I agree. I am a Texan and used to work for a call center. I would speak to people from all over the country, but when I spoke with people from the South, east Coast, and Midwest, their English was hard to understand most of the time. I had to have them repeat what they were saying many times.

American border security and immigration policies are far less comprehensive. Less focused on actually screening and taking people in or out and much more focused on politicking and defence. Because of that asylum seekers, workers and regular immigrants who should have their cases processed swiftly are waiting months if not literal decades. Not to mention the myriad of other insane issues with immigration that make the current situation at the border worse.
In this chaos is where cartels and gangs thrive, and while yes a lot is coming through the less patrolled areas of the border. Most illegal drugs come in through *LEGAL POINTS OF ENTRY* . You simply cannot have strong border security without proper immigration policies. And visa versa. She of all people should know that.

They grew up as Americans, attended school as Americans, and worked as Americans...they grew up with a greater love for America than many who were born here...through no fault of their own they believed their parents were legal American citizens...you want to take that away from them? I would never expect my "new country" to do that for me. I'm trying to prove that I will not accept public assistance while in the process of permanent residency/ naturalization.

Whether who's right or wrong on the panel regarding an issue is subjective BUT the biggest farce is that Republicans are deliberately and openly saying they will not solve an issue because it will help Biden but they don't realize their inaction can also help Biden and Democrats in Congress. Republican congressman Chip Roy of all people confronted his fellow Republicans for not passing anything and have nothing to run on in an election year.
