Jane voice is full and strong and whole. She's very good at low keys, but huang is like a fairy tale. Especially when she hits high notes. Her sustains are beautiful. If you put then together it will be one hell of a performances. You can't compare them coz each have her strong features and different voices but both can sing beautifully. Their style is different. Jane likes to follow the traditional but huang likes to follow her own style. Notice how she opens her vocals on high notes. 🎼🎶🎵🎶💖
Really Huang's high notes so bad . It's very Strain and Shrill tone . she can't have a certain style yet, she always imitates Jane and others

Kazakhstan singer Dimash Kudaibergen and Korean singer SoYang have the most beautiful head voice. Xiaoyun Huang is a well trained opera singer too. Her voice is prettier and well supported than Jane's.
@@joycefun7243 These 4 are the most remarkable and powerful Asian singers of recent times. Although Jane is a previous generation, and IMO a better, soulful lower register than Ghost. I'd include Hua ChenYu, Zhou Shen, and Morissette Amon to the list of most more unforgettable voices from Asia. They touch the soul when you experience them sing!

@@joycefun7243 Since when had Huang’s headvoice can be compared with Jane’s? Although hers (Huang’s) is beautiful but it just stops at “Support” and even in some performances (e.g Upwards to the Moon) she couldn’t even support it. What about Jane? The fact that she could even use Operatic Headvoice (the highest level of HV) in almost all of her performances can point out that Jane’s technique is using HV is much better than Huang
Edit: Don’t forget that Jane’s signature is her range and her headvoice

Great video, Jane Zhang, the queen of China is so beautiful and talented, love her. Amazing lower register and best head voice in the world.
It's honestly so much more impressive knowing Jane is a coloratura mezzo and Huang is a lyric soprano yet Jane's high head voice notes are so exquisite. I have no idea how a mezzo can even have such an unbelievable head voice?

@@jzvr5842 I will say. I do actually believe Jane is a soprano. I’m not 100% sure. But either way. I’d say her head voice is almost unmatched in the contemporary world. And with Huang XiaoYun only being 22, she’s got a long way to go too :)
@@thatkpopfan4010 Her natural tone is dark, her speaking voice is low and her tessitura is that of a mezzo's as well, she's definitely a mezzo. Tbh Huang already has a good lower register for a soprano but the difference in tone, thickness and depth compared to a mezzo like Jane is obvious.

I agree with you. I think personally Jane is more technique oriented whereas with HXY, I can really feel the emotion and that’s why I prefer her overall (though I still LOVE Jane)
跟着感觉走 - I think Jane’s lows were awesome here but no one is talking about HXY‘a upper mix here. I think it’s her best F#5 by far!
Diva dance - I would have included HXY’s recent one but j thought it was a bit pitchy and maybe just not as good as this version overall. Lower key but the new and original runs make up for it imo

And in 我用所有报答爱 that ending part is actually a diminuendo. It’s so impressive she can do that especially high in the range. It’s a beautiful ending!

@@thatkpopfan4010 I like HXY better, she makes things easier and smoother for my ears. I like Jane, she can sing just anything. But in this comparison i feel like (maybe she sings like and she is not autocorrecting her mistakes, i dont know) but i have the feeling that when she can not hit a note in a specific way or whatever, she does it differently without sacrifycing much impact. I think its still beautiful but HXY can keep increasing the intensity or the emotion if she wants.
If she has a bad day or bad equipment, those risks she can usually take, turn against her very fast (i have watched a couple of examples where that happens).
But overall, the peak performance of HXY is more pleasant and fulfilling.
Jane Zhang has a clear advantage in lower register, very solid
Btw Jane Zhang's updated range is G2-B5-C7, the widest out of all well known Chinese female artists.
Never heard the G2 or C7 :O but she actually has a mixed C6 too. Check out one of my older videos to hear it hehe

Listening to Xiaoyun it’s like listening to the younger Jane with more training :)
They are both my favorite singers, but I listen more to Xiaoyun than Jane just because of her pure skills and talent ;)
I've heard both singers other songs and Xiao's voice always stuck out, now I can see why. In this case, kind of hard to compare the 2 cause both have different tones with amazing head voices singing the same songs. It's more, who's easier/angelic like to listen to in my ears and that's Xiao Yun.

二位都是非常顶级的女歌手。但是《我用所有报答爱》这首，我认为黄霄云还略优胜。
长期的美声练习带来的习惯让黄在处理很多前戏的时候细节不足不够精致，表现出来就是咬字不清晰经常一口气带过一句歌词。但只要到了高潮，不管是真声还是强混，机能可以直接碾压张靓颖，但谁更好听因人而异了
本钱太好，气息太足，唱什么容错率都很高

跟着感觉走 - I agree. I think Jane’s lows were very powerful and overall. I loved her performance since it was her own spin on it. Huang xiaoyun’s version was great too. Followed the original moreso but why fix what isn’t broken haha. Loved her key changes tho and that sustained F#5 👌
Diva dance - yea. Jane had exceptional control and ease and considering her version was higher than XiaoYun’s it’s far more impressive. Huang xiaoyun’s version in Jane’s key was kind of a mess ngl but in this key she did it justice too. Both amazing!

