Thank you Dr.Dixit for this information. You are saying that fruits are not good for diabetes. Other well known Doctors/Naturopath (for example Dr. Biswaroop Roy Choudhury , Medical medical Anthony William)says that fruits are good and in fact help to heal the diabetes. Two contrasting opinions. I have a question for Dr. Dixit. Sir, Do you have published patients data which clearly indicates that eating fruits do more harm than cure for diabetes patients ? Any references will be helpful.
Best way is to experiment on yourself. Measure your HbA1c and fasting insulin tomorrow. Then for 3 months eat fruits as advised by some naturopath/doctor. Again measure your parameters. If you see increase in HbA1c and fasting insulin then don't eat fruits! And let us know about your results.

Seeing the serious side effects of it we removed her medicine completely. She is not taking any medicine since last 1.5 years. Her Hba1c is used to be above 9/9.5 (appx average) before. We started giving her 1 fresh sugarcane juice almost everyday. She regularly eats bananas, chiku. 70% of her everyday diet has different types of fruits almost everyday. When we started this, we observed that- 1. Her energy levels drastically improved and almost consistent in the last 1.5 years. 2. Her iron levels were very low. It became almost normal, may be because of sugarcane juice. 3. She used to suffer from acidity. It has completely gone within 10 days of starting a fruit diet. 4. Her Hba1c has come down from 9.5 to 6.5 in the last 1.5 years. It reduced slowly. Her latest report (April 27, 2024) shows that her Hb1c is 6.5. 5. She didn't take any Ayurvedic or any other type of medication. Below books were extremely helpful to get convinced about fruit diet. a. The Detox Miracle Sourcebook by Dr. Rober Morse. b. Thanks for sharing your experience. The progress from 9 to 6.5 is good but very slow. Still she is diabetic. Keeping blood sugar high for a longer time, can cause end organ damage. In this campaign we have seen HbA1c reducing from above 10 to below 6 in 4 to 6 months! She can try our lifestyle to become nondiabetic

Nondiabetic can eat one or two fruits in a day. Eating too many fruits is bad for health. You can find out effect of eating fruits on your HbA1c and fasting insulin and then decide for yourself.
The important thing is fibres which does not allow sugar to be show its effect, the fruits contain a good amount of fibres so eating fruit is no way bad for the body. Dr Dixit is talking of outdated facts.
