Excuse me ma'm, great video, but is the reference photo at 7:39 really correct, the leads in the photo look to be placed higher than the 4th ics?
No it is exactly in the 4th ICS....Thank u for your comment
@@YellowPagesNursing1 thanks, i asked because in my practice i thought they were placing the leads too high same as in the picture. Apparently they were correct 😅

The 12-lead ECG displays, as the name implies, 12 leads which are derived by means of 10 electrodes.
The standard EKG leads are denoted as lead I, II, III, aVF, aVR, aVL, V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6. Leads I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF are denoted the limb leads while the V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, and V6 are precordial leads.
This is all about the placement of EKG LEADS
