Whenever i clean a glass conservatory roof with purifed water no matter how much i scrub and rinse it it always seem to leave little bits over then glass which become visible as the water starts to dry off Any ides why?
Yeah there always seems to be little bits that come out from the seals. I like to plug my pole into the tap to blast everything out during cleaning, then switch over to pure for the final rinse. Just be careful not to force water inside the seals.
Yes, I find it difficult to remove stubborn dirt with my supreme DuPont brush, but I get a great scrub from this Xline brush. That’s why I love it for roofs like this.😃👍🏼
Great video thanks, silly question but what flow rate do you have the xline brush going at for con roofs, I find con roofs really difficult to quote for as not sure what is a good price and what isn't, so im going in about £25 an hour, does that sound about right to you Ash? Many thanks
I bought the xline brush after your video and I like it alot! Definitely my new go to brush. Thanks 👍. Just a quick question, which upvc cleaner did you use? And is it safe to use on aluminium? Thanks! Keep up the great vids
That’s great! I’m glad you like it. Thanks for your comments. I use a upvc cleaner from bonnymans.co.uk you can’t do any damage with it. It’s a good soapy solution for cleaning these kinds of things.😃👍🏼
Yes it's much quicker, but make sure your pump is turned up enough to get a decent rinse! Bristles are longer than the gardiner dupont so it's great to get round all the frames!
@@timhancock5556 I'm trying to phase out gardiner, their quality has really gone down hill. Used the 35 on a conservatory roof yesterday, nice and quick. Good on velux's, it's the same width! 😝
Just bear in mind that the bigger brush is a little heavier. But if it helps you get the job done more quickly, maybe that means you will have more time to rest your muscles in between.😃👍🏼
Great video, gotta get one! Great combo with Gardiner pole. Thanks Ashley! Ade
Nice one. Thanks.👍🏼
Great video, looking forward to the next
Cool. Thanks for your comments.😎👍🏼
Decent amount of work in one day that mate 👍🏻
😎👍🏼
Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Thanks.😎👍🏼
Could you put a link to the brush head your using in this video please?
It’s in the description.😃👍🏼
Late to the party here! Do you just use tap water with the UPVC cleaner then rinse off with pure water?
Yeah, that’s a good way to save a bit of your pure water.👍🏼
Thanks for the video. Any recommendations for the uPVC cleaner please?
I get it from bonnymans.co.uk 😃👍🏼
What do you prefer ? Flat brushes or sill brushes ? Personally Iv never used a sill brush but wondered about pros and cons.
Yeah, I prefer to use flat / square brushes myself. Sill brushes are a great idea, but are quite a bit heavier usually.👍🏼
From your personal exprince do you think i can use this brush as everyday brush. and how can i fit this brush from Facelift phontom pole
Yeah, I love this as an everyday brush. You should be able to screw on the fitting from your pole straight onto the brush stock.👍🏼

i have aquestion the last job who many water do you use for this 2 glas houses?
What type of brush/bristles do you think works best on conservatory roofs? Find my supreme Dupont leaves too many bits behind

Just to confirm, if I bought this brush head I could attach it onto my slx gardiner pole ?
Yes. You will just need to get the quick loq fitting from Gardiner to screw onto the brush.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh I've got that 👍 . So if I go on website now which brush is it ?
DuPont bristles with rinse bar. I put a link in the description.😃👍🏼
Hello. Just wondering do you use hot water ?
No, cold pure water.😃👍🏼
Larger rinse bar? Says 9 holes on there site as does the 26cm?
Maybe it’s a typo because I’m pretty sure this rinse bar on the larger brush has 11 holes.😃👍🏼

Maybe go a bit higher than that. I use a slightly higher flow rate, about 40/45.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh How long did it take to do the first conservatory
What pole is that? and do the X-Line brush heads fit on Gardiner Poles?
I’m using it on a Phantom pole here. But yeah, whatever pole you use you just need to attach the right fitting to the brush.😃👍🏼

Brilliant, thanks for your quick response. I'll be getting one of those now 👍
Would you use the 35cm for regular windows
Yes it's much quicker, but make sure your pump is turned up enough to get a decent rinse! Bristles are longer than the gardiner dupont so it's great to get round all the frames!
@@danivinson Cheers Dan, I use the Phantom sill brush at the moment, stopped using Gardiner brushes a while back. 👍

Nothing to do with Xline.
Nice one Ash I watched your previous video with the x-line and bought one …. Superb brush and that rinse bar is 🙏🙏🏆👍
Thanks for your comments. I’m glad you enjoy the brush.😃👍🏼
This kinda jobs like what I call pain in the arse!
So it's gotta be overpriced!
Awkward ones, but the bigger brush helps.😃👍🏼
Your shoulders will be gone by aged 40 lol.. jesus cant be healthy al that pole work mate
Dinosaur thinking
I’ve been a traditional window cleaner for over 20 years, so I’m using different muscles now.😃👍🏼
ANOTHER AD video.............
Nope. Another video made with my own initiative. I wasn’t paid to make it.
@@aemackintosh Nope..... u weren’t paid but no doubt another freebie on the way to promote (it’s just another way of payment).
I do put a lot of work in to the channel. So I hope others benefit from my tips and reviews.
