    Everyone who has been taking care of their skin for awhile (decades for me) should know it absolutely takes 12 weeks. I wasn’t seeing much because I was doing basic things already but at 3 months the change was noticeable - remarkable- so give it time.

    I began using One Skin on my body and after about 3 months, I noticed I could no longer FEEL my stretch marks (I had a lot). My skin felt nearly smooth--I could still SEE the stretchmarks, but they were considerably diminished. I believe this product works. I wish I'd taken before and afters!!!

    I have been using it for about three months now and I absolutely do notice a difference. My skin just feels most substantive and smooth. It’s not a “quick fix” product; you have to give it time. I purchase the face and body supplement. My only complaint is that I do have a hard time getting either product to last me the full month. I like to use the face supplement on my face, neck, and chest so normally I’ll add a squirt of the body supplement to 2-3 squirts of the face supplement so that it covers all of those areas - that’s my little “tip”. Just wish they each contained a BIT more product.

    • @iriskaufman5048
      @iriskaufman5048 2 года назад +3

      Me too ! I’ve been using the body lotion on certain areas of concern and it lasts me about one month. I think it would take at least two bottles to use on my entire body for one month. If I had that kind of budget I certainly would be using it all over!

    • @PhenixJoe
      @PhenixJoe 2 года назад +4

      Yeah same boat! It’s definitely not intended to be for the entire body but rather more of a targeted treatment for problem areas on the body. I don’t even put it everywhere and I don’t think I’m using an exorbitant amount but I always run out like 18 to 20 days into the month. I also run out of the face lotion early but not quite as early as with the body.

    Your questions are incredible thank you so much! I think the biggest thing holding me back is simply lack of room in my current routine. I am trying to give most things at least three months to sort of earn their place in my permanent routine but I have been looking at this and will likely try it next. I guess it’s just difficult even rotating things in “first position” because I really wanna put my money behind the ingredients with the most research. If it comes difficult to discern newer research versus marketing. It’s still a bit of a process but this video is incredibly helpful so thank you so much!

    I love you PENN. I love One Skin. I would likely buy anything that you give this much attention to. I need to know now how to incorporate retinol, vitamin C, Co-Q, Ultimate Serum, Photozyme, Emepelle and Defenage. AND, I must know where you found that adorable blouse.

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  2 года назад

      First, thank you for being so very nice. It means a lot to me.
      So I use almost all of that myself-here’s how I do it.
      At night is my retinoids, OneSkin, Revivserum and photozyme. I rotate Revivserum, photozyme and OneSkin in first position (but often it’s reviv then photozyme then OneSkin just based on their consistency).
      I now use Q10 (just added it to my AM routine) and already vitamin C, astaxanthin (among other things). I rotate those things as well (I do not use them all every day. My skin doesn’t like it lol).
      So that’s the split.
      If I still used emepelle cream it would be at night and it would be considered my retinoid. I am using a retinoid every 3rd night right now but may go back to every other night in the fall.
      I’ll admit, it’s like a huge puzzle and I’m not perfect. I just try to listen to my skin and do my best.
      It’s hard when there are SO many great things to use-I know that sometimes I actually just need to put one down (emepelle for me) because I just can’t do it all.
      I hope this insight helps in SOME way 🥰

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  2 года назад

      Another piece of insight that helps me-
      I look at my skin like my diet or my supplements. Rather than day to day, look at it week to week or even sometimes month to month. Balance what you want to “feed” your skin by the week and it’s much easier to get it all in. Food for thought (no pun intended 😉)

    I have been using OneSkin for about a month after I saw your video on it, and I like it! It's early days for judging results though.
    I actually just watched yesterday's video with the new Exponent products and I had a question in the comments that I hope you won't mind if I add it here too:
    I checked out the Hydrator ingredients, the 4th in the list is a dimethicone, and in the powder ingredients two of the top three are also. I know that they are supposed to provide some sort of barrier to "lock in" moisture, etc., but doesn't that work both ways? Won't using a product with a lot of dimethicone early in your routine also prevent absorption of products layered on top of it?
    I hope you know more about this than I do - I can't seem to find any information about layering on top of dimethicone-heavy ingredients. :)

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  2 года назад +7

      I am going to ask someone smarter than me about the occlusive nature of dimethicone. I know (obviously) that silicones CAN be occlusives but I assume that there are ways to formulate silicones so that they are more or less occlusive.
      I agree, it’s important regarding the exponent-I’m using it first so obviously I do not want it blocking other things out.
      I’ll do my best to get some answers and be back! 💜

      Personally I think this compliments vitamin A and also DNA repair enzymes.
      The repair works in different ways (dna repair enzymes and OneSkin) and tret encourages cellular turn over (which the other 2 do not).
      Emepelle is different as well with MEP technology-mimicking estrogen.
      That said, personally I would choose this over emepelle (after using both. I think emepelle is a very nice product but I like OneSkin better myself).
      I hope that helps ❤️

    I would like to hear from OneSkin representatives regarding this issue: People are commenting that their bottle doesn’t even last one month. That is contradicted by the OneSkin website’s FAQ section where you can read the following:
    Q.How long will my Topical Supplement last?
    A. “We estimate the 50 ml bottle of OS-01 FACE will last approximately 1-3 months when used as directed. The 250 ml bottle of OS-01 BODY will last approximately 1-2 months, when used as directed.”
    If this is accurate, then that means the cost is less per month for those of us that are budgeting.
    Could some be using too much product or more than necessary for results?
    I get that how much of the body formula used can range greatly, depending on number areas it’s used on.
    But the face product use should be better able to estimate using on face once or twice daily.

    • @ALT-vz3jn
      @ALT-vz3jn 2 месяца назад

      In the directions they say to apply 1-2 pumps to the face. I find that one pump is plenty to cover my face, and I use a sunscreen on top in the day and tretinoin at night.

My only point, and I think the one you missed, is that OneSkin is actually changing the health and resilience of skin cells, helping them ward off things like cancer and cell-destroying inflammation. Yes, Sculptra can help you diminish wrinkles and rebuild lost volume and collagen, but I would personally rather my skin (and my body) BE healthier than LOOK younger.
