- Welcome to BLKMEN CAN TALK, a show where Black Canadian men come together to have real, unfiltered conversations about life, culture, and community.
Your hosts are Paul Osbourne aka Kofi Sadat, Kofi Morris and Dr. Vibe™.
Our guest on the December 1, 2024 show was Joseph Corley.
Joe will be live on our show today at 8p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific. He will be talking about "The Loneliness of Black Men".
Joe Corley is a Licensed Therapist, Mental Wellness Consultant, and educator with a 20-year career in education and mental health. He holds master’s degrees in both Education and Counseling. After years of teaching, Joe recognized that his talents could have a deeper impact beyond the classroom. During his own personal healing journey, he uncovered the transformative power of therapy and mental wellness, particularly within the BIPOC community.
In response, Joe founded Real U Behavioral Health Consulting, PLLC, dedicated to addressing the stigma and gaps in mental health care for people of color. He also serves as a therapist at a teen and adolescent mental health center, a role that speaks to his passion for helping others overcome trauma, inspired by his own childhood experiences. Through therapy, public speaking, and his podcast Vulnerability is the New Sexy, Joe aims to guide people of color into mental health spaces with grace, empathy, and vulnerability.
