Here in Gulf countries also in Lulu Arbi ka patta available hai some times. So at that time I make Patrode. My family loves it. Since we are Mangaloreans we make it without jaggery n besan. Instead we use rice, tamarind, Hing and red chili’s in large number. Every Mangalorean n person from Udupi-Manipal side knows it very well.
