No, I think keeping his mother safe is the source of his paranoia. She's the one who's most at risk, and he's doing everything he can think of to keep her safe. (TBF who wants to lose their mother when they're that close to her?) He's not a monster, he's just scared. No reason to kill her.
Could be an animal, though. I wouldn't put it past him to burn a dog/cat/raccoon/rat for the sake of keeping any possible carriers away from his mom.
Gary wouldn't have purposely killed anyone ( in his family). But if they died while under his watch, he might burn the body to keep the others safe from disease/viruses.
These stories are scary but they piss me off morw than anything...

Im not glad to say this but here in Philippines, everytime a police enforcer appears I know an impending danger is about to happen instead of feeling secured, defeating the purpose of their presence.

i am from Philippines and it is really scary how our government treat this pandemic issue into highest level of violating human rights. Many activists were killed in the span of March-September and it is terrifying for us.

Narcissist. These people trip me out. Had never broken any bones in my life until the day I broke my hand. Might I add I also had a ruptured eardrum. Dealing with someone who snapped over every and anything. It was 3 days before I was allowed to go to the ER.
To the cat guy, I’d still adopt the cat take it over to see her, playing Sarah McLachlan’s in the arms of an angel, punch her directly in the face then take my cat home to live it’s best life.

That story involving gary is just showing his true colors. Martin: you're very naive. gary may be your neighbor but, he's nobodies friend. I'd make sure to be hostile towards him from now on. Definitely wouldn't tolerate his attitude and behavior.
I completely agree. People show you who they really are when things are looking bad. If Gary is going to point a gun at his supposed friend who came to check on him, then Gary was probably always that crazy. It just took this pandemic to see it.

I would've called the police.
I have been in that exact situation before: the apartment above listening to violent sounds, only I went to talk to them first with my protective mother in tow. Once they opened the door, a bloodly man on a woman's shoulder asking for help was seen for seconds before my mother yanked me down the hall and upstairs. We called the police a lot in that building. A woman down the hall was bruised and bloodly sobbing against her door in the hallway, I offered to call for help and brought her inside so mom could calm her before the police and ambulance arrived. The neighbor's boyfriend beat her bloodly and locked her out of the apartment with nothing. We called the police for her many times and she was always grateful for the care. We gave her food and water. Bandages and kind words, she wasn't the tenant so eventually she stopped coming. I just hope he didn't harm anyone else and that she pressed charges.
Story 5....man, I really hope that guy gets serious help. The fact he would even AGREE without hesitation to hurt an animal to "prove love" to somebody, especially somebody he has only met online shows that guy has some serious issues. Glad he seemed to come to his senses in the end but both of them sounded like sickos tbh.

The story about the self cutting, to me, it seemed like he was trying to prove just how easy it is to manipulate him. I don't get how anyone can fall for someone they just met on the internet.. I hope that girl or if it is even a girl, gets whats coming to her as she sounds like a terrible human being.

This just goes to show that the US is VERY lucky in still being able to go out without being treated like the people from those first two stories. People need to stop complaining about lockdown, it is for our and everybody else’s safety.

There aren’t any restrictions at all in my country and clearly it’s not working out well because thousands of people have died already purely because the government won’t do anything. It’s completely out of control, no one is even getting tested and at this point it’s too late anyway. The state epidemiologist said on TV that he expects a third of the population will be or have been sick by mid May and still no one seems to even care. I’m no authoritarian but I think there needs to be crystal clear guidelines and strong leadership in a situation like this.

Us Americans are so damn entitled, I hate that there are people acting like spoiled brats because their “prom is canceled”, or because their “spa is closed”, when there are thousands of people dying. Story 3, if he us continually threatening you by holding a hammer when you pass by start recording it. If he escalates record it. It will no longer be a you say they day, you will have evidence and can act of it to protect yourself and others in the building.

M C I’m in NB. Yeah I may not have worded that correctly. We can still go out for groceries and food and walks and parks. But if you’re driving around unnecessarily and the police catch you, there can be a fine. Although we are in our first stages of recovery plan... So there is a little bit more allowed. But it’s still very strict here. It may be different in BC idk

As a Filipino, Duterte is not the best. It isn’t just about the extrajudicial killings. He is far too comfortable with China that he accepted China’s loan than Japan’s offer with a much lower interest. Did he not know about communist regimes? Never trust communists! Malaysia’s Prime Minister even warned him about accepting loans from Communist China. Did you not ever wonder why other Asian countries refuse to accept loans from China? It is disappointing to see many Filipinos blindly praise him and defend their beloved Duterte.

And i think the president knows what he's doing. the reason that led slow inflows of official development assistance (ODA) coming from china was because they are cautious. Lastly, please refrain from acting as if you know more than anyone esp. the president about anything. clearly we both have different opinion about the president but i respect that. i just hope you dont spread false news about him.
People truly paint him as Satan's spawn? Seems to me that story came from someone very much against him,having to bring up someone's past mistakes to make him look bad for those who do not know him as a president. There's probably nobody the guy with the cat could call about that psycho? I wonder if she's asked other guys to hurt innocent animals for her. She deserves to be in jail at the least. I have NO tolerance for animal abusers, whether she actually abuses the animal herself or not. That story pissed me off to no end.
Mountain lions are rare in my area but not unheard of, never occurred to me that they might be prowling around more with the lockdown. Definitely will keep an eye out when I babysit my nieces and nephew.

The original, re-edited and restored version of Stephen King's "The Stand" is without a doubt his best work. Most other SK novels are excellent; satisfying and incredibly frightening, intense and very memorable. His non-horror stories are still an excellent and fabulous read. My favorite non-horror book(s) of his are still absolutely worth the read and make wonderful yet less-intensely creepy reads that can still make the blood freeze. He is the Master of Horror; always has been and always will be. What a perfect intro to yet ANOTHER great video LR! (I know this was just a promotion you were required to include, but I'm willing to bet you're an SK fan too!) I love the video and even though it is scary and it deals with the horrors and the realities of non-paranormal events, it proves that human beings can be so much more dangerous and scary than any demon, ghost, shadow person or cryptid. People can be absolutely evil and certainly be the instrument of some of the most devious, cruel and horrifying acts that can make even the most horrendous nightmare fuel creatures or demonic entities seem like rotten, petulant little children in comparison. Just unreal. WTF? 🙁😢🤬
