in this, and even a basic Google translation can give me a basic idea of it. I don't know French that well, and the translation, while poor due to Google being Google, gives me a good idea how the tone goes.
Somebody needs to sub some of this in English, or whatever language they feel comfortable with.
Feels like the game was supposed to be maybe open zoned? different zones with an open world playground. dang way ahead of its time.
Wow, this actually looks like a game! I'm getting the impression that World 2 is the point where the game properly introduces the player to the general gameplay loop, as it showcases some reoccurring gameplay mechanics at their most docile state: Running with Teensies, Rabbid chases, Rabbid bases, riding animals, etc. It's just great how even when it's fairly simple gameplay wise, the potential for these elements(and other new elements that would be introduce in later worlds, I presume) and how they would evolve over the course of the game is evident. It's an open world that's not too big, and still carries that Rayman charm.
Looking forward to see what can be done with the town on top of the mountain. This has to be my favourite map by far.

Am i the only one who likes how fuzzy these prototype rabbids are
I hate it. Looks very early-ps2 in the worst possible way. The final design is better and more child friendly, these are a bit too nightmarish and unlikeable, especially since you would be dancing with them.

The more the modders find stuff like this, the closer we get to a full on revival of this game.
Funny enough some outfits from this game made it into Rayman Legends. Especially with the custome Naked Ray I was like how did you come up with this? Turns out it was from this game. I don’t know much about game development but this build is probably not even considerable as an Alpha build right? Maybe with the help of the fans this game can be turned into something much better and maybe even a semi finished product

Still waiting for a Rayman: the great escape remaster.
I feel like if they implemented the controls right with the platforming it would feel a bit like Sonic when Rayman goes fast and jumps, just different, a fletched out system would be amazing for this, maybe the fans could do something with it
I wish some past developer can tell us how the game would have turned out.

Man. Ubisoft were hiring this man before it was cool. (Ik the final game probably would’ve had more to do in this area)
This world has much more, i just did not show it cause some of it is still a bit janky, will show later on, but you can also get the leak and patch for it to try those as well

god i really wonder what the lore was about... like why the fuck do you summon a giant spider (placeholder mount maybe??) if you put X teensies in that summoning circle?? if the spider was not supposed to be there, what did you actually spawn? so many questions

The lore of this game is that the rabbids planed for decades to rule the world. not for fun but for VERY SERIOUS REASONS that no one can explain because the game was canceled. The trailers show that they are aliens.

You cannot play it exactly how i am at the moment, things are being worked on, idk when it will come out, definitely not in the next month or so

It's in french
There's a lot of different and also a lot of repeated text. There's one section where Rayman gets instructions and there's another bit where someone goes "I wanna go with you" "don't forget me"

Not really, the game looks pretty good, especially for 2006 when it was supposed to come out, and there is only so much that can be done with the visuals in an engine from that time. Some assets and stuff may be upgraded
