There's about like 5 sets left on the (6) not one. The (6) train had more than 5 sets but the (6) gave some of its r142a's to the (4) line so the (4) line has more r142a's.
By the way the remaining R142As on (6) are now on the (7) meaning that the remaining R62As are now gone from the (7). I love seeing the R142As on the 6 as well as the R62As on the 7 its sad to see them gone from their respectable routes
Andrew Campbell Untrue. The only complaint about the 6 line is the overcrowding and long dwell times, and the MTA has decided to resolve it by adding two additional R62A 6 trains to the schedule (one during the AM rush and one during the PM rush). That should be sufficient.

The Flushing 7 line needed those R142As more than the 6 line and the 6 line was begging for the extra R62As the 7 had to increase service, that way the rush hour overcrowding and long dwell times can end and people can actually get to their damn jobs/classes/activities on time.

Yea theres only 1 set on the 6 Left and its usually in the yard and not running. These were recorded a while back.

the R142as from the 6 got converted to R188s on the 7 line. The R62as from the 7 replaced the R142as on the 6.
