Jake was told many times to look more sexy or more fierce in front of the camera, if you watch the stage of chamber 5 you can definitely see Jungwon being awkward in front of the camera. ILAND helped them improve so much, but yes I agree with the fact that overall, idols are getting better and better from the start.
The album is NO SKIP! They performed all the songs in their debut show and all of those are bops and the choreography? *chef's kiss* Their duality is insane as well!

Okay, I was SPEECHLESS, I had GOOSEBUMPS all over my body the entire time and let me tell you, It doesn't happen often! The concept is just amazing, the song is so powerful, the choreography is wonderful and the mv is just perfect. Really, the story and mv is interesting, captivating, and keep you on your toes, their acting is great and the last shot is so powerful yet creepy. I love the vibe that we're getting in this one, strong, powerful, creepy. I can't wait to see this life - it's gonna be a bomb! This was an amazing debut in my opinion and one of the strongest this year. Can't wait for more from them!
The reason there wasn't a full rap part is because none of them were originally a rapper. I think Big Hit is making Jay and Niki (maybe Jake too) the rappers, but they're only learning to rap so I think we can wait more raps in the future. Also as a Hannie (Hanbin's fandom name) I can tell you he will debut sooner or later! He promised himself and we're believing in him
Actually heeseung is the one CONFIRMED trained rap but heeseung more focus on vocals that's why and Jake,jay and ni-ki can rap attractively but I think bighit doesn't put rap their bcuz they want to focus in vocals muna ( hoping that bighit will give them rap in next )

I don't think it's necessary for a group to have rappers. I honestly like their songs like this without any rap. It sounds fresh for a boy group and it reminds me of GFriend a bit.
I suggest you watch i-land bcoz you'll understand why these participants won and also at the same time know their qualities, strengths and weaknesses. Yes you will get attached to some participants but the final line up is still pretty satisfactory. Also the songs on the show give you a better understanding of their sound. So I wish you would watch the show. Don't hold back, your going to enjoy the show a lot while getting to know the members well.
I totally understand you, I got very attached to all the trainees (ESPECIALLY Hanbin) and cried so much and trust me you would fall in love with all of them! However, ENHYPEN is filled with amazing and talented young men and I cherish them with everything in me! They are definitely legends in the making!!!!

I love that they went with a different sound for their debut. Not the typical hiphop/bop nor the retro sound/look we are seeing more of lately but instead they swoop in with this dark melancholic yet powerful song that really stands on its own. It can be risky to not follow the industry in what sells well to the general public, but Enhypen is forging their own trail and I love them even more for that.
This is a new storyline. I don’t “get” it completely and I’ve been watching it for a couple days now. The whole album is out already. Also, to see them just being relaxed, they did a little show called Enhypen and Hi. Fans are Engenes. I watched I-land and did get attached to someone who didn’t make it. Oh and Hanbin was a dear. He smiled through the entire elimination and goodbyes. So young, but carrying the dream of his country. It was very moving.
You should watch the show!! I watched the show after it ended and still really enjoyed it. I grew very fond of all the trainees and we still get to hear about the ones who didn’t debut. Fans and Bighit do a good job at keep fans connected with the trainees. Franchement j'attendais vrmt pas spécialement ce début et je suis tombée dessus un peu par hasard mais wow quel coup de coeur. Le refrain est fou j'adore la musique et le mv a vrmt un style unique je trouve. Par contre OUI ils sont hyper jeunes (je suis une 2004 et y en un plus jeune que moi, j'ai l'impression d'avoir raté ma vie 😭😂)
For me, i think tge mv is inspired from an anime The Promised Neverland since some scenes are quite similar to the anime. Since in this mv, the boys were experiencing things like becoming an immortal (vampire) due to the experiments conducted. Which I conclude when there was a scene where a flashlight was flashed in jungwon's mouth to see if the experiment is successful or not as u can see in the last scene that jungwon has fangs.
To be honest, i didnt got that attached or hooked by the song at first listen. Like it lacks something for me but after 5 more listening it kinda like it now especially the chorus In terms of the acting especially the "film" style scene, i cant help but laugh hahahhaha They finally debut! I watched the show live and voted for all the members. They are young, but any underage big hit label artist will be protected and will always sing age appropriate music. We’ve seen this with TXT.
Yes, they are a young group but they are already so talented! They really grew and improved during I-Land! They are very versatile and refreshing! If you decide to stan you won't regret it!🧡
Honestly, I'd say to go ahead and still watch it. It's less emotional since you'll already know who makes it, and bang pd makes it clear that the participants chosen all have great potential and he'll do whatever he can to get them to debut, so it's likely if you get attatched you'll see them again anyway. He's already kept that word by announcing the japan group now, hanbin will clearly debut at some point, and some other contestants from the show are likely to debut in pledis' next bg. I think what's more emotional about the show now, is to see some of the boys have to part ways with their closer friends. My personal debut preference mostly included a group of boys that had clearly all been training together for a while, and seeing them have to part ways throughout the show was the hardest to watch =[[
HeeSeung is an all round center. He's the oldest in the group who won the first place in all singing and dancing contests while he was a trainee in the BIGHIT. He was so well known as the legendary trainee to other trainees in South Korea. He's selfless, very helpful to the members with dance moves, vocals as well. He makes his own songs all by himself! If you watch the ENHYPEN Dance Jam Live, you will find out how goooood he's at freestyling.
I think they are so good with cameras and emotions because in I land they were heavily criticize on that. That's one of the main point that the producers are looking going back then.

For me, i think tge mv is inspired from an anime The Promised Neverland since some scenes are quite similar to the anime. Since in this mv, the boys were experiencing things like becoming an immortal (vampire) due to the experiments conducted. Which I conclude when there was a scene where a flashlight was flashed in jungwon's mouth to see if the experiment is successful or not as u can see in the last scene that jungwon has fangs.

Honestly, I'd say to go ahead and still watch it. It's less emotional since you'll already know who makes it, and bang pd makes it clear that the participants chosen all have great potential and he'll do whatever he can to get them to debut, so it's likely if you get attatched you'll see them again anyway. He's already kept that word by announcing the japan group now, hanbin will clearly debut at some point, and some other contestants from the show are likely to debut in pledis' next bg. I think what's more emotional about the show now, is to see some of the boys have to part ways with their closer friends. My personal debut preference mostly included a group of boys that had clearly all been training together for a while, and seeing them have to part ways throughout the show was the hardest to watch =[[
HeeSeung is an all round center. He's the oldest in the group who won the first place in all singing and dancing contests while he was a trainee in the BIGHIT. He was so well known as the legendary trainee to other trainees in South Korea. He's selfless, very helpful to the members with dance moves, vocals as well. He makes his own songs all by himself! If you watch the ENHYPEN Dance Jam Live, you will find out how goooood he's at freestyling.
