My New Moon Moon Soundtrack (Track 7): Race by Licorice Moonlight

PLEASE, PLEASE READ FIRST! This song is much different than the rest of my New Moon soundtrack. All the other songs are by other people, but this one is by me (Licorice Moonlight is the band I'm in, and I wrote both the lyrics and music for this song). It was the first song I ever really started writing (though it wasn't the first one I finished), back before the Breaking Dawn book had even come out. It took me about 7, 8, or 9 months to write (I lost track). When it was finished, I really considered trying to get this on to the official New Moon soundtrack. But when I saw that people like Kelly Clarkson were trying to get on to it as well, I chickened out. Why on earth would Summit pick my song for the New Moon soundtrack by me, an unknown songwriter who doesn't even have an album out yet? They wouldn't. Plus I had no idea how to get my song to them. But when I started writing my own New Moon score and organizing my own New Moon soundtrack, I thought "to the heck with the official New Moon soundtrack, I'll put Race on my own soundtrack." And, if I do say so myself, I think it goes very nicely with this part.
I'm sorry for the horrible quality, but again all I had to record with was my microscopic mp3 microphone. I haven't had access to a recording studio...yet. This is actually only the acoustic version. I'd like to later get more drum and guitar action into this, but at the moment all I have is my digital piano.
