Yes... Marco (the bassist) also sings. In Nightwish he's mostly backup vocals and some harmonies, though there are a few songs where he takes the lead. Also, so you fully understand that he really is a talented vocalyst in his own right... back in 1982 he and his brother started their own metal band (in which in continued even while being with Nightwish) called Tarot in which he was/is the lead vocalyst. So he's been singing for at least 40 years

You asked "is that a bass making that sound?". AFAIK, the driving guitar rhythm is a combination of Marko on his bass and Emppu on his guitar. I think Emppu has heavier strings on his guitar, at least on the lower ones, which allows him to play lower notes than a normal guitar, though not as low as a bass. Other metal bands often need two guitarists to accomplish what Emppu is doing all by himself. Truly remarkable. And lets not forget about Marko. His skill with the bass and the wonderful tone that he is able to get out of it are amazing. Both Marko and Emppu are masters of their craft and I feel privileged every time I watch them play.

Nightwish Wacken Open Air 2013 is an extraordinary concert where the band and the audience are in top form. Floor Jansen was not yet a full member of Nightwish at this point. Every song is good. Dark Chest of Wonders a brilliant opener. This concert made me a Nightwish and Floor fan. My absolute favorites are next to Gost Love Score (2013 WOA), The Poet And The Pendulum (2015 - Wemley Arena) and The Greatest Show on Earth (2015 Tampere) Marko is a very good singer. He can be heard several times at this concert. My favorites are: Wish I Had an Angel I Want My Tears Back Romanticide Last ride of the day

Occasionally Marko sang (he left the band), and very occasionally Troy sings as well a bit. But really Floor does 99% of the singing. And since Marko has left, it is almost 100%, and we will not hear "Everdream" anymore live. There is a solo concert by Floor in Amsterdam where she sings this song alone and does the "Marko" parts herself. It was the opening song, just to make sure she was warmed up for the rest of the concert. Floor found this a difficult song to master, she said.
We all know Floor. If she says it's hard for her, it means she really enjoys it. Floor loves the challenge; she leaves easy songs to the others. That's the big difference between Floor and the masses of female singers!

Ha, so you finally got to hear Marko sing...You already know that Floor is a Goddess. After hearing Marko sing as you go through your list of songs , you will know him as a vocal God. It was actually unfair to other bands to have these 2 singers at the same time. He really is that good.
