💯 i told my parents freshman year of high school that this was literallly going to go nowhere and they just assumed i was going to magicallly get a career because i attended class lol the amount of money wasted was enough to me to literallly buy a home and now i still cant afford a damn home 🤮😔🥵

I'm a Quality engineering supervisor at a large automotive company, and my wife is a senior IT analyst for a major corporation.....and we can't afford a home. We were renting beginning march of 2020 until we got married and have been waiting for the market to change to buy, but it's been 2 years and we are still renting. It blows our mind that we cant afford just a normal house with a little land. Our area in NC is getting completely ravaged by large companies and out of state people buying up all the land and building apartments.... it's crazy and flat out unsustainable. More ranting please, I'll rant with you next time 👊

We’ve even had some good conversation on IG. Me and the wife are expecting baby #2 and we have been renting the same house since we moved to Florida just because we got in so cheap here in Tampa. Our plan is to be in a good position financially to purchase our first home within a year give or take. We pushing more towards new construction builds. Can you make crazy offers for new construction builds? I know they are a hot topic down here in SW FL. They go quick. And as they go, the prices of the remaining new construction builds just sky rocket as well. It’s crazy. Thanks for the valuable info as always!
I want to buy a home with a boat lift and canal access to the water but I've come to the reality that's not going to happen I make 95k in IT, my wife is going to school for nursing we as a family will never have the ability to buy a home we want because we can't pay 900k, so we are living in a house we paid 180k in 2018, too much out of state money comes into this state. also, I an't buying a nice boat any time soon they are about 250k for a simple boat not keeping up with Jones boat. I feel pretty worthless and on paper, in Florida, I should be middle class but my buying power is the lower class for sure , I think Crimes going to rise next as you're forcing middle class into lower class I think people are going to lose everything and have nothing more to lose at some point soon.
But at the same time, the stock market is going crazy. Why is that if the economy is so bad? After all, the stock market is supposed to be a leading indicator of the economy. My investments have doubled in the last three years or so-- I'm up $200K in 2024 already!
Easy. We’ve printed 12 trillion dollars as a nation in the last 4 years. When you put unnecessary money into circulation it ends up in either the stock market or real estate inflating the market. Basically the price of the stock is way higher than the actual value of the company. We are a very unstable economy because of that. You can make a lot of money right now in the market though for sure.

I am actually seeing developers take lower offers right now as the market continues to slow.
