I rewatched this episode just last week, and had to laugh - when Sulu follows Kirk's orders for the Enterprise to leave orbit, George Takei goes a little overboard hitting buttons on his control board, and Eddie Paskey (Lt Leslie) looks at him, in a kind of double take, that I'm sure wasn't scripted. 😏
I thought it was funny in the movie Galaxy Questa they did a reference to this episode when the captain was asked if he could make a rudimentary lathe when in a similar predicament.
Another good episode you guys are doing great job enjoy watching you and drinking with you
The Gorn kept saying, "Mmm BOLSHOI!" Like he wanted to go to the ballet or something.
This is the quintessential Star Trek episode - the one everybody thinks about when they think about STOS.
I remember watching this as a kid when the show first aired. Hiding behind my mom's chair peeking out from the side watching the scary monster! Lol

When I think about the serpent in the Garden I think that it must have looked like a Gorn. All lizardy until God took his arms and legs off.
