@@user-nu4rq8rt2i the only positions that are officially confirmed are Heeseung being center and Jungwon being leader. I wrote the positions based off this album, that's why at the end I said 'to be fair I think they All can fill all the roles" :)
HeeSeung is an all round center. He's the oldest in the group who won the first place in all singing and dancing contests while he was a trainee in the BIGHIT. He was so well known as the legendary trainee to other trainees in South Korea. He's selfless,so helpful to the members with dance moves, vocals as well. He makes his songs all by himself !

Just a warning though, the episodes are hella long for like no damn reason🗿 I really did enjoy the show though and all the trainees. I'm so happy for all of the Enhypen members and they've been doing a lot in the last 2 months. They have a show called Enhypen and Hi that's finishing up, music show performances this weekend, a studio choom performance coming, and their performing at MAMA 😳 There's also trailers and teasers for this debut, which are super confusing as you would expect 😆
They are also in the age range of 14-20 😁

I love dark concepts though, funny enough, this group made me realize I secretly love light ones too with their chamber 5 performance lmao. They have a lot of predebut content surprisingly, it's still strange to think that they finally debuted a few days ago

Enhypen are already legends in the making!! I am so proud of how far they have come from back in June to now! I loved everything about this song and the entire album is amazing! All seven of them are doing a fantastic job!! Also, a tip if you haven't watched ILAND yet, it's probably a good idea not to get too attached to some of the trainees now especially that the group is already formed (cuz trust me it will leave you with a linger of sadness and pain), but nonetheless, I am sure all of the trainees who didn't make it will all make their debut one day too and I can't wait! :)
Definitely watch I-LAND! I think because of that show a lot of people are super attached to them because we truly see them grow so much. For the most part we still don't know positions and we can only really guess based on the show but this first EP doesn't reveal too much but it's a good introductory. I hope we get a full album in the early part of 2021.

They don't actually have a rap line (some thought they might? I'm not sure why since no one ever actually rapped in I-Land, and the 1 who was known to be *able* to rap legit said he doesn't actually want to rap). Most of them sing. The only "rap" lines are more breakdowns and short 1 sentences, but they're all vocalists. Maybe someone will learn to rap in the future and they'll put it in songs, but I don't mind if they don't. I don't think EVERY group needs rap. Even TXT with Yeonjun... Yeonjun only raps in like 5% of the songs. Most of the time he's a vocalist (and a damn good one).
I think that's how BigHit likes to do things. They have *actual* rappers in BTS, so ofc their songs have rap portions, and while Yeonjun can rap not all their songs call for it. I think Enhypen will mostly be a vocal focused group, which is a nice change to me.
heesung, bang pd said he is a great rapper and encourages & wished he prusue it more however, heesung prefers and is more personally comfortable with vocals.
but yes i understand it is best to stick to feels more you
maybe in the future when he is more comfortable with it he can try it more
plus it is better for these newer groups : txt & Enhypen to showcase their vocals more before showing rap a lot
so they do not have the kpop stereotype on them like it was for some idol rappers having a reputation that they were just made to do something that is not them & was just given the role because their pds did not think they are vocally inclined enough.

i highly recommend to watch ENHYPEN&Hi (filmed in more of a documentary style) and their debut showcase to get to know the boys. If the debut showcase is too long for you - just watch the segment in there called Border View. it gives you an intro of the boys from the boys themselves. for iland, if you dont have the time, it’s better to just watch their stage performances instead of the whole show or skip it all together.

This is a combination of my thoughts & a person named LR from another comments section...This totally gives off The Promised Neverland vibes (manga/anime). The Promised Neverland is a story that follows a group of orphaned children in their escape plan from an orphanage after they realize a dark secret -they are being cultivated as food. Except here they are cultivated as vampires/kpop idols instead of "food". You could say that the orphanage is the I-Land survival show this group was formed from, where out of 23 contestants only 7 made it. The video shows them being "made" into vampires w/ pills, and getting their fangs/eyes checked, while on I-Land they were "made" into idols. If you've seen both The Promised Neverland & I-Land, this concept is quite brilliant. “The song talks about the metamorphosis they had to go through in order to debut, how their crowns are stained with blood (the contestants who didn't make it), and also questions whether their spot/crown was "given" to them by the show/fans or they "took" it by their hard work.”

actually he was not about to debut with them~he was really new & came after they already formed the line up & they even had the name~their debut date just did not arrive yet and was even delayed two times ~
however, they still trained together like the taehyun said even though txt were already a group they still trained with heeseung in the old building in the same room and was really close to him however once they went to the new one they mostly trained separately so he did not get a chance to get as close to the other new trainees the same way as he did heeseung.
