Unexpected- very lucky- close encounter with a rarity that had showed up near here a few days earlier.... I did not creep up on it, it crept up on me... Very happy with this shaky video.
The area has been good for apparently single singing males almost every summer since recording at waarneming.nl started. Most likely, this specific bird was first heard on June 26th.