我用所有报答爱 - can I just say. Both Jane and XiaoYun look absolutely stunning here and both sound beautiful. Though I do personally prefer Jane’s. I think the tension in her belts adds to the emotional value. But XiaoYun’s version was great too and the modulation at the end and switch into an operatic tone was a very nice addition!

非常同意你张靓颖和黄霄云就像妈妈和女儿的说法，一个已然退下锋芒，不再打“技术流”人设，现在靠“中低音”的扎实，感情“充沛“；一个就像开的正扎眼的牡丹，高音低音感情音色律动找不到拖后腿的地方。何等的前辈后辈之感 ！
单说歌曲
跟着感觉走：张的版本不差，不过要比扎实，比流畅度，比高音，黄输在调没张低么？ 张在歌手里一直拿不到好名次导致仓皇退赛，就跟她喜欢选女高音的歌又喜欢主歌降调有关系，感情是一回事，唱不到音是另一回事。
Diva dance： 两个人都不怎么样，流畅度都欠
天下无双：黄霄云非常出圈的一首歌，最后一句转音请问张有一次唱出来过么？如果要配合语嫣的仙，那么更空灵更游刃有余的歌唱更适合，靓颖如果现在跟黄一起竞争这首歌，可能会跟张芯一样的结果。
一路之下：没听过，不予置评 。
我用所有表达爱：大气蓬勃的歌曲要配上足够厚重的演唱方式，张的版本非常好！黄在张的基础上加重了各种渲染，高音也更加扎实。
如果说黄哪里比不过张，绝对不是技术，先天条件， 而是缺的作品，机遇和时间。
ps：黄的音色一直被人诟病记不住，就像早期的baby一样，美的太“百变”了，并不是啥大好事。

其实面包刚出道的时候是更像Jane的风格。 但是上了学以后很明显走了另一条理论上完善加强的路， 所以凭着面包的天赋， 一定会后来居上。2020-2030说是面包的时代一点不错。

Personally I would prefer HXY's youthful voice more, but gotta say that Jane had the better skill here by comparison (not sure how much sound editing is involved in those clips though). HXY just have a bit more flaws in those performance but I probably wouldn't have noticed them if it wasn't next to Jane.

黄是属于类似体制选手唱法（参考姚贝娜），得分都很高，而张的唱功更多是自身独有的（比如中音区的穿透力），很多歌闭上眼睛一听就知道是张，而黄缺少这种辨识度。至于咬字和情感经验也有关系，黄情感不足较明显，年级大些应该会改善。
除了五组两个人差不多之外 黄在各方面都是下风的 低音都是叹气 四组五组大白嗓 头声敏捷度不如张

I always think Jane's strongest skill is not the high note but her voice control. Her high note is rather thin but her control is really amazing.
Bun has better talent imo. Her high note is smooth and thick. Of course both are top-tier singer.
Bun is better only in opera type singing. Jane for everything else. Jane is the one with thick and smooth voice outside of super high octaves. Bun's low notes are super raspy, but her high notes are amazing. Like God status for opera

i think everyone here try to be too much "politically correct" and too easy on Jane, most parts of the songs were pretty much on par for both but when it comes to head voices Huang won by far. Just listen to both of their control on the ending of the head voices, Huang has so much more control and can do what ever she wants with no problem at all but as for Jane she sounded like she is rushing to finish it and no more room to do anything else. Be honest to yourself and take bias out and listen to this video again and you will get what i am talking about.
You must be joking, Jane has the better head voice by far and is way more consistent, she not only supports higher but pretty much never falters, Huang has a long way to go before being able to match Jane.
Yes, I agree. Huang has much better voice control, more powerful head and chest voices. Zhang is a gifted pop singer but lacks of proper training. If one does a Fourier transform on some of their notes, one can tell the difference from the distribution of the peaks and spectral shapes.

张的天赋与黄相比确实差了一些，加上黄有美声专业素养做基底，明显发声稳定性更体现专业素养基本功，只能说黄还远没摸到天花板的情况下，已经把张的的曲子唱的比张还好，天下无双就是最好的证明，张自己的现场真的差黄不少……
内娱歌坛如今是资本和饭圈的狂欢，这样的实力唱将得不到伯乐真的令人唏嘘。希望黄霄雲在30岁前能爬到属于她的位置吧

Not fair to compare, Zhang has much longer performance experiences, Huang has clearly much stronger vocal quality especially in dolphins range, so smooth and stable.

Why does huangxiaoyun copy everything that Jane does?? It’s legit annoying🙄 from the song 一路之下to 海豚音,to the many many songs that Jane sings
It’s ok to copy sometimes. Whenever she performs on famous shows, we most certainly changes up the songs to suit her better. I think she only mainly copies Jane when singing for her social media to not only showcase her incredible abilities, but also because Jane is a huge inspiration to her :)

I also had that same impression of being a copycat, when more and more songs sang by Jane will eventually be sang by her. She needs to walk her own path to be successful, and not copy the path walked by someone who is successful. This makes her less unique and being seen as walking behind someone’s shadow.
