Oddly, Led Zeppelin open doors for him and gave him an opportunity very few people will ever know. In the beginning, Jimmy was able to get the right connections and meetings, and had some fame going for him, even though JPJ was right there with him. But when Zeppelin took over the world, JPJ had the opportunity to show his talent to the entire world. But, Jimmy was the lead guitarist, so one thing JPJ couldn't do, was play the lead guitar. At least not on an album, or live. But that riff on Black Dog that everyone loves to hear Jimmy play, was actually put together by JPJ. There's possibly others as well, although, anytime we heard them, we hear Jimmy. So while Led Zeppelin did open many doors for John Paul, he was also slightly limited in the band. But he could play anything. Still can. He also has played on, did the sound, produced albums by many other famous artist. It's amazing how people act like it was Jimmy, Robert, Bonzo, and that other guy. After Zeppelin, he has stepped out and showed what he's made of, but I'm not completely sure that people realize that it's "that other guy from Led Zeppelin. 🤘🤘
I have never heard this version of no quarter before and I'm a big led zeppelin fan. I have heard most versions of no quarter but this one take the cake. John Paul Jones really tears into the piano solo so masterfully. Thank you for putting this up.
Simply Mr. John Richard Baldwin 🎵🎼🎶🎹🎤😎👊 Simply Mr. James Patrick Page 🎵🎼🎶🎸😎👊 Simply Robert Anthony Plant 🎵🎼🎶🎤😎👊 Simply Mr. John "Bonzo" Henry Bonham Rip 😭🙏 Simply Awesome This Version Alive 🎼🎶🎹🎤🎸😎👊
…boy…Robert had a rough night at this gig. It’s usually the way after returning from a brief respite. This was the first gig back after a three wk break. Thank goodness for JPJ and Bonzo cuz the other two out front were not at their best on this tour.

anyone know what show this is?
Yes, purposeful video. This ish is crazy.
Better than Pink Floyd.
This is the led zeppelin I loved growing up not the robert plant lemon in my face zeppelin all tho many of my gfs back then would argue for both jmo.
I could watch JPJ all day
Tbh I coulda done without Jimmy's noodling.
That was fucking horrible. It sounded like a teen band in a garage except towards the end.
I love zeppelin alot but I have to agree with you, it didn't sound according to plan.
Really Jimmy page is the only one who sounds truly awful
Who is playing bass? I thought it was jones who would be playing it at the Rhodes. But it seams its not.
@@arturmangolim9385 Maybe with his feet (like an organ has)
