104k miles on the 13JKUR fully loaded here (minus remote start which I wish I had) and am in process of changing out almost all fluids as per service interval. Learned so much on youtube to make doing the work myself easier. Thank you for your video. For what it is worth, my jeep never had any issues. I drive with a light foot and use engine brake in the auto quite often. Had death wobble once then changed out rest of suspension components that was stock on my 35's with 3.5" lift. Surprised to find my diff oil not sludgy and no metal shavings in any of the magnets. Transfer case oil looks really good by sight. Waiting for a jack and jack stand to arrive today so i can get to the transmission filter. Not looking forward to change out PCV valve but since the manifold will be off for the spark plugs and coils replacement, it'll make that task a tad bit easier perhaps. Thank you for the video!
I picked up a 2012 Wrangler Sport a couple weeks ago with 103K miles for my son's 15th birthday. I've had all the fluids changed, the spark plugs and coils packs are most definitely next. Great video man, just what I was looking for.
I own a 2013 JKUR 10A. 62,000 miles. This vid is 4 years old now. It appears that i have some time left before I dive into a 100K maintenance! Not that much of what he is doing i have already done on upgrades. Nice series.
First time I changed my manual transmission fluid, I had the same thing so I wouldn’t worry too much. What I will recommend is using amsoil syncromesh, I recently switched over and it shifts much smoother and feels less notchy. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for sharing. I watched your video then changed my rear, front diff, manual transmission fluid and transfer case. Will tackle the plugs, coils and intake gaskets another day.
My Champion spark plugs were not gapped correctly from O’Reillys. Double checking is the best policy, couldn’t believe it. One plug has oil buildup indicating a bad valve cover gasket. Will replace that one day down the road. Replaced the coils with MSD Coil packs and everything runs great. Idle is at 600rpm.
@@Booger__King Yeah, definitely worth double checking, good job man! How many miles on your Jeep? Luckily the valve cover gaskets should be fairly easy but I used to think replacing sparks plugs was a 30 minute job ha.
i was torn between a late model TJ w/ the 4.0 or a 2013+ JK glad I went with the TJ... the 4.0 is easier to work on it seems than a JK... still love the JK tho
How much do you think you spent on fluids, a shop just quoted me $1200 for a full service for my 100k service. I much rather do it myself I’m just inexperienced and nervous to mess up my car but this leads me to believe I can’t mess up
Should have popped the pumpkin on the diffs, and inspect and clean at the same time. Then new gasket and put back. It's a few minutes extra and will tell you if there are bigger issues from those metal shavings
104,000 miles 2013 Black Unlimited Moab edition. I’ve done lots of cool mods. My favorite might be adding led lights with a mercury switch to both glove box compartments. Tedious work but I can see what’s inside now lol
The majority of my suspension/steering updgrades have been teraflex, in regards to the springs/coils I'm fairly happy with them, if I had to do it over again I would probably ask teraflex what they recommend. With the lift I put on, larger tires, and increased weight all around, OEM wasn't the solution for me. The springs I feel are a little stiff on the road without being weighed down, they feel great when weighed down with all of my trail gear and overlanding gear, but I don't like how it sags in the back when weighed down. Not sure that helped but that's my overall impression of those springs. I'm super happy with the Teraflex steering components, would maybe experiment with other springs next time though.
I mean you waited till 90,000 miles and change your transmission fluid yeah your doing damage to the Trans. Every 30,000 miles max between changes..why did you remove the alternator to change the belt, you don't have to..and you never use aftermarket parts for coils, plug wires, or anything electronic. And while making videos turn off the music!

Awesome man, good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

Anybody ever say you look like George St Pierre? Lol keep up the cross fit!!

@@Booger__King Haha, yeah, actually I've been told that a couple times, wish I could bring it like he can though!
“Shit”...it shoots out really far lol
Great vid

I had a TJ as well, so much easier to work on, seemed so straight forward compared to the JK's.

Thanks for the tip! I needed you there! Next time, which is probably this winter, I'll do it that way!

I do my diffs & Transfer case every 25k miles, suck out and replace 2 quarts of ATF with every oil change.
Great 👍 video enough details, great pro tips!
How did those coils work out for you? Typically I prefer oem with those parts because sometimes they don't work well with aftermarket.

Great info .
Where did you get your headlight

My JK just hit 100k but instead of sparks plugs and gaskets I'm stuck with piston rings or a new engine😅
@Chris Brown Dang, that sounds like a lot less fun than changing the sparks plugs, and that wasn't high on the fun scale. How did that happen?
I think I missed the power steering flush🤔🤔
I didn't quite "flush" the PS fluid, I used a "highly technical" pump and pumped out the old and replaced it with new fluid.
I want to be friends with you hahaha great video man!!
Haha, did we just become best friends? Yup!!!

Anything else positive to say?
Shorthand: All the maintenance you did at 50k...but again.
I'll give ya a dollar to help me do mine lol
Ha, I'm not sure my services are worth that much but I'll take it! Thanks for watching!
Oprah? Uma. Uma? Oprah
NeroSATx it’s a reference to David Letterman making a joke about Uma Thurman and Oprah Winfrey at the 1994 Oscars
I'm old! I def remember that. He bombed and sent him into a years-long depression!
