You’re doing a great job. Everything looks like it’s coming together. Good On a different note, man you sure know how to trigger my anxiety. That’s probably a good thing
Really, really appreciate sharing your journey and your humility in your approach. In regards to the windows, did you buy “new construction” (i.e. w/ nailing flange) or “replacement” windows? If it has the nailing flange, for best odds to defeat the water from penetrating, should be nailed over the wrap (your tar paper) and then taped before siding. If you’re getting “replacement” you’ll just have to build out the “stops”. Please don’t take this as a know it all comment. Just hoping to shed light (if needed). Love the journey Mike PS -saw the Air Force fleece a few episodes ago. I enlisted in 1998 as a 3E4X2.
Thank you so much! We really want to show the real life view of things. It’s not always perfect but we sure try! We bought new construction windows. The video will be out soon but we laced them in really well and there will be a roof over the main ones so it won’t be too much of a worry. And nice! Paul was air field ops!
@ very cool. I’m very familiar with Airfield Ops. When I became an officer, I was first an Airfield Operations Officer and went through training at Keesler. Merry Christmas to your family.
You are making so much wonderful progress. I'm sure it is tiring but keep at it and you will get it done in no time! I forget, though... Did you buy the property or lease it? Or maybe rent to own? Would be a shame for all your hard work to go to someone else in a few years.
Thank you so much! It’s hard work but we are being sure not to overwork ourselves and still enjoy life. We are leasing it long term. We have a great relationship with the property owners and are looking at this property like we would if we owned it. ❤️

Just nice suggestion would be to insulate the floor as much as possible. It’s so helps in the winter time. Many blessings from North Texas.❤
Hi! Yes we are doing the best we can with insulation.
