Untold Nantucket: The Madaket Ditch

In this episode of Untold Nantucket, host Charley Walters examines the history of Nantucket's Madaket Ditch, which was excavated jointly by Wampanoag Indians and English settlers in 1665.
Nantucket Community Television created the series "Untold Nantucket" to highlight little-known corners and histories of Nantucket. NCTV members serve as the directors; they pick the stories and partner with NCTV's professional filmmakers and editors to bring their vision to life. This program offers viewers new perspectives through which to view the unique character of Nantucket.
