It’s only a fraction of what it used to be. Most of them are gone now, and the rest will soon be gone. I’m bringing home a couple of them, so stay tuned!
Very nicely done vid, Blake. I will be watching the entire series and commenting on them as I go. I can tell you....the seller was absolutely THRILLED he was selling this car to someone who was going to restore it. The delivery to you was a show of gratitude. The way it should be. Some of my classic car acquisitions are quite stories themselves...just as this one is!
The good thing is that a lot of the parts are interchangeable so you got a good deal, you can either restore it or drive it like that I believe you can get classical auto plates , not sure.
I really want to explore that man's yard. Finding parts for these cars can be difficult. Good luck on your journey with this old girl.

I never knew what the numbers meant for the Volvos. Cool series👍
Thanks! It’s also applicable on the 240 until around 1986 or so, when they simplified the names to just be “240” for all models.

The interchangeable parts have been very nice. In Idaho it qualifies for a number of different license plates!
Good one .. love the wagon . I drive a 240 daily .. 92 .. and my only car .
I used to drive exclusively 240’s. Wonderful cars!
