DMARDs: Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatoid Drugs

This video briefly illustrates the major concepts of DMARDs. The video starts with balancing the benefits and drawbacks of NSAIDs and corticosteroids in management of rheumatoid arthritis. Then it briefly compares between DMARDs and biologics. The main DMARDs are mentioned in the video.
Special attention was given to suggested mechanism of action of methotrexate and leflunomide drugs.
